His communication was excellent, he kept me informed throughout the entire process, and I genuinely felt like my vehicle was in good hands. Customer service like his is hard to find, and he made a stressful situation much easier. I do want to mention that after the new engine was installed, my Escalade ended up stranded on the side of the road because a technician had accidentally forgotten to reconnect a clamp on a reservoir. While that was certainly frustrating, what truly impressed me was how Lum's handled the situation. I called and left a message, and their team immediately stepped up. They arranged to have my vehicle towed back to the shop on a Saturday, quickly diagnosed and corrected the issue, and then went above and beyond by personally delivering my vehicle back to me because of the inconvenience. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but a company's true character is shown by how they respond when something goes wrong. Lum's GMC handled it with professionalism, accountability, and genuine care. Within four hours,…read morereceived a call stating that while a technician was test‑driving the truck--within one mile from the dealership--there was a plume of smoke and a clunking noise from the engine. Was told the engine had suffered catastrophic failure and required replacement at a cost of $13,236. The service advisor insisted that no oil change had been performed and based on the maintenance they had completed, it was impossible to cause the damage that occurred and insisted it was an outstanding issue. When the vehicle was dropped off it was in perfect working condition with no observed issues. Researching our own, we were able to prove that an oil Change had been performed. After discovering that the dealership had performed an oil change and misrepresented this fact, we contacted the owner of Colvin Ford. Within 30 minutes of that meeting, the service advisor called to apologize and confirmed that the dealership would replace the engine, a rebuilt engine, at no cost. Although they covered the replacement and made it right, our concern is that this dealership is causing damage to vehicles and passing the replacement cost unduly onto the customer. In our situation, we firmly believe the oil was drained and not refilled which caused the catastrophic failure of the engine. If we hadn't researched, we would have been out the cost of an engine. Furthermore the dealership still has never owned up to causing the damage.

The owner stated he couldn't hear. Turns out the after pulling away and having someone chase me down, the tires were completely bald to point of creating sparks on the ground. I gave her a name, SEXY LOLA (SL). The place i bought her from, recently got bought out by another dealership. So I wasn't to sure on where to take her for warranty issues, nor did I know if she was warrantied. My finance place that I pay my car thru helped me and gave me a number. So I called it and i was able to tow it anywhere I wanted to get my car fixed. I chose Chuck Colvin Ford/Nissan in McMinnville, Oregon. Miss Jerri Collver helped me with my warranty issues. She was very friendly and cheerful, kind of reminded me of my aunt. They were able to fix my radio, front and back sensors, motor mount bushing, gas sensor, and get me a loaner (2020 Ford Focus, but who's complaining) for a few days. They were very understanding and the customer service was amazing. I'm definitely refering these people to my friends who have Nissan's, plus they are very reasonable on prices. For my car issues, i usually go to the Nissan in Portland, Oregon, but i definitely swing by if I'm in town and need something done on my Lola.
