So first off, I do always enjoy their popcorn second off Customer Service unfortunately it really does count people buy your product. They don't want to deal with angry workers, angry people in general. And us as workers or you know people that serve the community that are in Customer Service. Need to learn to just brush it off maybe not necessarily brush it off but they need to learn to deal with customers. When I walked in I was greeted w a hello and then another person came up and asked what can I help you with? I was going to order around four or five different popcorn. I told her one she said OK and she left she completely cut me off every time I would add on a popcorn she would cut me off and leave and go bag it the second time I told her to look I have a few more. I wanna add on here what they are I mean usually they have a pad or they ask you and ask are you finished? They just don't assume usually. I asked her if there was a difference between the Cinnabon and the toast crunch she said yes and walked away when she came back I said what is the difference like I don't know maybe this just isn't the proper field for her (customer service) I mean they're pretty simple questions. I don't know if somebody made her mad but again Customer Service you have to learn to deal with it. I was very polite, but I was losing my patience. Ive lived here for 11 years and always see and hear about this store. I finally went in to grab some goodies for my foodie friends b day. I was thinking they would have 10 or 15 flavors....WRONG. they have so many flavors from simple to crazy unique flavors. Im blown away. I got a mini bag of Dill pickle for me, it was the best Dill Pickle flavor ive ever had! The girl who helped me check out was very patient with me. My initial review was that the popcorn was too piece-y to be considered gourmet. Alex who initially helped place my order saw my review and reached out to make it right. They sent tons of popcorn that are much bigger kernels with hardly any broken pieces. On a recommendation from a co-worker, I visited popcorn girl to get popcorn in bulk for a movie party. It was super affordable and clearly packaged. The online site is a bit confusing to navigate at first but it was ready when I arrived. Their staff was super friendly and the shop is super welcoming with you being surrounded by signage of all the flavors and gift tins for purchase. The smell of popcorn invites you to take advantage of their free samples. The young lady who helped me with my order made excellent recommendations of the Denver and Puppy Chow popcorns. They also don't just offer standard popcorn but specially sweet and savory flavors. Everything was delicious. I will definitely be back for my next popcorn need. If it weren't for Yelp's Very Vegas Party at Mansion 54, I would have totally missed out on meeting the one and only Popcorn Girl! It was the biggest Yelp event in 2019 that drew our community closer to many wonderful vendors and local businesses. I was happy to see that Popcorn Girl was there! She was giving out samples of sweet and savory flavored popcorn, and I was drawn to the Spicy Pickle which is now my personal favorite. It actually taste like dill pickle and there's jalapeño that gave the popcorn a nice spicy kick, it's amazing! This is not just any store bought popcorn, you'll get the real thing and it's gourmet! They use real cheese with real ingredients, there's no artificial additives and none of that undesirable powder. I wanted more of the savory and delicious concoction, so I made a recent visit to Popcorn Girl. The shop is located at Durango Commons on Charleston. It's right behind Best Mattress and near Manhattan Pizza. Upon entering, the yummy aroma of freshly made hot buttery popcorn just fills the air! Now this is exciting! It made me remember what Paolo Coelho had said, "When you are enthusiastic about what you do, you feel this positive energy. It's very simple." The moment I walked in, I was greeted with a warm and friendly welcome. It's refreshing to see how happy the employees are. Melissa was very attentive and she is a delightful person to speak to. Everyone was so kind! I sampled a few savory popcorns and they even offer some delicious fudge! I chose my top four favorites which are Spicy Pickle, Southwest Hot Wings, Southwest Jalapeño, and Spicy & Hot Cheddar. They're all deliciously good and the flavors are fantastic! I couldn't leave without the fudge and had to get a quarter pound of snickers and peanut butter chocolate, it was like icing on the cake! The sweetness was perfect, fudge was soft and smooth, it just melts in your mouth like cotton candy. The price varies and is dependent on the size, flavor, and specialty items. I opted for 4 small cheese flavors ($5.75). Each bag has about 10 cups of popcorn, and that is more than enough for one person. It's nice they have a wonderful display of popcorn tins sporting all kinds of teams and states, and there was something for the military too which was very cool! They offer a variety of themed containers for holidays, birthdays, get well soon, and something nice to give as a thank you. All in all, I am happy for Popcorn Girl! We needed a gift for our doctor's office today in Las Vegas and went to Popcorn Girl on Charleston/Durango for the first time today and was so pleased with their selection of gift boxes so reasonably priced. McKenna was a sweetheart and put together the nicest assortment of popcorns in a handmade (they make all their amazing gift boxes) happy face thank you box. Bith McKenna and popcorn exceeded my expectations.We will definitely be back. They also make their own fudge and it looked delicious. We will try that on our next visit. Yum yum yumm!!! I totally forgot about this place!!! I actually heard donors it had closed. Until the other day I was shopping around for movie night snacks and this popped up on my suggestions when I was in the area looking for "cookies" lol I love the grab and go bucket and picked up Oreo popcorn and puppy chow mix! Then I ordered a Chicago mix... I do wish they had put more cheddar in there, it was tons of caramel. But next time I'll ask! I also picked up some fun craft sodas and some nostalgic candy bars! We do online orders here every so often for work. The website is easy to order from and the pickup is convenient enough. Delivery charges are quite pricey but understandable.
