I want to give a shout-out to the entire staff at Lodi Bowling! My family and I visited this weekend, and we had an amazing time from start to finish. First, I want to recognize the security team. I had a question, and the big guy with the beard officer Scott was incredibly helpful. Seeing security on-site made my family feel much safer. When alcohol is being served, you can never be too careful, and it's nice to know they take everyone's safety seriously. The music and overall atmosphere were outstanding it was a fun, welcoming environment for all ages. Our waitress, I believe her name was Ari, was friendly, attentive, and made sure we had everything we needed. Our food came out hot, tasted great, and the service was excellent. We've also hosted a birthday party here before, and I highly recommend their banquet hall. The food was amazing, the service was even better, and the pricing was very reasonable. We celebrated our daughter's volleyball championship win with the St. Anne's team here, such a great place. The pizza was amazing easily some of the best around and the drinks were really good. Love that we can order our food and drinks at the table side . It makes the whole experience so seamless and allowed us to focus on the celebration rather than waiting in lines. Update: Desiree followed up with us and offered two options to make things right. We could either receive unlimited bowling or get a full refund. When we initially came in, she also offered us a complimentary lunch, which we unfortunately couldn't stay for at the time. I appreciate the effort to resolve the situation and the willingness to make it right. I rarely leave reviews, but this experience was bad enough that I feel people should know. My husband and I came in for a date night and specifically asked for the $20 unlimited bowling option. Instead, the manager, Jacob, charged us per game, totaling the same price but only giving us two games. When we tried to politely clarify, he was dismissive, rude, and refused to fix what was clearly a simple mistake. What made it worse was how unprofessional the situation became. He was so focused on kicking us out that he didn't even realize we had an open tab, which I made sure to take care of myself. After I explained that it was already handled, he still told us we needed to leave immediately. We had paid for a babysitter and were really looking forward to a rare night out, and it was completely ruined by how this was handled. Mistakes happen, but poor customer service and attitude are a choice. This could have been resolved in seconds, but instead it turned into a frustrating and disappointing experience. Extremely Disappointing Experience. My family and I visited this bowling alley last night to celebrate my son's birthday, and unfortunately, what should have been a fun family celebration ended with us being embarrassed and asked to leave. This was our first time at this bowling alley, so we were unfamiliar with their specific rules. My son initially did not have bowling shoes on, and neither did my husband. My son was asked to put on bowling shoes, which he did. My husband decided not to bowl, but later, an employee actually asked him to throw a ball to retrieve another ball/pin from the gutter. He did so, and shortly afterward, we were approached by the manager, Trey, and told to leave. What was most upsetting was the way the situation was handled. There was no warning or attempt to simply explain the policy and ask my husband not to participate. Even after we explained the situation, and another employee acknowledged what had happened, Trey remained extremely patronizing and antagonizing. His demeanor, including laughing while escorting my family out, made the situation feel unnecessarily humiliating as though he was enjoying the fact that he was removing us. We were later approached by another employee who told us that she would have a higher-level manager contact us regarding compensation. I appreciate that she recognized that the situation needed to be addressed, but by that point, the experience had already ruined what was supposed to be a special birthday celebration for my son. I understand that businesses have rules, and I have no issue with being asked to follow them. However, customers especially first-time customers should be given an opportunity to understand and correct a mistake before being immediately removed, particularly when an employee had just instructed my husband to do what he did. We were told there was signage stating that bowling shoes were required, but we did not notice the signage, nor were we informed of the requirement when we entered. Clear communication and basic professionalism could have prevented this entire situation. Management needs to seriously revisit how situations like this are handled and how employees are trained to communicate with customers. The experience was embarrassing, frustrating, and completely unnecessary. We came to celebrate my son's birthday and left feeling humiliated. Unfortunately, based on this experience, we will not be returning. read more

It's nice to have a cool bowling alley in Lodi. I hope they succeed. It's quite expensive though, and they use string pins. Not something a serious bowler would play. I've had multiple pins either mistakenly removed or added back every single time I've gone. Drink prices are no joke either- $9 for a pint of Michelob or Modelo. Fun for a double date when you can split the cost of an hour but not somewhere I'd go if I enjoyed bowling more. read more

I came here with some friends for a private event, and we were upstairs in their private room. It was nice to have our own space with four bowling lanes and a pool table for those who didn't want to bowl. When we first arrived, we got bowling shoes and tried to order food (where everyone else orders food), but were told we could place our order once we got to the room with our server. That seemed fine at first. However, when the bill came, it was a bit misleading, they didn't give us an itemized breakdown, just the total on the ipad. When I asked for the receipt, I saw they had automatically added an 18% gratuity since we were a group of more than six, which didn't sit right. While we did have a server, she was nice, but the service could've been better, we often had to go find her to place orders, ask for napkins, the check 2x b/c it wasn't brought out after payment. Food-wise, we ordered: Nachos Libre - pretty good 16 oz Pacifico Wagyu Hangover Burger with added bacon - the fries were delicious, and the burger was good too We stayed in the private room the whole time and didn't explore the rest of the venue. Overall, it was a fun experience, but the automatic gratuity, intermittent service, and confusing bill were a bit frustrating. read more

