If I could give these clowns negative five stars, I would. This business have been servicing my Mercedes since it was purchased in 2020. I'm a repeat customer and have the choice of many repair shops in the area, but I chose to bring it to Noblesville because it was convenient for me and they seemed to do a good job. However, I recently experienced a noise in my front end, which I thought was suspension related, and I took it to them, but the noise was intermittent and they said they could not replicate the noise but then they told me that I needed $4600 in motor mount replacement, so I paid that went on the road and lo and behold, the noise came back, so I took it back to them. Then I took it for a test drive with one of their technicians, and he heard the noise that it was making. and said it was no big deal, that they would figure it out. So then I left my car with them for two weeks, only for them to tell me well, we can't really figure out what's wrong with your car, but it does need $2600 for the compressor for your air shocks. then they then they said, even with this, it's still may not fix the original problem which you brought the car in for. Unbelievable, so now I have to take it to someone else to figure out what a wrong. What a debacle. read more

I visited Reggie Motor Works based on their positive reviews, but my experience was disappointing. I had three issues to address on my e46: diagnosing a persistent vibration, reprogramming basic BMW features, and diagnosing a fan problem. I dropped my car off for my scheduled appointment and after three days, they informed me that they couldn't replicate the vibration and were also incapable of turning off the daytime running lights. I asked them to keep the car for further investigation since the vibration occurs every time I drive it. The next day, they called me to pick up the car and charged me $211. However, upon leaving, I realized that they hadn't resolved the fan issue. I left a detailed voicemail, but I never received a callback after several days. For the amount I paid, I expected more comprehensive service and better communication. For a German specialty shop they left a lot to be desired. Regrettably, I won't be returning to their shop. read more

I can only speak for myself; I had a very poor experience. I spent over $4,000 at Reggie's and my car is now definitively worse than when I brought it in. They fixed one thing properly and made a mess of the rest of it. Extremely disappointed. As a single father, that $4,000 was important to me. Driving our car home after picking it up, my daughter said "I thought they were supposed to fix this? It sounds horrible." Just to add salt to the wound, when I came in, and after spending over $4,000, and being there multiple times, the service advisor didn't even remember who I was. read more

Reggie, Thanks for the response. As I started the last post, I made sure I stated that this wasn't a clear and negative post. I wasn't sure how to reply directly to you, so I'll put it here. I had just gotten on my car (brakes, shock seat repair, engine oil gaskets, stainless steel brake lines, etc. it's all in your system's record. Got my car back from you all 2-3 months prior, in the spring. I did cal Nick H. and all I was offered was to help remove the seized wheels. I always let either Nick know when there's an issue, immediately. I was told that the mechanic no longer worked there...leaving no one to speak on the service. As loyal as I was, I thought I'd get more care and concern for that took place. I wasn't even asked to bring it in for an inspection. Very disappointed. I'm fairly new to the rust belt, but I'm not new to preventative maintenance...including parts that are prone rust. I've been for 5 years and I do or make sure maintenance is done...at least 3-4 times a year. Which is how I found out the wheels had seized. You referred to some of the pics, the clean ones are what I did after I got the wheels off. I have been there several times, and yes...things happen. From applying heat to my axle and carrier, to it putting a Intercooler hose back on, to what I call preventative maintenance, and a couple others...I'd have to say the lack of preventative Maintenance is the cheapest and worst. Communication and rectifying a potential mistake is all it takes. A year later...not contact and I'm still getting mail/coupons from you. I sent Nick H. an eMail a few months ago with no response. I would like to hear an example of what I should have, given that the issue was kinda brushed off. read more

I'll start by saying, on a 5-star scale they deserve a 6.... This was my first time taking my Mercedes SLK300 to Reggie's and I couldn't be more satisfied with the attention to detail and quality of the work. My communication with my advisor, Dave, was easy and clear. They mounted new tires with Road Force Balance and 4-wheel alignment, changed the oil and brake fluid and replaced the rear brake pads and rotors. Also, new spark plugs... basically a 50K service. They checked every item imaginable and the cost was much more reasonable than the M-B dealership could do. Again, I couldn't be more satisfied... I'll continue to use Reggie's. Thanks! read more

