They're great to stop by on the morning to work if you take Wisc Ave. There's always parking, even during rush hour ... and there really fast... they get your order and give you your food so quickly that I never have to wait too long. It's a clean McD's. read more

Definitely the best McDonald's I've been to. They keep things clean; the tables, floor AND bathrooms. They have a lot of on site parking. The employees there are very nice, specifically Cynthia. She always has that beautiful smile on and always remembers me. She also has a great sense of humour and is a hard worker. I'm updating my review because the last time I went everyone was extremely nice and polite. In the past if I asked for something I'd be lucky to get a grunt and then the thing thrown at my tray. Overall I'd say this was a good culinary experience. I ordered a double cheeseburger and a "Big Mac". To drink I got a diet coke. The cheeseburger was pretty tastey (sp?); the patties themselves aren't very big, at least compared to some restaurants, but between both my sandwiches (ha-get it: "between my sandwiches) I had four (4) patties (b/c there were 2 on tha *double* cheeseburger and 2 on tha "Big Mac." Speaking of tha "Big Mac": there was a pretty good sauce on it. I wanted to complement tha chef and ask what he (or she) put in tha sauce, but my waiter wouldn't reveal the ingredients of the sauce or the identify of tha chef. And that gets to the second component of my review: tha service. It's interesting because there are actually no waiters or hostesses. Instead, you wait in line and then give your order to someone and pay at the same time. It's actually pretty efficient--some of the so-called "fancy" restaurants could learn from this model. I also liked the fact that I could control my beverage intake, since they put a sort of pop machine in tha middle of tha restaurant. In other words, I didn't have to wait for a waiter to give me a refill, and I knew without asking that they had free refills. So, overall the product and tha service were good. I don't make a habit of going to McDonalds, but I give into my fast food urges from time to time. Last week I took a long walk and was exhausted and hungry so I stopped in. I agree with the other reviewers that this is cleanest McD's I've been to in the DC area. It's very open and bright and there's a lot of seating. Next time I want to give into my McDonalds craving I'll probably walk back up here. I give it 3 stars because it's McDonalds, but I think 4-4.5 start would be appropriate when comparing this location to other McDonalds. read more

This location used to be decent. Now it's become unforgivably bad. The staff are completely incompetent, they don't know the menu they serve at the location or how to use the cashier system. They are extremely slow and will often mess up your order by charging you incorrectly or giving you the wrong food (often making it incorrectly, amazingly enough for mostly premade fast-food). read more

This McDonald's kicks ass. It has an actual, honest-to-goodness parking lot and is open 24 hours a day. It also seems to be cleaner than the average McDonald's with the exception of the drink fountain / condiment area which is usually pretty foul (lots of spills and trash). read more

Its the Sunday breakfast rush and this place is super clean, well stocked, and quick. As a big McDonald's in an urban location, some policies are different from your standard "just off the exit" suburban location--mainly, there's no drive thru and the staff member working the pickup counter is loud, clear, and quick with getting food off the pickup counter and to the correct person. It's necessary and I'm thankful that the staff/mgmt made those choices to keep this place running smoothly. read more

Don't dine in. There are ants and other small bugs crawling in the windowsill. The shelves near the booths in the dining area are also dusty. Food is ok but there is a maintenance man using profanity while he walks around the dining area. read more

A true cornerstone for the locals! 2 days after Snowzilla they were still so busy toasting breakfast muffins 24/7 that -in stark contrast to their neighbors' properties - the sidewalks hadn't seen a shovel. They would have been able to clean up the mess around the building with an XL soda cup by then had they tried. read more

I had another terrible experience at this McDonalds. When I went to the cashier I had to wait to place my order until she finished sending at text message. Then, I had to wait 20 minutes to get my order while people who came in 5 to 10 minutes after me got there orders. One young lady who came in 10 minutes after me got the same order as I had. My number was 357, hers was 364. When I asked to speak to a manager about why I had to wait so long while other people got served I was told there was no manager available. Finally, noticed that the people who worked there were rude to other people asking one "What you want". read more

QUALITY: Cold chicken nuggets and French fries. SERVICE: Just Ok, cashiers need to smile, they look bored or mad. CLEANLINESS: Very dirty place, bathroom was really nasty, urine all over the floor and really unpleasant smell. Most tables were dirty, customers had to clean their own tables. Lobby guy was standing right next to the soda machine most of the time and wouldn't clean tables or sweep the floor. The most disgusting thing was the soda machine even though the lobby person was right next to it most of the time, all the soda nuzzles had mold all over them. Management need to train your employees on washing and sanitizing all soda nuzzles every night because you are making all your customers to ingest mold every time they buy a cold drink. Health department wouldn't be too happy to see this. VALUE: After all of the above and putting your customers health in risk by letting them to ingest mold, obviously that's not worth what we pay for. read more

Well, when is late and you don't have to much options, you choose mc Donald's, it's supposed to be fast and decent. But this place in specific on Wisconsin Av, is a totally crap!!!! I've order the last three times and they literally rob you! Yes, they send the wrong items or they simply don't sent everything you have paid for, last time they forgot the apple sliced, the chocolate milk, the TOY! Of a happy box, and not happy with that they sent two frappe coffee instead two mc flurry , well I called the place and the manager was a completely asshole, and he basically told me "okay just come for the missing items" seriously ??? 2am and I have to go for the missing items that they didn't send by mistake????? Thanks god uber eats refund me the money or I would feel so frustrated. We ordered three quarterpounder meals, but discovered when we got home that one was ice cold and had no meat whatsoever on the sandwich. The other two were fine. I would like to thank the gentleman Armel for being willing to correct the ticket #223 order and he apologized for the horrible chicken wraps that were old, dried out or re-fried like card board when I went to bite into the wrap with a few strands of welted lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese. I came to 4130 Wisconsin ave. NW expecting a great experience based on reviews I read on line from happy customers about the friendly staff and clean organized McDonald's. True it was clean and nice looking but the staff was not friendly.The cashier who placed the order was like a drill sergeant 'hi welcome to McDonald's may I take your order" before I could finish reading the selections on menu lol . I GET IT FAST FOOD- FAST ORDER." When your'e ready sir I can place your order" would be a better approach.There was no long line it was 9:13 pm . I MIGHT HAVE CAME AT A BAD TIME, you never know what people are going through these days so I accommodated her without reservation. Hurried back to my work desk AFTER EATING THE FRIES WHICH WERE GOOD . IT WAS MY BREAK I took the metro bus in a suit hot as it was. I TOOK OUT THE WRAPS AND SURPRISE MY CO WORKERS SAW IT and suggested I take it back. I CALLED THE STORE AND SPOKE TO ARMEL . I expected to have an organic menu. Unfortunately, I was not pleased by their disgusting fatty menus. Since I am vegan and identify as a salad fork this place disturbed me on many levels. There were no gluten free options and there were no trees to thank for the meal. Since I am very religious and pray to trees (Paegan) I didn't know what to do.
