    Trice O.

Maybe it's inflation or tariffs but I'm starting to have second thoughts on leaving the house. $10 cover, no biggie, I guess. I thought bars were free to enter! A canned hard cider was $10, (I was expecting $6-8 ) and this place automatically adds gratuity to all orders so I ended paying $11+. Okay rant over... The ambiance was decent sized bar that included a small patio option. It just so happened to be "R&B night " so the tunes were good and the crowd was cool. (But I guess this is why there was a cover charge to enter the bar and expensive drinks...I won't go there...) That said if you're looking for a bar in West Sac, here's an option.

I came here with my 16 year old daughter. The atmosphere was like it always is. Welcoming and casual. There were a few sports games on the TV. So the vibe was lively. The service this time was better than usual. As mentioned in my previous review, whenever I come with girlfriends or alone, all of the attention goes pretty much to the male customers. This time our server was a girl named Kaimoni (probably spelled that wrong haha). She was very attentive. Quick with the refills, and double checked our order when she wasn't sure about something. The food was good as usual. This is over all a great place to come for any occasion.

7/31 We were staying in town and I found this place on Yelp with good reviews so we wanted to try it out. I'm glad we did because it was Great . We were greeted immediately as we walked in, wasn't busy for a Thursday evening. We were able to choose wherever we wanted to sit . We grabbed a table for 4. C.J. Was our server and was awesome. He helped us immediately and got us drinks and appetizers to start. We ordered chicken wings mango habanero , they were huge (see pic ) and cooked to perfection. Also had the Famous Mule Poppers ( see pic) and man they were soooo good . Highly recommend. My son got the Mac & Cheese bites. They were pretty good too. For entrée I got the Kick'n mule burger omg it was delish and massive. The jalapeños on it were kick'n , sooo good . Son had the cheese pizza (no pic) he enjoyed . Wife had Tenders( she has pic) she enjoyed, friend had a burger as well forgot which one but he enjoyed . Everything was good . Sports bar vibe with bar in center and TV's everywhere . Was nice and clean. It seemed like a little hole in the wall spot and it was great. Thanks to Yelp for helping me find this place . Recommend. Enjoy !!!!

My veggie omelette was excellent! Tons of veggies. Potatoes were decent. Wife's chicken n waffles consisted of frozen tendies so, mid. Service was pleasant enough. Food took a little while to get to us but not too bad.

We've been here a few times to catch the Saints game on football Sunday. There's never been an issue getting a table with the game on. Half the place is full of Bills fans and even when we played the Bills, they were all very friendly. It's a family oriented restaurant. Their Bloody Mary is tasty. The food is good and there's a very large selection of items. We haven't had anything bad though we wouldn't call their version of Jambalaya, actually Jambalaya. They make it by having a Creole sauce with shrimp, chicken, mussels, and andouille sausage served over rice when Jambalaya is actually a highly seasoned one pot rice dish. Their version tastes good but we would call it something else. It's more like an Etouffee. My husband is from NOLA so we're biased. Anyhow, we very much enjoy coming here. They have awesome drink and appetizer specials. We would order more drinks and food if we had known but we always forget until we get the bill and see the discounts. It doesn't matter to us that ordering food can be spotty. The place is busy so we get it. Once we're able to place our order, the food comes out quickly and hot.

Came here for Hapoy Hour with my coworkers. The service was great. Our server let us split our checks, and there were 9 of us. Music selection was a good variety. Drinks were good! I had the Green Tea shooter: this was a bourbon based shooter, not too sweet which is what I like, 10/10. I had the Harbour Blvd: this was a bourbon based mule with peach and some other fruit flavor, 10/10. For bites, I had the loadwd fries. It was OK. I would definitely come back.

Such a chill spot! Great daily deals and happy hour. Super friendly service. Specialty mules are delicious! Great for sporting event because they have lots of TVs. Can't wait for the nice weather to be outside playing pool!

