Been shopping here since I moved my business here in 2014 In addition to having everything I need for my small screenprinting business, a lot of times they have weird deadstock they are clearancing--brass stencils or old sign paint from 25 years ago--I LOVE IT! Always super friendly in here. Last time I was there I overheard the manager talking about how he sawed down the length of someone's scoop-coater because the customer needed a custom size...you just don't get service like that most places, not to mention when you order online. Worst phone customer service on this planet. Zero forward thinking. They give you no resolution to anything. I tried placing an order and all they can tell me is "we don't have it". Like I understand how can I place an order so I may get the item I need? Put me on a waitlist or let me pay for it and just notify me when you got it. You would think after all these years of business they could get better phone service or website service. When they get frustrated they just put me on hold and hung up on me. my wife wanted me to pick up some heat transfer films for some t shirts she was working on...i literally had no idea where to go, so i decided to Yelp "sign supply shop" and found Mc Logan Supply. and I'm so glad that I did!!! my new favorite place to stop by when in the area for sure... the place has been around since the 50's and has some really nice character to the place. they literally have everything you could possible need to work on for tshirt and sign design. everything from inks, heat transfers, poster boards, banners, printers, plotters, rulers, brushes...everything. all the guys there were super friendly and professional. i really liked how they actually took the time to talk with each and every person, in order to really understand the projects we were working on so that we had the right materials to get the job done. there was a long line to check out when i was there so be sure to give yourself plenty of time to pick up materials. apparently, im not the only one who loves this place =D hope this review helped my fellow yelpers! thanks Mc Logan, keep up the awesome work...be back soon! read more

Must mention first, I was at the los angeles downtown location this morning around 11am, I traveled over an hour to get some HTV and my experience left me feeling very uneasy. So as I said, I traveled from the IE to get some HTV and hopefully save some money instead of leaving with HTV while saving money, i left discouraged and disrespected as a customer. So, when i got there as soon as i walked through the door, I walked passed their little office area back to the area where the supplies were. One person was at register helping someone and 2 employees were cutting htv and others associates were chopping it up with each other in an area behind where the girl at the desk sits when you walk in. So I was walking through each little isle, looking at everything, complete deer in headlights..I waited and no one asked me if I needed help. The guy who walked in after me walked by me and we both kinda gravitated to the htv, but then he left so fast just as he did when he came in after me. We both saw the females, who came in after us, have every associate approach them to ask if they needed help and acknowledged them as customers. So, the lack of acknowledge of our presence as a customers made me aggravated and him pissed off. The store was not busy and I even went as far as saying hello to one of the guys who looked to be done with the customer whom he was cutting htv for. I said hi, Ihave question? and all i got was a finger raised as he motioned and said, with his back to me, 1 second. So out of respect, I backed away and waited around the isle till that employee was free. Other employees were walking by and saw i was a deer in headlights. The guy cutting htv could have said to one the employees who walked by, this customer needs help. I was beginning to think that perhaps it was me, did i forget to put on deodorant or something, then both me and the guy who came in after me, we both saw 3 workers aid including the guy who said 1 second to me help the women who came in after both me and the other guy. We just looked at each other and i said to him, perhaps we tell those girls what we need help with and they can get what we need...we laughed and he said this is bullsh@t and he bounced out. I too was aggravated. In short,  there is a division of customer service and customer relations based upon gender here. You have to be woman to get help and if your a man, you fend for yourself. Interestingly, I sent my brother in around 1pm after we had lunch and surprise he got the same treatment as i did. From what he said, when he asked for help they made him feel like he was wasting their time or they were in a hurry. He did state that they made him feel like he was stupid because he was unfamiliar about the products and what to get. Incompetent, and thats not a good feeling to leave with as a customer who is supporting a business, we will just support another business who values customer service morale. read more

i only write reviews after three visits. Every visit, it takes forever to get someone to help you. FOREVER. You don't know who works there, and they don't ask you if you need anything. SO I end up asking every customer if they work there. Basically what I'm saying is their customer service SUCKS.All three times I have received crappy service, especially from the scruffy older worker. And when you do finally track someone down, you better know what you want because they won't help you with offering suggestions. They do however have a large in stock selection of screen printing supplies as well as vinyl. They get one star because they are close to my work, and one star because they have what I need in stock. Customer service is worth two stars, but they got 0 out of 2 in that category. So only go here if you really need the item and in the area. read more

I've never been to the LA location, but this review is for the Chatsworth location. Their items do cost a dollar or two more than my other supplier, but the customer service here is always top notch and well worth my hard earned money. I always enjoy seeing Jim when I go there. I am by no means one of their "big spender" customers and I am not in there too much because of the drive, but yet he always knows my name, always says hello, and helps whenever he can. I have my toddler with me half of the time and it's hard to focus over him saying "mommy, mommy, mommy" 500 times, yet Jim and the other guys there are always overly patient and friendly, high fiving my little guy to make him smile while getting me the items I need. Today I took some material back that I didn't feel worked right (it was defective, it happens!) and they were happy to return it no questions, apologized, got me the right stuff and got me on my way. They may have taken a loss on the material, but they will make far more in the long run because that's the right attitude to gain lifelong customers.I don't normally write reviews for my work vendors, however it's been a long day of dealing with poor customer service and Jim and his team really stood out as a bright spot in this day. They know that a happy customer is a return customer here and there is no doubt I will return. read more
