I have this place an extra star because the people who work here are generally nice & polite. Without them, I probably would have given this place a 2. Here's why. I go in to get the little hamburger combo, sometimes I get the Cajun fries, & sometimes I don't. Sometimes the Cajun fries really hurts my stomach, & are seriously over seasoned on them. The fries do not stay hot for very long, so if you're taking it to-go, you mine as well eat them in the car if you want them hot & fresh. The burger is always a slimey mess, I don't know why. The flavor isn't that bad, but the patty seems to be flattening each time I go in to order. It could be the lettuce making it so slippery because the lettuce it always soft, like it's welted before it's ever put onto the hamburger. I would like to say this was a mistake, but every single time I have been to a Five Guys, and the 3 times I've been to this one, it's always the same thing. Their grilled onions are okay, but they don't really even taste like grilled onions ‍. It's kind of weird. For the prices that they charge, I would expect places like this to be a Five Start review spot to eat, but unfortunately, I've had my share, & it's just not it for me. I've been to many five guys locations over several years and this one stands out for overall quality. I placed my order online for a little cheeseburger meal and it was ready within 10 minutes, also accurate. Inside, the dining area was clean and so were the restrooms. I was waiting for one of my dogs to be finished being groomed so I ended up going inside more than once for water and the restroom while my other dog waited in the car. Each time I entered, I received a friendly greeting from various staff members. I wish I had gotten names. It was kind of a rare, overall extremely positive experience. Came in for a patty melt and came out pretty happy/satisfied. When we arrived the staff was friendly and was really attentive. We ordered a grilled cheese and added a patty, hence a patty melt. But it isn't on the menu so we ordered it that way. And a small Cajun fries. Food was all made to order, fries were crispy and the patty melt was made perfectly. I got a little cheeseburger here the other night with just ketchup, mustard, mayo, and grilled onions. I normally don't rate chains on Yelp but I saw the rating on here was low so I decided to give this location a rating because it's clean inside with lots of seating and the workers were very helpful and friendly. They also have those soda machines with a bunch of flavors that my partner likes so that was a plus. This place can be pretty expensive but the burgers are always good so depends on your budget if you want to check this place out. Today I sent my son to get some dinner and the $10 cup of fries was 3/4 full, usually it's well over loaded(as they claim you get so many fries because of the burger prices) but both the large and small were no where near full. I had been craving a big Five Guys Burger for a couple weeks so I decided to pay this store a visit. The place was nice and clean inside but I didn't see any hand sanitizers which is a mistake since they offer unlimited serve yourself free peanuts. I didn't touch em. I'm not at risk for Corona but I'm not stupid either lol. The young staff were all in the back most likely doing young people stuff. It took a few minutes before someone came out and took my order. Prices have gone up since my last visit (years ago) which is no surprise. Their normal double burger is $8.40 a small fry is $4.05 and a shake is another $4 or $5 bucks. What is lacking here is a combo meal. Some combo meal options would make Five Guys more competitive with In and Out. The fries are no longer soggy dinner fries but thin cut and made with local farm potatoes. The burger is made to order and yummy. The beef could use seasoning though. It took two reminders to get my milk shake which was also very good. In sum if it weren't for their bad service this would be a four star review. I would definitely say that In and Out offers a tastier but less meaty product. read more

The place is clean. Staff is friendly and alert. There is a sign that says the burger are cooked well done but are juicy. Unfortunately they were dry. The only way they can be juicy if there is a high fat content and cooked with a lid over them so that they are steamed. The fries did not taste good. You can tell they cooked them only once. To get soft but crispy fries you need to partly cook them. Let them rest then fry them again to get the crispiness. With a single burger, patty, drink and fries it cost around $22. So expensive. I would have been better going to Scott's burger or better still Tower Cafe for $16 (burger cooked to how you want it and fries are so good.) The good: they top up the fries and give you peanuts when you ask for them. read more

Normally Five Guys isn't my go to fast burger place, but this one just opened a couple months ago and I decided to give it a try. Parking was fine and the lines weren't too long. The service was your usual trained chain efficiency, a bit robotic, but they get the job done right. I went with the regular cheeseburger, which is actually a double burger. Fries are always pretty good and you get a tone of them, so just get the small order, even for 2 people! The burger was fine, though expensive compared to the competition. The fries are a bit on the greasy side, but that can be a good thin, depending on you point of view! I'll say this location stacks up to the rest of the Five Guys chain, so nothing unusual here. These guys messed up big time. Most restaurants push Doordash orders last and this lady thought I was doordash. I walked in to pick up my order that was supposed to be ready at 2:15pm. When I walked in, there were no customers. Two employees in the kitchen standing around and a lady on the phone. She screamed to her coworkers that I was a dasher waiting on Stephanie's order. I ran out to check on my kids then ran back in and waited. I noticed two customers who came after me got his order before I did. Meanwhile they barely started cooking my order. It was already 2:19pm. I placed my order on your website at 1:43pm. You guys text me saying it's almost ready so I head to the restaurant. Got there and my food got pushed back because the lady thought I was Doordash. If you guys don't like partnering up with Doordash then don't! But ironically you guys have the same color logo and mistaken your own online customers as others and pushed web orders back and putting walk ins first. I pay the same way everyone else does. Five Guys is so good I don't even consider it fast food. They do one thing and they do it well. These are quality burgers in every sense, from the fresh grilled patties to the fresh toppings to some of the tastier quality buns out there. And don't forget a tall cup - yes, I said cup, of their pipin' hot fries. Put it all together and there isn't much not to love. Their new Crocker Village location is the most convenient to me yet, so you can bet I've already been there a couple times. This review is being written during the time of social distancing, but even now they have a convenient way for you to order online and pick up in-store. The online and to go order experience is slightly inferior in that it takes a while to get to eating back at home and those hot fries lose their heat, but overall it's head and tails above your average burger experience. For those of you watching out for your weight they have lettuce wrapped burgers, too. But c'mon. The whole reason to eat Five Guys is to indulge, so I say go the opposite direction and add a patty. Last night my wife and I ordered via Uber Eats. We ordered 2 Cheeseburgers, one in a bowl, a Large fries, and 2 cokes. They delivered- 1- cheeseburger 1/2 a cup of fries- ($7.50-Used to be more fries than we can eat) 2-cokes Uber Eats non-responsive. Called 5 Guys and was told "call Uber Eats, not our problem! Click! With Shake Shack opening. In/Out everywhere, Brodericks, and Burgers and Brew, there is simply no reason to order from this disgusting, incompetent, and horribly managed location.
