Oh wow! Favorite burger ever and the sweet potato fries are great too but that burger is what keeps me going back. Love the flights of beer too. Is there anything better than a great burger, a flight of beers, good company and then being able to go play a few rounds of pinball? Went to Two Brothers because we were in the area and it's probably been like 6 or more years since I last came here. Went early evening on a Sunday and it wasn't crowded at all. I got the create your own pizza and it was alright; just an average pizza. Service was good and we were in and out pretty fast. I only tasted two out of the four beers from the beer flight. Usually I don't like beer but the abbey farms pumpkin ale was good. They were out of one of them but substituted for a similar one. read more

The mist important part of the review was our amazing server, Carrie! She matched our personality and truly was the best part of our visit Prairie Path beer was perfect and the only gluten free beer on the menu which was great! The nachos could feed four easily as the portion was huge! The booths need some major repairs. There was a metal piece sticking out on one of the seats and the cushions had saggy spots. Today was the first time I had been to TBTH. I was there for the IDR+ Bingo fundraiser from 1-4p. We had a blast! Our waiter, Brock was extremely busy but able to be extremely attentive to our needs. I had an amazing Bavarian style pretzel that came with 2 sauses that came at a pair, but I could only eat one. For only $10. Amazing! I also sampled their sweet potato fries that did not have the traditional honey mustard sauce, but for only $5 I am not complaining. TBTH was very kind to allow my rescue to barrow their facility and by doing so, made me into a fan and I will be a returning patron. Bonus! read more

I like Two Brothers Tap house I just don't love it anymore. The menu used to be a lot better, it has downgraded over the years but I won't focus on what they no longer serve. As for the current menu, the Steak & Mushroom was good but it was a bit dry and the ciabatta could have been fresher. I like the truffle fries so that was a plus. Also I find it interesting a tap house doesn't do flights other than the two speciality ones. Two Brothers has way too many good beers to just offer a few in flights. When asked why the response was it was just too hard and confusing. I'm glad most Breweries and Tap Houses don't fights to hard and confusing because that really would be part of my consideration in trying an establishment. read more

First of all, some background: There were six of us, all adults, who wanted to have a few beers and watch a ball game. So, the food was average. it seemed as tho it was just Gordon's food service frozen stuff that was heated up. The beer was fine--I had a Slow Pour which is a decent lager, and you can't go wrong with Domaine Dupage. The server was very nice. No great complaints with any of that. What really annoyed me, and why I will probably avoid this place in the future, is that when the hostess brought us to the bar to seat us (which is what we requested), the bartender asked us how many we were and when we said six, he made one of those faces Ross on Friends made when he wanted Chandler and Joey to keep the noise down. He wanted us to sit in the dining room. Even though there was no one else in the bar. And the only folks in the dining room were families with little kids. So we couldn't watch the game, and we had to sit amongst a bunch of little leaguers and couldn't hear the music. Not good customer service, Two Brothers. Do better. read more

