FLAGSHIP* SHOP SERVICE * Flagship Meaning - A product or…read moreservice that is functional, beautiful, perfected over the years By Andrew Laboy April 3, 2026 Integrity, commitment, honesty, and customer service. These qualities are the facets that reinforce my trust and brand loyalty. For the past decade, despite living 45 minutes away, I've preferred driving or towing my car there instead of using a nearby mechanic. Even on the most hectic of days, the front-desk staff always welcome you with a cheerful smile. The BOSS, Howard, is very kind and will recommend only the necessary actions that you must take to fix or maintain your car. FROM THEIR OWN WORDS: Fair Repair Auto Care is dedicated to helping our community keep their vehicles running smoothly while saving money. We understand how essential your car is for daily routines, whether it's taking children to school or commuting to work. That's why we're here for all your maintenance and repair needs--from oil changes and brake service to engine and transmission repairs or replacements.

I left my car there and they said they would look at it then charged me $500 for a service I didn't even ask for (diagnostic test) and kicked my car off the lot saying they did not have space to look at it any further. Seems like a scam shop to me Disappointed if I could give zero stars I would

My daughter's alternator stopped working. My husband used to be a mechanic, so he started…read moreresearching the job. We are 3.5 hours away and it requires removing AC lines to get to it, so we opt to take it to a shop. We take it to Christian Brothers to have it replaced. They quoted $2500 to do the job which my husband stated was very high. We called a different shop and asked for a quote. They quoted $1300. As we were discussing towing her car to the new shop, Christian Brothers, stated they would match the new quote. While we were suspicious about this, we accepted. They called the next day trying to say they were worried they would break the AC line removing it and wanted my husband to approve a $700 increase to the quote, just in case. Nope. He gave them multiple suggestions on how to remove it without breaking it and told them to call us if they did break it. They didn't end up breaking it. When we got the bill it had unapproved charges on it. They did remive them after we pointed them out. Fast forward 4 weeks later, her car starts acting like the alternator is failing again. We have it towed back to the shop. We only took back there since they did the previous work and it was under warranty. Now apparently the crank shaft is leaking on the serpentine belt causing it to slip. They quoted us $1000. We just got the bill and again it was more than the quoted price and not just a little bit, $500 more. If it wasn't for my husband's car knowledge my poor daughter would have been taken to the cleaners by this shop. I don't want anyone else to have to deal with this.

I can't say enough good things about this place! Honest team, friendly service and great…read morecommunication. Called them to try and troubleshoot some issues I was having with my AC, and wheel bearings. They were helpful over the phone and in person. They were also able to replace my ABS sensor. Keith and Michael especially, communicated with me about pricing estimates, when the parts would be there, and provided me with updates when needed and when the parts were delayed. They didn't nickel and dime me for each little thing- very fair pricing. They were flexible with me around my schedule. Great service, I'll be using this shop for any future car needs. 10/10.
