They went back and forth with me on why I shouldn't those brand new parts on my car. I had already paid them before I noticed it. When I say forget it and gets my car, The gears are not shifting. They said that I had a small crack in my transmission pan which was not true. It was cracked while it was up there. I didn't have any transmission leaks when I brought it. When I got it, gears were barely shifting to I took it to AAMCO transmission for them to put the new pan on. Luckily I didn't need a new transmission. But I did have to by a new transmission pan and new fluid. Also when I picked up my car, my brake were going all the way down to the floor. They told me that I had to drive it some and it would start working regular which was false. They removed all of the brake fluid out of my car and when they put more fluid back in, they failed to bleed the brakes. So no I have to pay more money for AAMCO to bleed my brakes. If you have another option for your car, take it to the other option. They don't care about the work that they do. They just want to get you in, get the money, and get you out. This is my first and last time with LIKE BROTHERS.

I first took it to my local Ford dealership and asked them to check the car out and fix what needed fixing, the end result was very unsatisfactory leading to losing trust in their mechanics. I next took my Edge to a Christian Brothers auto shop in my area with the hopes of finding a trustworthy replacement for the Ford dealership. Strike Two!!! they tried to replace a part that Ford had already done . Bottom line , they tried to rip me off!!! I caught it and confronted their management. They won't get any more business from me. Moving forward to February 2026-My car started to experience front end suspension noises, AGAIN! (Ford fixed it-so I thought). I needed to find another shop that won't rip off the customer. Reputation is key! My search commenced and I found a local shop near me called "The Noble Mechanic" - (Reputation is key) I made an appointment and was assigned to service adviser Andrew. I told him my story and asked to have my car totally diagnosed and checked over again. I needed peace of mind on all previous work that was supposedly done that I was charged for. I stressed that I'm looking for a new shop to bring my family's business to. I received my car health report and was informed that the Ford dealership used NON-OEM third party parts when they repaired my front suspension. These were bad parts that didn't fit correctly and were failing. Adviser Andrew then provided options for me to consider and suggested the correct OEM equivalents over original OEM to save me $$$$. Overall, Their total car check and diagnosis is very detailed with pictures and the communication walkthrough is done with patience and clarity not rudeness and short answers. Although, I would like to see their labor rate charge of ($137.43 hr.) fully disclosed on invoices/bills (Had to ask Andrew for it) may be higher than other shops, but please consider this, you WANT a shop who employs highly trained and experienced mechanics who love cars and will NOT cut corners when repairing it. I called and found out the mechanics weren't given my okay to work on the repairs. It was a Friday afternoon and I was going to be without my car for the weekend. Before I could react I was immediately offered a discount and an apology. Because I have been here in the past even with my previous car I let them complete the work and was able to get my car that next Monday before 11am.

It's going to the new garage when I get the funds. The other one had major fail after their repair, I had no options really since it had to be towed. I expected they would honor the repair, but no, they charged me another $ 1400 to fix their mistake. A few months later, it failed again. I took it to another garage who repaired it properly for $600. Had I taken to the second place the first time, I would have $2000 in my pocket to spend on tires & brakes. Don't risk it. I know this is just my experience, but they weren't difficult repairs.

They confirmed they could not permanently turn off the seatbelt alarm, so we opted to use the seatbelt extender as a solution. Haven't noticed a huge difference except the engine seems to have a little more power and run a little smoother. Then the other one that had about 65,000 on it.
