This location gets a 1-star review because they almost always mess up drive through orders and they pretty much have everyone in the drive through park to artificially lower their drive through wait times. So if you're planning to "drive thru" at this location, know it will be more like, drive, park, wait 10-15 minutes, then finally get your food. This review is for 03/09/2012. How dare I write about a place that the world doesn't require or need to write about. The Golden Arches is known throughout the world with TRILLIONS served. Well, I was bound to break one day and McDonald's you were just waiting the time game with me. This McDonald's is located on the southeast side of Clinton Keith Road near the Albertson's Shopping Center. I was about to head home from Inland Valley Medical Center at 8:20pm. While I was at the hospital, I heard something about the McD Shamrock Shake. To be honest, I have never tried it and it would be a long drive home. This place is a haven for the kids since there is not much to do. I walked in and there was a bunch of teens ordering food item by item instead of value menu. The wait was about 2-3 minutes since they were thinking while ordering. They should've thought about it before ordering. When it was my turn, I ordered a Small Shamrock Shake ($1.89) and then my stomach growled at me. I saw a special for Filet-O-Fish for $1.49. So, I just ordered one. My total was $3.64. I believe McDonald's uses the same machine as the McFlurry and I already loved seeing the green mixture with whip cream and a cherry on top. That Shamrock Shake was delicious. The Filet-o-Fish was pretty good as well despite me not having it many years. Overall, it was OK, but not great to visit McDonald's. Unfortunately, I wish I could a three-star rating, but the server forgot to put my drink in a bag and give me a straw for my shake. I had to grab my own. Dining In: - Sometimes I feel that the air conditioner is set to something like 65 degrees 365 days a year. - On late hours, staff does not clean the tables often. We've seen a table with trash when we came in the restaurant, still there when we went out. - No problems ordering inside so far. - Only one television inside the restaurant for entertainment. Drive-Thru: - Double drive through lanes is great for those busy hours. - 70% of the time the person taking our order cannot understand what we are ordering (example: ordered large fries, screen displays large sprite). - Accuracy of drive-thru so far has been 99% without mistake (took out 1% for those times when there was not enough or no condiments given). Overall, you should know what McDonalds is all about. This McDonalds is not too special. read more

First off let me say that I have been a McDonalds customer for years. I have seen the good and the bad changes throughout the years. I have tried to remain loyal however this particular store is really testing my patients. Every so often we hit the drive through with the kids when we are trying to quickly get on the road. This store is right down the street and next to the freeway which makes it convenient. We have a little one that has a dairy allergy so we have to always get him a hamburger....obviously without cheese. I would say that they are at about 75% at putting cheese on the burger. The receipt says hamburger....I don't understand what the issue is. So of course now I have to park, go in, and get a correctly made burger. Someone else mentioned charging for the condiments. I agree that this store is horrible. I call BS on the "it's the corporation" that makes us do it. The Temecula store has NEVER charged me for any condiment I have asked for. Plus when you ask they make you feel horrible for asking...they just glare at you and toss it in the bag. Today was the final straw. I ordered a quarter pounder meal with extra pickles and onions. I was shocked when the drive through person confirmed that I was okay with paying .25 cents extra for extra onion slivers...are you friggin kidding me?!? For extra onion slivers? I said no way. They did however give me a sweet and sour sauce at no charge....I just don't understand this place. read more

Clean restaurant. Didn't have a problem ordering... Although my food didn't taste as appetizing as I expected it to be, I don't know maybe it's just me. Stopped here for breakfast on the way heading north. The menu was a bit confusing because they had their non-breakfast menu up when I pulled through the drive thru. I ordered a sausage mc muffin meal. The sandwich was delicious, but when I ate the hash brown it wasn't very crisp and to my horror there was a piece of chicken or some other meat in it. No surprise this store has such bad reviews. I haven't received such bad service at a McDonald's since I lived in Europe. Their customer service is awful. Got a large fry to go and they gave us no ketchup. Had to go back up front to an unattended counter and the employee looked very annoyed when I asked for ketchup and threw it in our bag and walked away without eye contact. Strange thing happened to me at this place. I ordered a Big Mac meal in the drive through. When I pulled up to pay with my debit card, I was asked for my Identification Card. The strange part of this is that the debit card I used has my picture on it. Just to be a little burdensome, I made sure my finger was covering most of my name on the ID card. I like McDonald's breakfast ( McGriddle ) with bacon. However this morning I ordered some sausage burritos for my daughter, and specifically requested extra salsa packets. Not only did we not get the extra salsa packets, we got none. This is not the first time this McDonald's has messed up our orders. The only reason we return to this McDonald's is because it's the only one nearby. They are horrible at getting the orders correct. Over the years they just keep messing up them orders. HEALTH ALERT!!! Contaminated fries served at 11:15 am today. Health Alert! They took my cold fries that had saliva on them and mixed them in with the new fries and started serving them! We went to this McDonald's for lunch, the drive thru line was moving very slow! We waited about 10 minutes to order, then another 5 minutes to get the window to pay just for them to ask us if we had cash because their Card system was down. SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE The drive thru is ridiculous!! About 70% of the time there is a mistake with my order. Mistakes I can deal with but the reason for this post is specific to my most recent visit. We ordered and then had to pull to the side and wait for an additional 10 minutes only to find they gave us the complete wrong order. After coming in to address the issue we waited another 6 minutes before I walked up and ask to speak with a manager. When Angela the manager approached me she acted as if I made a mistake to HER order and made her wait several minutes to be acknowledged. She was very short and very rude. She didnt take responsibility and did lend a gesture of apology for the mistakes. She is the only reason i am writing this review. The staff was simply doing their best and was very apologetic to make it right. I know it's just a drive thru McDonalds and not a 5 star restaurant but regardless of you pay $1 or $100 good service especially from the leader of staff is nonnegotiable. If you can go to a different location I encourage you to do so especially if you are pressed for time. read more

The service was very slow for the lunch crowd inside while the crew buzzed to keep the drive thru moving. It took me 14 minutes after I finished ordering to get my food and I didn't order anything special. I guess they know which side of the restaurant keeps the lights on. This location must be under new ownership. That must be why ALL the competent and friendly staff/management disappeared overnight. The new owner has to be the cheapest person on the planet, taking forever to fix the broken display in the drive-thru and seemingly not hiring enough (competent) employees to handle the large amount of customers coming through. Excessive wait times, incorrect orders, cold food and surly attitudes are what you can expect if you come to this location. I rarely come here anymore due to the complete mismanagement of this place. Hopefully this location is following all the County health requirements when it comes to food storage/prep, cleanliness and COVID but judging by how they treat their customers and the condition the food is in when received it's definitely a concern. read more

Not happy with my visit, because I ordered a quarter pounder. The meat is so tasty, but they didn't tell me they were out of the meat. Instead I was given 2 buns with with 2 patties from a Big Mac. It came in a Quarter Pounder box, so they were VERY aware without telling me. Yuck!!!!! read more

This place was decent until they just changed there menu, I went to order a caramel macchiato one of there new items and they gave me a half filled container of one shot of coffee, the rest milk. So I go inside an explain to them that this isn't what I had ordered, so they took it back and added more milk to it! You guys I'm sorry are terrible. And if I could give a lower rating I would.