Amazing service, Incredible value, and unmatched service. The Issue: The two Mercedes dealerships often times cannot get me in for a simple fixes for MONTHS. I'd try to call to schedule you'll get a voicemail time and time again. They always get my name wrong IF they call back. When I do get something fixed other underlying issues are ignored. I was in chicago and was getting a replacement there after being told by Mercedes in Indy they couldn't schedule me to fix an auxiliary battery fix for 4 months. Mercedes (Chi) said that I should have been told that my tires needed urgent replacement. Mercedes (chi) thrown back by the fact that I was not made aware of this by the Indy dealership service dept. the service member said I was "lucky to be alive" and "potentially catastrophic" was what was described. I lost all confidence right there and felt like I didn't know where I could go locally. At Reggie's, They were able to help me and others out. They have the same certified tech that a dealership would use which is important for accuracy, that just gave me absolute confidence in the quality. I was there for about two hours and they were able to inspect my car and run diagnostics and check to see if there were any other underlying issues. They found that the car ran fine but the alignment was slightly off. Which I was told previously was just how the fitment of the car "looked". They then explained how it potentially happened, what they would do to fix it, and an overall timeline and how it was a minor fix. I'm very happy with how they identified the other issue clearly and walked me through the process. To end it all they gave out a card with gourmet cookies from "Rosie's Place." We stumbled upon Reggie's a few years ago when the Land Rover dealer couldn't get us in for a service. We now use them for all services on our Discovery. Most recently they changed out the grill and exhaust pipes on my BMW and it turned out great. First of all, this is the WORST place to take your car in. I was with my dad who knew exactly what was wrong with the car, asked for a quote , then they charged $200 to tell us EXACTLY what we told them was wrong with it without anything being fixed. I would give zero stars if I could. This place is only out to get your money. It's sad, my dad used to go here and he said it was a great Indy spot (when Reggie was at the shop). I usually support local but I'm advising you take your car somewhere that's not a dealer and won't try and rip you off. read more

Owning a 2010 Mini Cooper means that, occasionally, one is faced with the proverbial fork in the road--trade it in for another used car which may have its own history of problems and repairs while taking on car payments OR keeping this car running with the help and advice of a trusted shop. I have come to this fork numerous times in recent years. Granted, on this particular trip, I needed an oil change, a tail light bulb replaced, and an explanation for the slow leak on one particular tire, but I normally anticipate a few other issues. This time was no different, but I am grateful that my safety on the road is important to this business. What I appreciate about the staff at Reggie's is the detailed explanation (with photographs) of work that needs to be done and their willingness to prioritize those issues, giving me the option of returning at a later date for some follow-up work. Technicians are also great about answering questions when I have them. Traveling nearly two hours to get from my home near the Illinois state line to Noblesville is a bit of a hassle, but that is due to the dearth of trained and trusted technicians in our area who are willing or able to service a Mini Cooper. For the time being I am holding onto the car, confident that the car's primary care physicians at Reggie's will strive to keep my Mini healthy and my stress level under control. read more

I visited Reggie's yesterday, and also towed my vehicle there for their inspection. I had already taken the necessary parts out and all that was needed was the timing chains replaced. I just couldn't find the time to do it. I also had all, and I mean all, of the parts and tools necessary to complete the job. Nick, the boss man, whom I spoke with 2 weeks prior and said he would have to consult his boss and then get back to me--never got back to me or returned my call. But when I got there yesterday with the vehicle on a trailer, Nick was literally the one who told me that they couldn't do the job. He didn't even look at my vehicle. Not to mention, he said that if I put it back together and if they used the genuine and OEM parts that I already purchased to fix it, he would charge me for labor and charge me for the loss of revenue from using my parts instead of his. So basically I get charged for something I didn't buy. Not worth your time or money. read more

I brought my car to them after I had been told they really know their way around a European vehicle. I brought 3 problems to their attention and they only fixed 1 which was the keys. I was complaining about a noise I had on acceleration and they said nothing was wrong and the vehicle was operating as it should. I paid them for the testing they say they did and took my car home. The very next day, my transmission went out completely with catastrophic failures. I ended up taking it to a actual Volkswagen dealer and now they are actually fixing it. I will not be returning to Reggie's especially after they have me the feeling as if they just didn't want to do the work. Don't waste your money or time here take it to a real professional. read more

