Every single time I go, it is insanely packed and takes forever, including last time. They are extremely understaffed, having one worker going back and forth from the register and the back. I only ordered 10 nuggets and a small fry inside the store. When I first arrived, the drive-thru was almost onto the street, so I went inside the store instead, and it wasn't as packed. Bad mistake! It took so long inside for such an easy order. The parking lot does not have enough spots! Half of the spots are for pickup orders only, leaving barely any spots for people who want to park and walk in. I guess everyone and their mother wants McDonalds on a Wednesday night at 8 pm! All Mcdonald's seem to be this way lately, even the one near me in New Rochelle. read more

2.5 STARS (today & most days) 3 - 4 STARS (occasionally but not often enough) 1 STAR (for the stupidest location for a drive-thru, the passenger side)! 5 STARS (yesterday because they had my husband waiting & waiting for our takeout b'fast & someone was nice enough to thrown in an apple pie for the inconvenience). Very good customer service practices but it probably does not happen too often. Not in our experience anyhow... I'm writing this update because it's just one thing after another with this place. Yesterday was the exception but today was just ridiculous. My hubby normally runs on a Saturday morn for our McD's bfast. This week we decided to have it again this morning (Sunday). He ordered (1) Sausage McMuffin meal & the 2 for $6 which was to consist of (1) Sausage McMuffin & (1) Bacon, Egg & Cheese biscuit. Gets home to find they gave us (2) of the BEC biscuits instead so I ended up giving him my Sausage McMuffin because he was not running back over there in the pouring rain! I know this isn't a fun job by any stretch of the imagination but as sucky as it is there is a service that is being provided so there should be some care taken when giving paying customers their orders. This weekend was a good weekend for their coffee which is very inconsistent. One time my husband arrived with a cup that was warmish, not hot. He wasn't sure what happened. Recently I went in on a day off during the week & I saw the woman behind the counter pour the coffee from one of those silver carafe's sitting on the side. When she handed the cup to me I could tell it was nowhere near piping hot but she disappeared so fast I was unable to ask for a replacement. I opened & tested it & felt it would be good enough so I just left it at that. This was NOT on a busy morning either. Just be aware they must empty the machine to make fresh coffee & give unsuspecting customers this carafe coffee just so they don't throw any away. For quite some time, not sure when they started this but I think after coffee prices were creeping up, they began giving less coffee after increasing their own price. They now normally only fill as high as the "fill line" or sometimes below it. When I go in myself to order I tell them to please make sure they give me a full cup but the person at the register just says ok & never relays the message. Meanwhile, half the time, they are away from the register doing other things. On one occasion the person who rang me up went to personally make my coffee ... But normally they just yes me to get rid of me I guess. Luckily, this morning, I was able to swap the sandwich with my husband even though I don't like the biscuit sandwiches & did not want the bacon but not everyone can just eat anything. That's why they need to be more careful with what they are doing & giving to the customer. I guess I'll end with this advice to all including us - CHECK YOUR ORDERS!!! read more

Don't bother ordering ahead. Wasted 30 min from the drive through to waiting inside because they couldn't find record of my order even though I had a receipt emailed to me and my card was charged. Will stick with the other locations next time where pick up has never been a problem while using the app. read more

Ordered three hash browns and a SIDE of bacon.. I spent 11 bucks to get two cold pieces of bacon?!? I went back inside to complain and they said that a side of bacon is two pieces. I really hate to be that guy but come on really I paid almost 12 bucks for this meal and it was cold and slimy to might I add. I placed a mobile order at this restaurant and experienced the worst service at a McDonalds ever! After placing my mobile order and my payment was debited I chose the drive thru. When I arrive the person at the window, who is dressed as a manager, asks me my order number at least five times. After sometime he tells me that my order number is incorrect. He makes no attempt to resolve the issue even after I tell him that my money has already been debited for the order. A woman appears at the window who seems to want to help. She confirmed that she was aware that my order was paid for but evidently the mobile ordering service has not been working properly at their location. I was thankful that someone at this location was able to help resolve my issue without me being inconvenienced further. The gentleman dress as a manger definitely needs to be retrained or given duties that he can actually handle. read more