We had a coworker who was leaving us, so we took him here for lunch as a send-off. The Kick 'N Mule was a bit of hard to find. You drive inside the shopping center and they're located in the inside nearest West Capitol Avenue. And looking for a parking spot was a bit of a nightmare (especially during meal times). Good thing I had a handicapped pass which allowed me to park in the 15 minutes zones. The others in our group weren't that lucky. But the place was very nice and cozy for a sports bar. A bit dark, but the place was very clean. In the center was the bar and around it were dining tables (or cubicles that could probably fit 3 to 4 people - more if they were skinnier). The service was really good! We were greeted the moment we arrived and our drink orders were immediately taken. There was around twelve in our party, but that didn't hinder the speed of the service. The food was also great. Our boss ordered Deep Fried Oreos and everyone said it tasted really good - I had to abstain because of my doctor's orders to stay away from sweets. But my main order, a Mushroom Swiss Burger was really good! And the side of french fries was really commendable! Plus the price is reasonable for the quantity and quality of the food. If you are in the area, you should give Kick 'N Mule a try...

Got together with one of my oldest friends to watch the Bears game. The place was empty, several TV screens showing multiple sports channels. We took a seat at huge wrap around bar to place our order. I was craving chicken and waffles, my buddy had French toast. The food was surprising good. The waffles fluffy and the chicken tender. By the time we finished eating, the place was packed. The Bears won and the beer was cold. Here's to another round. I'll be back

I wanted to go somewhere new and I live love mule. So many mule options and don't forget about happy hour. We kept the drinks flowing and the tasties food. There was a long wait for our second round of drinks and main course. There was a mishap of our order being put in but we got free dessert! I was happy there was a veggie party sub for the burgers. Did not like the ungodly amount of mayo on my burger. My friend really enjoyed his melt. The drinks were yummy. My favorite was the cherry one. The cheesecake was banging. I almost needed to be rolled out after being so full. The location is out there! But lots of seating inside and out. I'd go again if a friend would like to go.

    Fun Halloween backbar.

One tip: make a reservation in advance. We were able to skip the long line, which made getting in quick and easy. My party of four was seated on the patio, but honestly, there's really no bad seat in the house. Tom's has TVs everywhere, so you'll have a great view of the game no matter where you're sitting. For food, we ordered the spinach and artichoke dip, fries, fried pickles, and I grabbed a beer. Everything was tasty, but the standouts were definitely the fries and fried pickles. The fries came out piping hot, crispy, and fresh, making them surprisingly one of my favorite items of the meal. I will say the prices are on the higher side, but for a big sporting event, I think it's well worth it. The atmosphere was amazing, the crowd made the experience even more fun, and the service was exceptional. Even though the restaurant was absolutely packed, our food came out quickly, and our server checked on us frequently throughout the game. Overall, I'd highly recommend Tom's for your next watch party. Between the atmosphere, plenty of TVs, solid food, and attentive service, it's a great place to catch a big game.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but our experience at Tom's Bar was extremely disappointing…read more We made reservations well in advance, paid ahead of time, and even arrived more than an hour early. We were third in line for the reservation queue, so we expected that arriving early would help us get decent seating. Instead, we were assigned seats on the open patio directly in the blazing sun. The patio umbrellas weren't working, making the seating area unbearably hot on a warm afternoon. We politely asked if we could be moved to another table, but the staff was unwilling to accommodate us. When general admission opened, we even offered to give up our reserved seats and move into the general admission section instead. Despite there being an opportunity to make that happen, our request was again denied. After only 15-20 minutes, we had no choice but to leave because the conditions were simply unbearable. Paying in advance, arriving early, and still receiving the worst seats--with no willingness to help find a reasonable solution--made for a very frustrating experience. Customer service is about solving problems when they arise. Unfortunately, that didn't happen here, and it left us with a very poor impression of Tom's Bar. We missed a good part of the World Cup Finals which was the main purpose of going there. Costed us in fee and parking and lots of unnecessary anxiety!

There could have been a lot more lettuce. I would order it again. Mulita $7.55 regular price. $5 during happy hour, we sadly missed happy hour by minutes: stuffed corn tortilla, choice of meat, melted cheese ,with sour cream and guacamole on the side. I don't recall there being guacamole on the side, I think they put it in it. The Mulita was chuck full of meat, it was overflowing. It was very tasty. Though very messy. It's hard to eat with your hands alone. We cut it up into small pieces and ate it with our hands. We'd order it again. The ambiance was good. People were cheering for the USA. It was a fun environment. Subdued compared to other watch parties we've been too, but it was still nice.