We came here on a Sunday morning a little after 11am. It wasn't very busy yet which was a plus. The place is huge and looks nice inside. They had a deal for $50 per hour of bowling or $10 per game per person. We didn't get any food or drinks but I wouldn't mind going back to try that out if we visit again. read more

We were in Room #4 today celebrating a large birthday party and Ari did an outstanding job managing our large group while staying friendly, attentive, and organized. Our food came out hot and very quickly, especially considering how large our party was. Nicest and cleanest bowling alley I have seen. Bar is huge and they have full service while you bowl. The food is definitely better than expected for a bowling alley. My husband and I hosted a rehearsal dinner for 36 people upstairs in the banquet room and VIP room 1. Planning was taken care of by Antoinette. She was always available to me and had wonderful recommendations when I needed guidance. She worked with me over the course of 6 months making sure every detail was adhered to. Service was amazing. Valencia was our point person during the event and she was on task all evening. Checking in with me and taking care of any needs we had. Beef and fish entrees were delicious. Moving into the secondary room was flawless as the desserts, coffee and tables were already set up for our guests. I would highly recommend hosting an event there! Well wanted to give a 2nd try... We are going down hill. I get that it was a Thursday night but we came in after farmers market to try the place again. The menu is smaller it seems but the food is mediocre, and our food came out wrong at that. The chips were stale our burger wasn't a double there wasn't mayo added. Overall simple stuff and still paid 67 bucks for it. Also my biggest pet peeve the bartender gave us last call for food and drinks before our dinner even came out. I understand that the hours you close is at 9 but then don't let us sit and order if you are going to shut the bar down minutes after we sit down. Still a great venue and has a TON of potential but clearly the food and beverage department doesn't want to make money here. read more

Went in shortly after they opened. Gorgeous facility. Huge bar area and they have private VIP bowling rooms with four or five lanes. Their all-day bowling special on weekdays is a great deal. Their only issue for some purists is they have string pins which I hear have a little different action than free fall pins. For me (175 bowler) doesn't make any difference and string pins are becoming much more common so guess just get used to it. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. A great place for family fun or friends to get together. Lots of activities such as bowling and gaming area. They even have boba! They offer drinks (alcoholic as well as nonalcoholic) and food. The food was just ok, nothing spectacular but if you are there to enjoy some games or bowling and get hungry it will do the job! They offer gluten free pizza crust! +points for them! The drinks were really good & strong! I had the blackberry bourbon lemonade, a must try! The bowling area is very nice and comfy. Different from your local bowling alley. The service was ok, considering there were about 6 people there when I visited I didn't understand the wait. It took the bartender a while to even acknowledge us and wasn't very friendly. But that's just my experience, I'm sure that everyone's experience can be different, no biggie, we still had a great time and think this place is awesome! This place sucks and has only gotten worse. It's loud, the staff all hate their life, and there is no oil on the lanes. The playlist is absolutely insane. Rihanna straight to like Garth Brooks to edited Pantera or something I think that a.i. Charlie Kirk song was playing on my way out. The seating area is uncomfortable and their cheap leather is breaking down already they're clearly not going to be able to afford upkeep. The only reason I came back was to try the all you can bowl for $20 Monday- Wednesday. I love bowling and it's a good deal but I really don't see myself coming back. I live 4 blocks away and drive to Jackson and Stockton to bowl. Pacific bowl is a more enjoyable experience and I've been robbed there. OIL THE LANES It's a huge building those lanes are drying out like crazy they gotta be oiled regularly, probably daily, but again I'm sure they can't afford to. Also, nice 20 ft high poster sized boba signs on Lockeford street. We get it, you're struggling but come on. That's embarrassing looking. Sharing that space with another random party makes it even worse -- awkward and uncomfortable. * Service (or lack of it): No servers ever came by to check on us or offer help. We waited over 30 minutes just to get drinks, and the staff seemed completely absent. * Cleanliness: After the party we were forced to share space with left, their table sat dirty for over 20 minutes. No one came to clean it, and we eventually had to wipe it down ourselves just to use the space. * Pricing: On top of all that, the pricing isn't clear or straightforward, which adds to the frustration. Bowling should be fun and relaxing, but here it felt cramped, neglected, and overpriced. Please improve the layout and service -- it makes all the difference. read more

Loved my experience here. Bowling, bar and food with a dj on a Saturday night. Felt like a club that was family friendly. Definitelly great ambiance. I highly recommend coming in on a Saturday evening/night to really experience the place. Any day would do as well. I had a couple of cocktails with some friends at the bar, belly dancer is by far the best. The mule and sangria were also good. Fries, nachos and pizza were great sharing plates as well. We went to this place at about 6:30pm. The three of us sat at the bar and ordered. The bar tender had to card, wristband and charge us for the drinks right off. My husband and I went to the bathroom while we assumed she was making the drinks. We come back to my glass of wine and all bartenders and servers having a meeting with management, the two drinks missing. When the bartender came back after we interrupted their meeting. We asked if there was some kind of emergency. The two bartenders laughed. One had been there since 2:30pm and the other since 4pm. Is 6:50pm the best time to have a meeting? And the other disgusting thing is that the floors are sticky everywhere! I have zero desire to ever step foot in that place again. read more
