The service this time was better than usual. As mentioned in my previous review, whenever I come with girlfriends or alone, all of the attention goes pretty much to the male customers. I love how much the food has improved here. In the past I'd come for the drinks and apps but now I enjoy meeting friends and family for lunch or dinner. We've been here a few times to catch the Saints game on football Sunday. There's never been an issue getting a table with the game on. Half the place is full of Bills fans and even when we played the Bills, they were all very friendly. It's a family oriented restaurant. Their Bloody Mary is tasty. The food is good and there's a very large selection of items. We haven't had anything bad though we wouldn't call their version of Jambalaya, actually Jambalaya. They make it by having a Creole sauce with shrimp, chicken, mussels, and andouille sausage served over rice when Jambalaya is actually a highly seasoned one pot rice dish. Their version tastes good but we would call it something else. It's more like an Etouffee. My husband is from NOLA so we're biased. Anyhow, we very much enjoy coming here. They have awesome drink and appetizer specials. We would order more drinks and food if we had known but we always forget until we get the bill and see the discounts. The service was really good! We were greeted the moment we arrived and our drink orders were immediately taken. There was around twelve in our party, but that didn't hinder the speed of the service. The food was also great. Our boss ordered Deep Fried Oreos and everyone said it tasted really good - I had to abstain because of my doctor's orders to stay away from sweets. But my main order, a Mushroom Swiss Burger was really good! And the side of french fries was really commendable! Plus the price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. I ordered a flatbread chicken pizza which was much better than I expected. The crust nicely cooked, it had a great flavor, and plenty of toppings. Unfortunately my bartender was a bit of a pest. I only watched a quarter of my football game but she stopped by to check on me 9-10 times. When I didn't want another beer, she coming by to ask if I wanted water. After I ate 1/2 of my pizza, she asked if I wanted a box, and then my check. I was going to stay, but I got the impression she was trying to rush me out the door. It was strange because the place was about 1/3rd full with maybe 4 other people at the bar. Went here to watch the game and there are plenty of TVs all around the bar. We went on a Saturday and the tables and floor were sticky from the night before. The women's bathroom did not stick, but is need of minor repairs-toilet seat, soap dispenser, etc. I tried several miles and they were not great, tasted like syrup and inconsistent mixes. They had one bartender making all the drinks for the whole place and she was keeping up somewhat, but definitely needed assistance. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Went here 12/28 because it is supposed to be the Sacramento Buffalo Bills Backers bar. Unfortunately we left halftime. A drunk, belligerent guy at the end of the bar wearing a Niners jersey was heckling the Bills and cheering for the Eagles (even though an Eagles victory is bad for the Niners) The bartender kept serving him as he got louder and did his very best to annoy the Bills fans who were there spending plenty of money. He wasn't just cheering for the Eagles, he was trashing the Bills the whole time. I think if I had a bar that I wanted to pull a group of fans in to spend their money I would put a stop to it. I heard he was there the weekend prior and security had to get involved. Won't step foot in your bar again and my group will take our money elsewhere. read more

I went looking for something good in sac since I stay in Davis for school. Safe to say I found it in this little gem!!! TLDR: GREAT FOOD, SERVICE, AND DRINKS! Food: we ordered the Alfredo fettuccini with chicken and the bacon bacon burger with sweet potato fries. The pasta was so flavorful and the cheesy garlic bread it was served with was a nice complement however, the chicken was a bit dry which is typical of chicken breast I'd give it a solid 8/10. The burger and fries were good, standard but not disappointing in any way, 7/10 pretty good. Drinks: green tea shooter, starburst shooter, and margaritas. I've been dying to try a green tea shot and now I know why they're so dangerous. I'm a weenie when it comes to tasting alcohol so if it tastes too much like alcohol I'll drink it but I won't enjoy it. The green tea shooters were a good choice. They were definitely more alcohol tasting than the margarita though, to be expected because they are shooters. The starburst shots lived up to their name and tasted like candy, more watermelon flavor than anything else, very easy to drink. All were 10/10 very good. Service: fast and friendly. 7/10 only because I think our server forgot about us a little when we asked for boxes but that's okay because she was so nice and everything else we asked for came to us within 5 minutes. On Saturday they have live music and we were lucky enough to catch the performance! Very funky and good for this sporty fun bar vibe. My friends wanted to celebrate my bday and knew I'm a huge fan of Moscow mules. This place is a definite must check out if you fancy Moscow mules. As of currently I've tried the Darryl Strawberry Mule, Cherry Island Mule and Pina Cool-Ada Mule. With my favorite of the three so far being the strawberry mule. Love the many options and could see myself coming back to try more. For food they have burgers and sort of classic bar food. I wound up getting the bacon bacon cheeseburger but it was so undercooked and greasy, that I just wound up taking it to go and discarded it when I got home. The staff felt bad and comped the burger for my birthday. I think I would give the food a second chance but just try something different. Another cool thing about this place is they have trivia night with a dj, but heads up the lights strobe with the music so if you're prone to seizures you might want to avoid those nights. read more

Was here on a Sunday afternoon to watch nfl games. This bar is 10/10 for sports-watching purposes Perfect balance of good food, good menu variety, good service, full bar, tons of TVs, diverse patrons and friendly environment. We sat in the booths and the seats there were super comfortable. We were seated for 4 hours and i was 100% comfy the entire time! I coulda stayed longer but we needed to leave for our flight. I noticed the bartenders were very good about changing the TVs so that all the games were visible from every angle. I really appreciated this bc I've been to so many sports bars where u have to beg the staff to change channels or they will have a million TVS but all showing the same game. The staff was very proactive about making sure the games were all showing. Our waitress was very kind, fast and understanding, i wish i could remember her name but she had long curly hair. She was attentive without being overbearing and she had great insight on the menu. Menu had really good variety and cocktails and shots were all well-made. I have no complaints, wish i could take this bar back to my hometown. We went to a high end steakhouse the night before and our food came out cold. I was so happy that this bar cooked food to order and brought it out as it was ready, instead of waiting for everything to be ready and risking things getting cold. 10/10! read more
