I…read moresincerely apologize if I'm spelling her name incorrectly, but I believe it was Arianna or Aranna. She has long blonde hair, is very soft-spoken, kind, and was incredibly understanding. I'm sure the staff will know exactly who I'm referring to. Unfortunately, before our party, my mother had a very upsetting interaction with one of the younger staff members while simply trying to get information about the party. My mother lives out of state and was helping pay for her grandson's 9th birthday, so she was only trying to make sure everything was taken care of. She absolutely did not deserve to be yelled at or made to feel uncomfortable. I also personally had a difficult experience with the front desk staff between approximately 9:00 and 10:30. Simple questions could not be answered without asking someone else, and at one point it took going through three different employees before someone could give me an answer. The customer service at the front desk definitely needs improvement. With such a busy environment and children and families everywhere, I really believe the younger staff need more training, guidance, and supervision on how to communicate professionally with customers. However, the way this manager handled the situation completely changed the direction of our experience. She listened. She was calm, compassionate, and genuinely concerned about how my mother had been treated. Most importantly, she didn't dismiss what happened or make excuses. She took responsibility as a manager, told us the situation would be addressed with the employees involved, and then went out of her way to give us additional time so we could regain some of the time and enjoyment that had been taken away by the earlier situation. That meant SO much to me. Instead of allowing one negative interaction to overshadow my son's birthday, she helped turn the experience around. She made my mother feel heard and respected again, and she gave our family the opportunity to move past that stressful moment and get back to what we were there for -- celebrating my son and making memories. That is what good management looks like. Problems can happen anywhere, especially in a busy establishment, but how management responds makes all the difference. She handled the situation with grace, professionalism, empathy, and kindness. Between her stepping in and Kari being absolutely incredible with our party, what could have easily become a stressful and disappointing experience turned into an AMAZING birthday for my son and our family. Thank you so much for taking care of my mother, listening to our concerns, and making things right. I truly hope management recognizes you for the way you handled everything. I said I'll do whatever you recommend because I wanted to try a classic martini cuz I've been watching Gossip Girl. I felt silly admitting I wanted a martini because of a tv show. But my server actually did his research and found that Blair (a main character in the show) likes her martini with a lemon twist. And that is the martini I got. He brought frozen glass and poured the drink on the spot. It was such a vibe and a great drink. For food I got the grilled prawns. This dish is delicious and goes so well with my martini! For my second drink I got the shiso fresh. I was debating between two drinks and asked my server for suggestions. He is absolutely right with this recommendation.
