My husband and I like to walk around here every once in a while. It's always nice to see the cute charm of this little ranch and see happy rescued animals. The donkeys seem nice and social and the horses are older and mellow. You see the occasional rooster walking around. It's a great place for young kids! Consider a small donation to keep those sweet animals fed!

The McKee Ranch is a rare gem within our bustling city, and so close by us Our grandgem was able to ride a pony for the first time, then a horse! He loved it so very much, from the chickens, ducks, horses, pigs, rabbit, swings, and play toys too-to his favorite Danny Boy the dog! He loves - dogs!!!! He throughly enjoyed feeding the animals, riding the cow-train, with the enthusiastic engineer Max. To devouring cotton candy and yummy jumbo hotdogs! We shall return & encourage all who haven't been to go check it out

McKee Ranch is a hidden gem on Dean Martin--a peaceful, family-run animal farm that feels miles away from the Strip. It's free to enter (donations optional) and perfect for toddlers, my little girls still talk about feeding the goats, horse and riding horses and riding the pony! You'll find cute rescued horses, pigs, chickens, rabbits, and even a donkey. They offer pony rides, a little train, face‑painting, and seasonal pumpkin events. It's relaxed and rustic--no flashy crowds. A few tips: service can lag when it's busy, and there's definitely a farm smell near some duck areas, but that's part of the charm. Budget about 1-2 hours here--more if you're visiting during one of their Friday's at the Farm or Farm Festivals. Overall, a great affordable, authentic farm fun in Vegas's.

Little zone with kids toys under the trees perfect for a fall day.

Just updating this review because we keep coming back all the time and it gets better and better. I've noticed that they keep making improvements and my kids love coming here. Right now it's the end of September and the weather is perfect. We're sitting under a tree. It's super fun for the kids to just feed the animals and play with all the toys. Thank you to McKee ranch

    Horse and hay

My son picked up hay from the ground to feed the horses. A woman became upset, although there were no posted rules indicating that feeding the horses was prohibited.i thought you can feed the animals ?

This is a cool little small farm area just very south of Las Vegas. It's pretty cool vibe that takes you away from your typical Vegas scenery. When you're here, it makes you feel like you're somewhere else, unless you're here during the Las Vegas heat. This is a cool place to visit if you are into the Halloween vibe and wanted to visit a vintage feeling pumpkin patch. They have live animals that just roam around and even a donkey for kids to ride. It is pretty cool to just roam around, but I don't see anyone really spending more than an hour here, unless you really enjoy hanging out here. They have a little booth area where you can do face painting, buy some food for the animals and even so eggs.

Took the kids there doing spring break a little bit of a disappointment as just didn't feel there was enough staff, unfortunately to help all the people that were there as most kids wanna ride a horse there were two horses, but just one person handling the horse and the line was long over 40 minute wait For one kid to go around two times for $10. This is a nonprofit so not too much worried about the price but just the wait time and of course children are very impatient and don't understand why they have to stand and wait so long so more help would've been wonderful if they could've been able to provide it. The little train that they pulled the kids around was a golf cart just looking dangerous and not safe to safe as I saw the kid's riding off it kind of scared us! Kids really enjoyed, feeding the horses and some of the other animals. They do sell popcorn and carrot bags to feed the horses and goats and what other little animals they have out there. I believe it was $2 a bag and $5 for a pony ride, train ride $2 , water $2 and some other items to purchase. Don't ware you good shoes there remember it's a place for animals , do dirt and hay!

The pumpkin patch at McKee Ranch is worth visiting. During the month of October the admission is $25.00 for the entire family. Throughout your visit you get to select a free pumpkin from the patch. Get there as soon as it opens at 11:00 am. So you can feed the hungry farm animals. A bag of carrots for the four legged animals is available for $3.00. They also have popcorn for the two legged animals. My husband and I enjoyed the many spots for Fall pictures. In addition, they have pony and horse rides. Birthday parties can be held here too.

This place is great for Kids! My toddler talks about it every single day. The animals there are rescue so it is so nice to know they now have a safe home. All the workers and volunteers there are so nice and friendly. Dave is so kind and hardworking always making sure people are having a good time. They offer $5 pony rides and $10 horse rides on weekends and I think on some holidays. You can also bring your own produce that the animals are able to eat to feed them. Love this place, thank you McKee!!

Such a fun place to take the kiddos! My boys got to see horses, chickens, rabbits, donkeys, a pig, a turkey, ducks, goats, geese, sheep, & the sweetest chihuahua! They had a train going around for the kids to ride & a couple of play areas. They also have a birthday party area! We missed the fresh eggs for sale but we'll definitely be back.

McKee Ranch is such a quaint little place! They have all kinds of farm animals like chickens, horses/ponies, rabbits, and more! The family that runs it is so kind, too.

This is a fun place to visit with the family. Keep in mind the fall pumpkin patch doesn't open until 11. You donate $25/ per family and get a bag of carrots and a pumpkin. There are so many animals and it's a really unique place here in Las Vegas. Come support a local ranch!

Some of the selections are quite authentic ... like chicken feet and deep fried little smelt fish or one dim selection that looked like white jello something. There other "normal" looking stuff too, like all the noodles and stir fries as well as I love the BBQ meats, like duck and BBQ pork and the deals they have on fried chicken! I got a bunch of food to go, and what we don't eat, I'm sure the guys on the crew will finish! I got some BBQ pork buns, BBQ pork spare ribs and fried chicken. I skipped the duck this time. All the food tasted wonderful as expected. The buns could have been warmer, but that's what a zap in the microwave is for at the hotel. We enjoyed the food and it was no hassle to get. The pork ribs are wonderfully juicy and packed with deep flavor, pairing nicely with the complimentary sweet BBQ sauce even though they do not strictly need it. Unlike most places where the pulled pork dries out, this one stays remarkably moist and savory throughout. Chili (4/5): A very unique side that is much thinner and more watery than a traditional chili, holding a texture closer to a thin spaghetti sauce. Despite the looser consistency, it is absolutely packed with a variety of delicious smoked meats in every single bite. Mac and Cheese (5/5): An exceptional side dish and a clear favorite of the meal. It's incredibly rich, creamy, and distinctively flavored with sharp cheddar, which gives it a much bolder and more satisfying punch than standard restaurant mac and cheese. Corn Bread (5/5): This side functions almost like a dessert, boasting an incredibly sweet, vanilla cake like taste. The high level of sweetness provides a nice contrast to the intense salt, smoke, and savory flavors of the massive meat plate. Logistics Tip: Parking is limited but manageable between the two adjacent lots, and there is a clean restroom on site. To help beat the intense heat, they generously provide complimentary bottles of ice cold water. Keep in mind that they hosted live music on the late Saturday morning that we went.
