If I were to judge this against other McDonald's, this particular McDonald's location is what you should expect. It is a newer looking McDonald's and is just off of Interstate 75, so it is a convenient stop for travelers, plus, it shares a driveway with a Gate gas station, so you can tie in filling up your vehicle with filling up your belly. The staff here was friendly enough and I believe most of us are familiar with the McDonald's menu. It has your typical McDonald's ambiance. I have visited this restaurant several times--why I go back I have no idea. Service is CONSITENTLY slow. 20 minutes--I timed it--for a Big Mac? More often than not either the order is wrong , they are "out of" something or "our drink machine is broken" . Employees have an attitude like they are doing you a favor by serving you. Always a bad sign when they can't hear you at the speaker and the say "huh?" It's McDonalds, so you can never expect much, but this location fails to deliver on already low expectations. Waited 25 minutes in the drive through and was told we were waiting for fresh food and when the food came out they gave us 18 cold nuggets instead. 20 piece nugget and each box had 9 cold nuggets. Ordered two large fries and didn't get either. Went back inside and they gave us one large fry. $25 later and short a $5 fry my wife came back outside almost in tears they were so rude inside. Clean, quiet, friendly, and free wifi: good stop on the drive home. Service was a little slow, which seemed strange since only a few people were ahead of us. But the drive through was busy during this Coronavirus time. We also hoped that they were taking their time so as to ensure higher safety standards. Ice was plentiful at one drink station. No ice at the machines on the left. The table tops were clean, and we had our pick of tables. Only three other patrons were eating inside - the rest took their orders to go. Our Big Macs were hot and juicy. They were worth the wait. Before leaving, I used the women's bathroom. It had a large stall for those who needed room, and two standard stalls. They were all clean, with toilet paper. The soap, water, and hand dryers were all good. Husband used his bathroom. Said it was okay. We're glad we stopped here to eat. read more

We stopped here during our road trip from Atlanta to Orlando during the last full week of 2020 to use the restroom and get something to snack on. Wow! There sure isn't that much around this area after getting off I-75! McDonald's fit the bill. Restroom was decent. Decided to just get a drink, so it was a quick transaction. I often complain that my local McDonald's is the worst, but this location is fighting to take that title. After waiting in the drive-thru line for over 12 minutes we still did not have our food. We were never asked to pull up and wait for our food. Instead, there were, according to my rearview mirror, at least five more cars behind us that were also waiting for their food. At neither of the drive-thru windows were we ever thanked for our purchase or told to have a good day. While there were employees involved this is a management issue more than anything. read more

The new McDonald's. 10 employees standing around inside the kitchen without even looking at you. Two computer terminals that you have to check yourself out on and pay for yourself in this location. Zero taste in the burgers, and the french fries are limp and unsalted. I had dehydrated pork patty MREs in Desert Storm that tasted better than this. The floors and the tables filthy. The only thing dirtier were the bathrooms. I left out those photos so not to be so graphic. I truly cannot even come close to articulating what a disgusting meal and experience I just had. I hate to give negative reviews, in fact if you follow anything that I've done on yelp you'll see that it's only positive reviews. They should fire the managers and they should fine the franchise owner. The upside? I'll never eat at McDonald's again. I think they're starting these kids out at $18 an hour to do absolutely nothing but stand around and give crappy service while you now have to clean your own table and order your own food on a computer tablet. After trying three different McDonald's on Christmas Day 2022, and finding them all closed*, we were getting very hangry on our road trip to Tennessee (Sausage Biscuits are a tradition on a road trip!). We saw a billboard for the one in White Springs and Hubs said, "let's just try one more..." I fully expected them to be closed, but lo and behold, they were open! Road Trip saved from the hangriness! It was mildly busy, with maybe 4-5 cars ahead of us in the drive-thru, but they moved the customers through quickly. Our order was taken quickly and courteously, and when we got to the window, both the cashier and the "hander-outer" were both in great spirits, very friendly, and didn't seem "put out" to have to work on Christmas Day. There's so many one-star reviews, I'm beginning to think everyone was just REALLY in the Christmas Spirit, and we got lucky! (*I'm glad that so many locations were closed so that staff could be home for Christmas, but I feel like this was something that would have been worthy of a press release or blurb... McDonald's as always been a "we're always open!" kind of place on holidays when other places close... Kind of an Old Faithful place). read more

This place was so dirty. It was 8 pm on a Sunday. The bathrooms had piss all over the floors. Clearly they had not been cleaned all day. The smell alone was overwhelming. It was so bad I went back out to the car to get my camera to take pictures. The fry station and the sandwich prep area were so filthy and food all over the floor. I will say that our order came out correct and the food was average for McDonalds. Don't get me wrong, I like McDonalds. Ok, this is a must read. Pulled off I 10 in Florida heading north to grab a bite at the old trusty McDonalds and we were turned away along with other because..... "We are sorry for the inconvenience, but due to a large over the counter order we are not taking orders any longer". I went their on a Saturday at 10. Waited 30 minutes to order breakfast and was told no breakfast, even though website says served to 11 on Saturdays. We skipped Wendy's at a previous exit and decided upon this McDonalds. The cashier took our order and got it horribly wrong. She charged us for two BBQ Smokehouse burger meals when we only ordered one BBQ Bacon Burger meal. I told the cashier that we only ordered one and she asked if I wanted a refund! Well, why wouldn't I want my $8.00 refund!?!?!? I ordered a Artisan grilled chicken meal with a side salad. She rung up French fries with "special request" listed underneath. I asked about that and she assured me it was a salad. Guess what? I got fries! The bathrooms were AWFUL. They didn't just mop the floors. They left puddles of water all over the floor with the mop bucket and mop & a few wet floor signs. They closed off two stalls and the one that was open was GROSS. It had toilet paper all over the floor, the toilet had stains all down it like it hadn't been cleaned in months. As i sit here through the drive through for a second time I am just blow away by the awful service. For starters the woman first taking my order made me wait after every item to add then another person jumped on . Order confused and then requesting two single pancakes like I do probably a minimum of three times a week for my son , never had an issue but this single McDonalds doesn't do it ? I don't usually give bad reviews about places I have visited however I think I should forewarn other potential patrons. First of all it took a REALLY LONG time to get my food. Over 25 minutes ... one order .. only 3 cars ahead of me. I've been to this location 4 times before. Same thing.. no matter what time I go. No greeting....no goodbye..not a thanks for visiting And NO napkins!! Oh... there WAS a hair in my food though an added bonus!! Too bad because it's THE ONLY fast food around White Springs.
