I've been here so many times: for my 17th birthday, randomly with friends, fundraisers, and just for fun! Every time everything as been great. Even variety of ball weights and the place is decently clean. Bathrooms can use a little more work, but you can't expect much from a bowling alley. read more

Been coming here for years on rare occassions. Some nights they have 1 dollar beers. Also midnight bowling is more expensive than during the week. But also midnight bowling is worth the extra cash with the low lighting on the weekends and the music blaring. can get crowded on weekends when waiting for a lane to open up. read more

Very poor customer service. This location is not a place for kids or teenagers. I witnessed an incident of an adult yelling at a young man for taking his ball. Security did not intervene and neither did any of the staff there. The lights were turned on and people were staring as the man cursed profanity. They eventually left. Went to the bar with my cousin bar tender didn't even greet us because he was on his phone 5 minutes after we got our beers the security yelled that we had to go back to the bar because we couldn't have our beer out on the lanes. Waited patiently for 30 for 9pm and the door to open....but wait...36 minutes later we are barely in doors. They get people wrist bans at the speed of snails. At this rate, we will get a to pay at 10. How does it take an hour to take money from approximately 25 people?...but wait... maybe because they have not entered the age of debit and credit cards!! Too much oil on the lanes, snack bar is ridiculously expensive, shoes were in horrible condition, $33 for two people (with shoe rental) for 1 hour, overworked and understaffed employees. Only reason I gave it two stars instead of one is because the scoring/monitor electronics are pretty cool. read more

We love this place! They people who work there have always been friendly and encouraging. The snack bar is good and priced fair. We only go during the day 6ish at the latest so I can't speak to their evenings however during the day it's very family friendly and doesn't feel bar like. The gentleman at the pro shop is so helpful and doesn't try to up sale. read more

Sometimes it is really busy but that because its such a good place to bowl, I bowl on a league there and everybopdy is really friendly and helpful when there is a problem. 3 games for under 10 dollars, you just cant beat that price for 3 hours of entertainment. read more

They charge by player and shoe rentals, which is normal,but they charge by the hour instead of per game. $25 an hour per lane!! Your ally will close in the middle of the game!! Paid $150 total with 11 players. We paid regular price for my 3 y/o nephew and the ball ramps are only available to those on a wheelchair. Not the best play for a family game night. read more

The kid at the front desk on July 31st 2017 in the evening had a stink attitude and wasn't very patient with us. I'm sorry kid but this is your job so the least you could do is act like you have some sort of respect for customers. I work in customer service all day and yeah it's not easy but I assure you we did not want to talk to you we just wanted to bowl. I hope someone from there actually reads this so they can bring attention to his poor attitude. Went here bowling with my husband and two boys and had a blast! They were having the special night time bowling event with the music and lighting effects.....pretty cool. It was crowded and a bit pricey and there were a lot of people , but we got a lane and it turned out to be a lot of fun! I wish I could do a separate review foe the bowling alley and the pizza cafe. Bowling alley was fine and clean. Nice screens with graphics. Wasn't crowded on a Monday night. Ordered a pizza which was really good and fresh but the people working there were extremely rude. Wouldn't cash a hundred on about $40 worth of pizza even though I could see they had plenty of change. Made me go wait in line for fifteen minutes at the front desk. I asked for a receipt and they wouldn't give me one. They must have a hard time finding help to have those 2 working there. I'll take my own pizza in next time. read more

I gave it ONE star becuase of my experience with management. I tried getting one those ball ramps for my kids ( ages 2, and 4) and they refuse to give me one. I told them that the balls were too heavy for my kids and that I would pay a deposit or leave a card and or ID as a deposit. He said no becuase my kids arent handy cap. I pleaded with with him, and told him my kids might dropped the ball and smashed their toes, He didnt care! This was a liability! I made them aware, tried to fix the problem and was ignored. I rate this a 5-star establishment for people with kids. They have a wonderful program for children, complete with weekly bowling, parties, special occasions with snacks and prizes. Great Place if you come at the right time. with so many leagues bowling, don't show up and expect there to be a open lane. If you happen to come at the right time( off hours( early afternoon/ morning) when prices are a little cheaper and lanes are plenty then this is a great place. If you go during prime hours you should call ahead and make sure there isn't a league bowl going on, and then expect to wait some for a lane, then expect to pay steeply per bowler. read more