Mixed emotions with this one since it's McDonald's..... This place is a gold mine for the owner - it's usually busy here both day and night. There are times the parking lot is packed and the drive thru line is long and out in the street. Inside feels like and is a zoo at times and you may or may not find an adequate or clean place to sit. The only reason that this gets three stars from me, are from those rare two-three times a year I feel like punishing my stomach. It's McDonald's "food". They can disguise it or gimmick it anyway their marketing department wants to, but their "food" is simply fast food and just not good for you aside from occasionally. The "food" at this location is usually made better than other locations (if you can even say that) and aside from the punishment my insides get, there has never been a problem with the "quality" when I've ordered from here - be it breakfast or non-breakfast. Speaking of breakfast, you can apparently get it all day long now - which is something I've said for over two decades before they ever executed it. I haven't been to a McDonald's since they changed that last October, but am anxious to eventually have one of those bacon egg & cheese biscuits in the afternoon. None of it is healthy for you (despite their signage), but it's a taste for occasions. Inside, the condiment/drink area can be an un-sanitized mess. They really should keep certain things behind the counter since the general public can't be trusted with such simple things without making a mess and being careless, sloppy, messy, and having a lack of courtesy for the next person. This includes drinks as well. Tables can also be gross and I once went to use the bathroom quickly over a decade ago and was so put off by the mess inside, that I'd rather go in my pants than to ever set foot inside their "bathroom" again. Say what you will about their employees (and others like them) who want $15 an hour (lol). I don't agree with it as a whole, but this isn't the forum to discuss the many disagreements I have with that basic and entry level jobs. The employees here are usually decent enough - some friendly, some not, some slow, some not, some speak English, some don't. They do what they're paid to do as they should. The drive thru is unique as to where it's very helpful to have a passenger with you since the window is on the passenger side (you order from the driver side). The line and wait can be long at various times of the day and night. The parking lot is sometimes riddled with undesirables, but that's mostly at night. I think they changed some aspects of that since the last time I was here late - I don't even think their drive thru hours are 24 hours anymore on Friday/Saturday nights - but you may want to check on that one. And ALWAYS check your bag if you order drive thru before you drive away. Always. They have a large play area for kids that they constructed here many years ago. I would probably have a bottle of sanitizer ready and a watchful eye if you let your child play inside there. I've never let my child play in there, but a lot of parents do. It can get loud and chaotic at times. So all in all a McDonald's. If you happen to be around near this one and are in the mood for their menu, then there are far worse locations than this one. read more

I normally wouldn't waste a moment of my time to review a McDonald's but I just drove away from the drive thru empty handed. The incompetence and rude demeanor of the employee half-ass taking my order did nothing but annoy me. Before I was fully annoyed I was being told that all they gave us chicken nuggets and drinks?!?! She literally said "you can pull away now," in the middle of me trying to figure out if there was anything else that they had as I was in disbelief that after most of my order was taken, it was switched to all we have is chicken nuggets and watched the items start deleting off the screen! This place is so unorganized it's amazing that anything you order is done right. The cashiers are clueless and untrained it's like they have no idea what they sell. Not to be mean but if they don't understand the language don't put them as a cashier and then you have to repeat your order over again. I've known this place since it first opened. No complaints about the food or service, it's pretty much your typical McDonalds. The one inconvenient aspect, though, is how their drive-thru window is on the passenger's side, which makes it pretty awkward to exchange the money and food if you're driving alone. read more

this location in yonkers on yonkers ave is my go to quick stop when i am on my way to and from empire casino. a quick soda or frappe or maybe some large fries with no salt and i am on my way and its always via drive thru . the only strange thing is the set up of the drive thru which must have been designed by someone who has been driving and living in england ( steering wheel is on opposite side). the service is usually quick and polite with no major issue , unless no ketchup with fries in bag gets you steamed ( unless you ask they will not give you ketchup, its a policy since the 90s i was told). i have never set foot inside to grab a bite or get a drink but from the looks of the characters that stumble in, my streak of not going in will continue . i just ordered a large diet coke and yogurt parfait via the cuckoo set up drive thru and went from driver to passenger in a snap, damn i wish i had longer arms , its no easy leaning across to grab a large drink and try not to spill a drop. ok finally got my stuff and on my way to empire casino. p.s. they forgot to give me a straw(damn, damn, damn, ). read more