I have had the pleasure of working with Reggie's from time to time over the years both as a the end consumer and as shop to shop, professional to professional. They've always been honest in their assessment of the repairs and pricing structure. I'd never call RMW the cheapest place to find a repair for your German vehicle, but who'd want to do that to their own car anyway? They're fair, meaning an honest price for an honest assessment of work. I've personally and professionally dealt with lead service advisor Nick Sartor, service manager Nick Howard, and owner now president Reggie Stewart over at least a 10 period. They've not once mislead me or left any question unanswered. They've always followed through on their word and the work provided has been of excellent quality. I recommend RMW to anyone with a German auto to try them out. If you're looking for comprehensive repairs with a staff that can that can think critically to solve problems Reggie's is for you. I cannot recommend Reggie's enough! We had always serviced our Mercedes-Benz and Audi's at the local Indianapolis dealerships, until recently. To be honest, I never realized there was another option in town. I filled out the online inquiry for servicing my 2015 MB GL, and had a response within 24 hours. Nick was very helpful in providing me an estimate for the service A that was due. This was literally ~$400 less than what I was quoted at the Indy dealership. He was also able to list the other services that are available, with pricing. Drop off was quick and easy. They provided a BMW loaner. After the work was completed, they sent me a digital inspection report, complete with photos. Overall, we cannot be more pleased! read more

I took my 2007 BMW 328xi to Reggie's Motorworks to replace the drive belt, fix a coolant leak and for an inspection. They did a great job with everything and for a reasonable/affordable price. They aren't the cheapest out there, and they will do quality work, provide customer service, are trustworthy and don't forget we own BMW's, so it comes with the territory. We don't want "cheap" anyways, because you get what you pay for. Their customer service is phenomenal because they gave me a nice loaner car to use while they finished the work on my car. Really wish this place would've been reasonable. Set aside a day to have my Jetta serviced. The service writer Nick scheduled the appointment Wirth a loaner (appreciated). I then asked for an estimate via email for a routine service (oil change and fuel filter on my diesel). Never showed in my email. Assuming it would be reasonable I showed to the appointment. Even then... no estimate until I'm climbing into the loaner that they tell me "it'll be about $140 for an oil change... $240 for a fuel filter... $50 for a tire rotate? Really that's literally double or more than what a dealer or reputable shop charges. The fact I had to pry this out is what had me packing. Upfront transparency is the only way to do business. I would've gladly paid a premium to a local business if there was transparency and communication. Sorry but I won't be back Reggie. read more

I will never come here again, not only did they break/crack my $200.00 battery,failed to replace certain bolts,they also charge me $135.00 for 2 minutes work to listen to my windshield motor run on without opening up to see the problem( nothing was taken apart or put back together as I was told and charged. They said they could replace it at $1,400.00 without knowing the problem. I fixed it for $65.00 and a little work. BEWARE, I brought this to their attention and NEVER heard back from them. read more

Reggie's Motorworks (RMW) is THE mechanic shop for German automobiles in central Indiana. They work on anything from BMW (Alpina, Mini Cooper), Volkswagen (Audi, Porsche), and Mercedes. They would also probably work on Opel if you got it some how to Indiana. I would call about working on Gumpert though haha. Anyway RMW has world class mechanics and customer services departments. Both Nick's up front in the service department are very polite and are gentlemen. I have been going to RMW for about 5 years. They have serviced my old BMW X3 (E83 N52) very detailed reports and pictures to show me what's exactly wrong. That car has been there probably 4-5 times. Then when I got my BMW 550i (F10 N63) it's only been there once for a coolant line bust. EVERY TIME I had my cars serviced there they give me their full attention, time and professional opinions. They make sure before you drive off into the sunset, that your car is back to 100%. When you bring your car there, you are not just another customer. They will remember you and what you drive. They are very personal which I love. Every time your cars gets serviced you get a free car wash and Rosie's Place butter cookies (which are VERY good!). All in all RMW is a place where I could call home and feel very comfortable with them working on my car. I would for sure give them a call if you need any maintenance, repairs, and inspections done. We had a horrible experience. Very, very overpriced. Our Mercedes needed a new battery. They charged just under $700 for the tow and battery. Then the heater motor didn't work (after Reggie's said everything else about the car was in great shape) and they wanted to charge almost $800 for that! We got another quote from a shop recommended by a friend and the quote is less than half. Guess where we are going! read more

Had to have some service on my 2007 BMW. After reading reviews, I took it in to Reggie's. Immediately noticed that the shop was spotless and well organized, which is important to me. Nick was the service consultant on my vehicle, and gave me a quick tour of the facility, since I am a new customer. Reggie himself was busy working that day as well. Got my diagnostic results, and my problem was fixed. Also, I was made aware of other items to "keep an eye on", which I appreciated. You will NOT get the upsell here. You will NOT be treated like an idiot that knows nothing. What you'll find here is respect and quality service. Yes, you'll probably find less expensive auto repair. However, if you're taking your German vehicle to those less expensive places, you will not be getting the most out of your vehicle experience. read more
