He enjoyed his duck wings. This place is charming, and fairly spacious for a bar. Additionally, the bathrooms were clean and easy to use. I ordered the turkey and brie sandwich, because reading it on the menu outside was what had originally drawn me into the restaurant, and a cup of the French Onion soup rather than getting the fries that came with. The soup was up first, and it was delightful- nice, hardy chunks of onion without being too big/sliding off my spoon, a well developed broth, and a fantastic amount of cheese. The sandwich was lovely, great slices of turkey and decently sized pieces of brie and apple to go along with it. Unfortunately, when I went to get the second half of my sandwich, I noticed what looked like a dark beard hair on it.... as I was dining alone, and my long hair was tied up, definitely not mine. I called over my server, and I pointed it out to her... she asked if I wanted to have a new sammie or get it taken off the bill. I asked if I could pay for the soup, since I had finished it, but not the sammie and she absolutely agreed to that. I wrapped up my meal and left to keep going on my day.