Love this place!! Managers, bartenders all the workers are super friendly and helpful! Drinks are cheap and there leagues are a lot of fun! Lots of lanes! I have taken friends who live out of town there and they were impressed how nice it is and how nice it is to have so many lanes. Wouldn't go anywhere else! I rented shoes and after ten minutes they started itching so we took them off, there were a lot of people that were bowling with regular shoes so I thought it would be ok. The staff really need to hone in on some customer service skills, being Mr. Marsh is a public figure in our wonderful little city the atmosphere and vibe of who he employees in his establishment reflects upon his decision making skills, at least in my personal opinion. The lanes are a bit outdated and worn, but bowling is always expected fun. I was disappointed they crammed so many families together when they did have the apparent space to spread everyone out comfortably, of course this was expected as the ones left in charge could really care less after all its just a job of spraying dirty shoes and feeling important from doing the task. I was displeased with many written signs of no vaping and how vaping is classified as a tobacco product, this simple poorly researched spread of information in a bowling alley owned by a public figure for the city helped determine that the next city votes will be for the other guy. How you run your business reflects on how you run a city reflects on who you are. All personal opinion aside I will still continue to patronage this establishment because the other local alternative is several steps below this place. read more

Well, here goes my first Yelp review. We came here with our girls for a family day. It was NOT a good experience. Every other turn the ball would get stuck and we had to call someone over. We had bumpers for the kids and we had to manually pull or own bumpers up when it was their turn... EVERY SINGLE TIME! The thing that swipes the pins out of the way after you bowl kept getting stuck as well. As if that wasn't enough, half way through our last game (that took forever thanks to these issues) we were asked to move because, the leagues were there to play. I understand they needed the lanes but we would have been out of the way long before that had we not had to deal with crappy lanes. We will NOT be back! I would rather drive 15 to 20 minutes to Manteca for better lanes and better service. Those poor kids working there looked miserable and flustered. read more

I went there with a group of 7 people. I called before hand to ask them if we wanted to do the "Monte Carlo " deal what time should we be there, she told me between 5:30pm-6pm. *deal consist of 3 games for $19 with shoes included. We showed up at 5:30pm, they told us that they are all filled up and the waiting list is until 7. We waited there until 7 to be told we still have to wait after the people that were reserved lanes. Keep in mind the same 6 lanes that were reserved since 530 when we showed up. We finally got a one even though we needed two. The manager was very rude and could of acted more professional. Horrible service. Went there this afternoon with my girlfriend, friend, his 7 year old daughter, and my 11 year old son. We asked for a lighter ball for my friends 7 year old and started our game. Three turns in, enter middle aged male employee that asked us where the we got the lighter ball in a rude tone. We told him we got it from the lady at the counter since we have a seven year old with us. He insisted on taking the ball from us and replacing it with a heavier ball. Even after telling him she had a hard time with the heavier ball, he told us he was going to take it again and she would have to use the heavier ball. I know it's only two pounds different, but she really couldn't throw it down the lane. Afterwards, my friend and I promptly walked up to the counter and asked for a refund. The lady at the counter knew what was happening already since the guy the took the ball from a seven year old went up there right after and chewed her out. They lost my business today. Not a family friendly environment. From now on I'm sticking to Yosemite bowl. At least they don't take bowling balls from kids. read more

I love going to a nice friendly bowling alley. Since I was visiting some friends in Turlock, they took me to McHenry to bowl. This place was definitely not what I expected. When we got there for Midnight bowling my friends and I were excited to have some brews and bowl. Well, the bartender told us we couldn't have drinks because there is kids around. So we asked if we once we get our ones if we could get a pitcher. The bartender said no and that the only way we could have a pitcher is if we all sat at the bar. We were standing in line for midnight bowling so sitting at the bar was not ideal. Once we got our lane, we noticed a gentlemen a couple lanes away was able to get a pitcher and not sit at the bar. So if you don't want equal treatment, this is the place to do. Also, if you are an adult or an inexperienced bowler who can't throw a 9 lb bowling ball I would not go here because they WILL try there best not to accommodate you. My friend was having difficulty throwing a 9 lb and asked for a lighter ball because her wrist was hurting and they refused to give her a ball because she wasn't a child. I then came up and asked for a lighter ball and there was a lady who said "Who is it for?" in a rude tone and I could tell she didn't want to give up a lighter ball so I simply told her someone whose wrist is hurting with the 9lb ball and she rolled her eyes and said the lightest I can do is an 8lb ball. I'm an avid bowler and this is the FIRST place I ever received such customer service at a bowling alley and FIRST time I ever heard of a bowling place that does not have 6-8lb balls readily available for those who need it. read more

HORRIBLE PLACE! First of all, the place stinks as soon as you walk-in. Secondly, the lanes are in desperate need of repair and update. We went in on a Saturday evening, paid for one game, and went about our lane. The lane of course wasn't working. After numerous attempts to call for help, we finally got someone to come take a look at it. Of course, the guy was incredibly rude and barely spoke two words to us. We finally got moved to another lane. The 2nd lane had all the pins, but would not let us enter our names. We finally gave up and just started bowling hoping that it would work. It started working, but missed one of the member's score for the first round so that was a bummer. After our game, we decided to play air hockey. One of the machines was out of order. We played on the 2nd one, but alas that was broken as well. There was no pressure or force or resistance (whatever you call it) to keep the puck moving. The puck would just stop in the middle of the field. There goes our $1. I refuse to come back here. It was absolutely horrific. read more