Stopped in for a dinner with some family here. They had a wide variety of beers. Definitely a great brewery with multiple choices for all flavor profiles. Our waiter was extremely attentive and friendly. The food was also fantastic. The pork egg roll appetizers and the pizzas were some of our favorites. Everything was large portions as well. I got here right at 3pm when they opened and was the only person there. I was greeted by Brock, the bartender, and Dani, the manager. Both were very upbeat and professional. Brock took my order at the bar. I ordered the turkey club wrap and sweet potato fries, both were amazing. The wrap was tight so no food spilled out, and the mayo was just the perfect amount. The seasoning on the fries were sublime, some of the best fries I've had. Dani was doing some work at the other end of the bar, but made sure to come over once I was done to make sure everything was up to standard, which it definitely was. Rating: 3.5 stars I stopped by around a 6 PM on a Sunday night with a group of 5. The Tap House was fairly empty and we had a nice amount of space to ourselves. Our server came back right away and she was very friendly and efficient. Everything came out very quick as well! I got a pineapple seltzer to drink and it was very refreshing with a nice hint of pineapple that was not too overpowering at all. I tried some of a few items on the menu: -FISH AND CHIPS: The fries were great and a perfect texture! The fish was well fried but a little bit bland. There was a small cup of coleslaw on the side which was good. -FISH TACO: Was pretty good. The rice and beans on the side were a nice side as well, only wish there were more rice! My main complaint would be that the area we dined in was pretty dirty. We needed to wipe down our own booth that we sat in since there was lots of crumbs around. After a baseball game at a near by park my wife found this place so we drove there and to be honest it in a weird location we almost didn't make it here because it just not in the appropriate restaurant place it's more of a warehouse location. We arrived and there were some pretty big pot holes in the parking lot. At this moment I was thinking we have arrived to a shitty restaurant due to the location and potholes. We went inside and we were just standing there waiting to be seated and no one acknowledged us. After a few minutes the girl that was at the bar walked by us and told us to sit anywhere we wanted. We sat by the pin ball machines. I ordered and customized my pizza with jalapeños, mushrooms and pepperoni. It was so good and the ingredients were fresh. My son got the hey oh pizza that has Italian beef and gardenia peppers and green peppers and it was delicious. Highly recommend the pizza. My other son got the wings bbq and buffalo and they were good. We also got cheese curds and they were delicious a bit greasy and you don't get many. My wife got the chicken the Greek and that is amazing. It was super delicious I will be back just for it. We came here for New Years Eve. It wasn't too crowded probably given the location. The atmosphere was very casual but spacious. When driving to the location it feels like it's in the middle of no where. Service was good and timely! I liked on NYE they had a beer, appetizer, entree deal for about $20 (only select options but I liked the options they selected, good variety). My whole table ordered it and we were all pretty satisfied. Definitely a good value! I would order the beer cheese pretzel again. It was a good size and the pretzel wasn't dry. The cheese was a nice flavor. The flautas weren't too flavorful but they weren't bad. The tomatoes on top definitely helped. My husband really liked his burger. We asked them to sub out the Brie cheese for provolone and it was just as delicious! We loved the apple chutney on the burger. It made it refreshing. The sweet potato fries were cooked perfectly, not overly crispy. We would order this again. I like that the chicken Alfredo wasn't too heavy and included vegetables (mushrooms and broccoli). The chicken was cooked perfectly and had a nice flavor. The dish needed more sauce and a little more seasoning. It lacked flavor. I think just a little more seasoning would help. We were driving around looking for a place to eat, and my wife spotted this place. First off, it's NOT on a main drag. You have to go down a road, and there is no big sign - Yes, it is in an industrial building (since it is a BREWERY) with a loading dock. Get over it. Tip: the kitchen closes at 8:00 pm on Sunday, so if you want to order food, get there before that time. We got in around 35 minutes before the kitchen closed, and I ordered their Classic Salmon, while my wife had their Tap House Cobb Salad with Chicken. Both were cooked nicely, tasted really great, and had good presentation and texture. For drinks, she had their Cranberry Shandy, and I had their Cherry Northwind Stout. Both drinks were excellent - I liked the Cherry Northwind Stout, that I bought a six pack to bring home. Our waitress was very attentive and the food came out fast. No complaints! read more

This place does not disappoint. Food is always good. Atmosphere is simple. Set in a hidden location with plenty of trees. The outside room is screened in to keep the mosquitos and wasps away. Food here used to be top quality and more of a scratch kitchen. My meal last night was the opposite, ordered the triple P sandwich and the pulled pork seemed to come out of a microwave. Rubbery texture and not resembling anything like smoked pulled pork which is described on the menu. When ordering off the beer menu, found out they were out of 3 of the beers. Being a beer chick in Chicago, it's strange (at least to me) that I've never been to Two Brothers. I'm not going to lie, I was so slow to get there because I don't love any of their flagship beers (Domaine DuPage, Cane & Ebel, Ebel's Weiss)...and it's just so gosh darn far from the city! However, this past weekend, I made the trek out to Warrenville and gave them a go. I was actually quite happy with everything including their special brews! When we pulled up to their brewery in Warrenville, we weren't sure we were in the right place. I'm used to unassuming warehouse looking breweries, but there was no signage at all for this fairly big & popular spot. Note: I just saw on their website "WE'RE SO INDEPENDENT THERE'S NO NAME ON OUR BREWERY." Ha! So I guess that's their thing. Once you park & walk up to the front door though, you'll see that signature logo. You walk through a gift shop and are greeted by the hosting staff before being seated. This location seems much more like a dining spot that people grab some beers at then a drinking spot that people grab some food at - if that makes sense. So when going here, I would go with intent to eat. And worry not! Their food is really quite good. Our server (who was SO awesome by the way...really knowledgeable, friendly and on top of his game) told us they have a fairly new lineup on the menu for Spring. They have a huge menu so you'll surely find something appealing and I went with the Pork Loin and Apple Grilled Cheese $12. It came with a good amount of Roasted Pork Loin, Smoked Apple Mayonnaise, Pepper Jack Cheese which wasn't spicy at all and cheddar cheese on white bread. I really enjoyed my sandwich and loved the fries that came with it. My friend had the wings and enjoyed those, as well. Beerwise, you can get their 7 signature brews in pint form of in $2 sample sizes. I'm all about creating my own flight so did a few samples, but of their more premium beers. As previously mentioned, I really don't care much for their usual beers but all the new-to-me suds I tried at the brewery were excellent! I had In The Dark (4.2% Blackberry Sour Ale), Monarch (4.5% White Beer), In The Flesh (Mango sour at 4.2%) and Red Eye IPA (a coffee IPA at 6.7%) - all of which were $3 samples. Then a couple of heavy hitters that ran me $6 for a sample - but you could get a full glass for $12 - Gratuotious Merengue (My fav of the day a 9.5% Barrel Aged Barley Wine) and Lilikeo Love (7.5% strong ale with passion fruit). I really did like all 6 that I tried. Truly enjoyed my time at Two Brothers and now I want to try the Roundhouse! read more

