Between the mobile orders, drive thru and door dash pickups this McDonald's location has its hands full. Over the years I've tried to avoid this location and even groaned when picks up on door dash were from this one but recently they've earned my trust back. The workers and managers here have really stepped their game up and many mistakes in the past have been left there. I have been coming here for a while since it's close to my old house. This location used to host my mom and her friends for daily coffee. The inside was a lot different back then. Although it's changed a lot the inside dining is still clean and spacious. read more

They took a little while, but it was OK. It wasn't that long and it was a girl who helped us out brown skin. She was very sweet even though they were out of my iced tea. She gave me a different drink and she gave me the sauces I needed. I feel bad for the workers here because there was a homeless lady yelling in the drive-through at the cars and the workers have to deal with that Good service and good food. Thank you. Order on the mobile for a counter pick up...I walked three blocks to get there just for the lobby to be closed and for the employees and managers to ignore the black guy knocking on the door. I feel like fast food places get really bad reviews because people only document their negative experiences. While the food at this McDonald's is just about what you'd expect, I want to give a big shout out to the workers at this particular location. This is my local McDonald's and I'm always pleasantly surprised with how friendly and energetic the crew here is. They're polite, quick, and always have a smile on their face - no small feat for the service industry. On more than one occasion, I've also found a complimentary cookie added into my order. Just a nice, small gesture - simply because. While certainly not fine dining or food-wise anything beyond what you'd find at any other McDonald's, this particular store deserves 5 stars when compared to the other McDonald's locations in the area. This review is solely on the (Hot & New!) Spicy Chicken McNuggets. I was expecting some type of spicy kick upon the first bite, but nothing. I thought maybe it would take a couple nuggets to taste a difference, but again for me - nothing. Now once I dipped the slightly more darker nuggets into the Mighty Hot Sauce... my mouth starting feeling a spicy kick. I ended up mixing the bbq sauce + Might Hot Sauce and this creation was everything. While some bites were spicier than others the bbq sauce created a nice, tangy balance! While the nuggets were hot and fresh, I really don't taste a big difference from the original nuggets. The main difference is the new "Mighty Hot Sauce." I'm curious to see how this hot sauce would take on a McChicken, hummm? Lol. While I don't go out of my way to go to McD's - I had to make an exception to try these new creations. I go to McDonald's about once every 5 years, usually just to get an ice cream or fries. We realized our kid - who is 11 years old - has never had a meal there. She'd been craving McDonald's for about a week, so we did what most kids in America should have the opportunity to do. We went. There are plenty of McDonald's around. Interestingly, they almost all have 1.5 starts on Yelp. A very consistent brand! We chose this one out of convenience. She got the kids meal with 6 piece chicken McNuggets, fries, and a frozen Sprite. She enjoyed the fries and the Sprite. She ate the McNuggets and said they were "ok". I stole a fry or two and they were amazing. She wanted to dip the McNuggets in honey and they were happy to provide two packets. The whole drive through experience was efficient and satisfactory. The meal came with a Red wind-up car from the Disney movie "Cars". She enjoyed putting the sticker decals on it. You pulled the car back and when you let go, it made a hard left every time. Very poor alignment. Do not go to this McDonald's if you want your car serviced. The whole experience was about what I expected. It's fast food. I knew we weren't getting fine dining, healthy food, and the best service. It made my kid happy and occupied for an hour with the food, the car and the happy meal box. First off I went to get a gift card, I went through the drive through and the lady told me that I would have to get off in order to purchase one because it was "faster" & ... okay I didn't argue it & so I did what she said & then I went in to the MCDS and I was being assisted by a cashier & she charged my debit card and told me to proceed by swiping the gift card.... the gift card kept declining (3-4 times) and the worker told me "your doing it wrong & too slow" I asked if she could go ahead and try then & she refused to help me, she said she would refund my card and walked away from me leaving me standing like an idiot for a couple minutes until I left because of how irritating that situation was. McDonald's well I have to say for the most part this establishment is usually great but yes it does get hammered by the transits that roam around and the frequent people that come threw the drive threw throw a lot of trash in the bushes. I must say the employees are on top of that cleaning of the outside because i usually see them around 7-7:30am they are out. My issue is not all of them comply with the dress code today Sept 14th 2020 was good no issues, the last time I visited(maybe Sept 10th I'll have to find my receipt and update the review) the drive threw cashier was wearing: No hat or Manage style blouse or approved clothing, she had a random t-shirt, and warmup pants(Leggings) I looked it up and the company guidelines state these are not allowed. I know the location is primarily women staff but if a guy tried to wear this (Equal Rights) he/she would be told to go home right away because of "parts" I really hope this can be addressed because I love this McDonald's and greatly appreciate all there hard work and that they do and they get my order almost 98% of the time perfect.
