I suppose to have my water softener service and change my water filters at the same time today. MCS water quoted me $399 for water softener service and $180 for filters tax included. I did some research on water softener. Since my unit is still fairly new. I decided to skip the softener service for now. When the technician arrived. I told him my decision. He called back to his office and the filters price increased from $180 to $185. Now a day $5 really means nothing. I have the technician finished his job but that just left a bad taste in my mouth.