We stopped in on a Thursday afternoon after a work event. It was just after they opened so not too busy. I'd never been to this location, I'd only been to the brewhouse in Aurora. It is kind of hidden in an industrial park/neighborhood but don't let that deter you, this place has plenty of seating and a nice sized parking lot. You walk in to their check-in area/small store where they sell to-go beer and other Two Brothers apparel. We were seated right away and our waiter was over to us quickly. Our waiter was very informative and offered samples of the beers we were unfamiliar with, even offering to replace a full glass of one of our guests because they didn't like it after all. Very nice touch!! The food was fun. Nice twists on your local bar favorites. 3 of us got burgers, and 1 got a buffalo chicken wrap. There were a few things on the menu that I wanted to try but never got around to so I'll be back! Overall, good beer, nice atmosphere, and a large enough menu for all those picky eaters! Service was stellar. The food was bad. Super soggy nachos. Couldn't eat half of it that was drenched in grease they call their chimichurri sauce. If that's how they serve it they should train their wait staff to inform guests and suggest it be served on the side. It's also nothing like actual chimichurri. We asked our server to remove it from the bill after we complained several times. In my opinion it seems like the server has received this complaint before. She was nice but that's never a fun part of their job. The manager didn't even come check on us, which is huge indication of poor operations. Beans... served right out of the can in its original gravy. Come on guys, at this price, clean them and create a sauce for them or something. The rice... which is great by itself... cooked with peas. Unbalanced flavors. Offer peas as a side... or skip it. My friend's burger meat (not pictured) was awful. It smelled funny and the were some tough flesh. Crystal clear sign of poor kitchen operations. The food is barely with half the price point. They're clearly making money from beer and merch sales. If they keep the poor food quality they should cut prices in half. My guess is they're not putting money into maintaining quality. read more

Very solid tap house. Cool store in the front with beers to take home as well as merchandise. We went with a group of 4 and had the best server. I wish I remembered his name because he was great. He made us laugh and was so friendly & charming. I enjoyed this place right off the bat because of the excellent service we received. My fiancé ordered the tap house burger for us to share and I ordered the beer brezen pretzels. You can't go wrong with a good burger and a good soft pretzel, this place nailed both. The sauces that come with the pretzel were sooooo good. Pinball beer is smooth and super drinkable. Also tried the outlaw mosaic and the wobble which were delicious as well. A gem!!!! Came across Two Brothers Tap House while on a bike ride, and I am so lucky I did!! First, Danni (sp?), the manager was INCREDIBLE. She let me charge my phone - with her charger. Then, she steered me to the salmon burger - which was fantastic. Last, but certainly not least, she made sure the pint glass never was empty!! Super friendly staff. Super great food. This place is truly a hidden gem. Use a map program to find this place because it is definitely tucked away and other than a decal on the door I didn't see any indication the restaurant was here. They have a lot of good stuff on the menu and some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. I also highly recommend the Beer Brezen (soft pretzels) & the Portobello Reuben as well. They have all the current Two Brothers beers and I like you can get a "sample" size as well without committing to a whole flight or a whole glass to give stuff a try. They also have a number of other local brews in bottles/cans. The servers were all incredibly friendly and helpful as well and the place was very clean. A nice alternative on a weeknight if you don't want to go to their more crowded and definitely louder Roundhouse location in Aurora. read more
