The only thing I could say is that the employees and managers there are so rude and disrespectful to the customers, and I happen to have proof. I was released, but the way how the manager did it was in a rude tone of voice, he was disrespectful to my best friend's mom when they ate there for dinner one night for a graduation party; he didn't allow them to have the sliding doors shut, and he was just so rude to her. My buddy ordered take out, and for every ten minutes he went there, his order wasn't ready, and he forgotten all about it. Hearing all this about my former coworkers and managers just makes me extremely FURIOUS AS SPIT FIRE!!!! I even know some of the employees names, and I am so not afraid to name the person!!!! If I were any other customer who hasn't eaten there, I wouldn't eat there; I don't want anyone else to take any chances on getting disrespect from those employees and managers. Oh, my goodness, you have to try The Sisco chicken! It's absolutely divine, like a taste that just won't let you stop indulging until someone reminds you to take a breather. This spot has truly mastered the art of making chicken. And let me tell you, the vibe at this place is just fantastic. Perfect for a family of six, we went all out with a feast and maybe splurged around $120. I practically waddled out of there, stuffed to the brim with happiness from all that delicious food. This is probably my favorite restaurant in Zebulon altogether. I would compare this as a luxury Cracker Barrel. Authentic country food and even better desserts! I always get the pecan pie when I come. I've had the butter beans, slaw, pecan pie, shrimp and more and everything was exceeding my expectations! There was no dry, non favored food on any of my plates. Too my surprise they have Pepsi products over come products and that made my day! And to top everything off the service is wonderful! Downhome country fare with daily specials and great desserts. If you are looking for comfort food or food just like mom would make, this is a great choice. Good family atmosphere, lots of seating, heaping piles of biscuits and hushpuppies upon your arrival. The menu is extensive, but the photos help make choices easier. My favorites are the Sisco Chicken and the Chicken and Dumplings. Country cookin' right in Downtown Zebulon. We eat at McLean's at least once if not twice a week and enjoy eating there. The food has always been good. We've had the steak, beef tips, hamburger steak, chicken, vegetables and the salad bar. They have an awesome chicken breast salad. We enjoy our waitress (Stephanie). She makes us feel like we are part of her family. The best place to get breakfast!! They have a vast breakfast menu from french toast to chicken-n-waffles! The McLean's sampler is the way to start off a good day, it has a little bit of every thing, pancakes, 3 types of breakfast meats, cheese grits and of course eggs cooked the way you like them! There is a waitress named Tina who works there and is the best waitress we have ever had. She is efficient, friendly and on top of things. Your drinks never get empty and if something is wrong she will get it fixed although we have never had that problem with Tina. She is by far the best waitress there. I give her 10 stars read more
