(Don't ask: sometimes, somebody just needs a dishwasher and an oven, you know?) Called this place up and got reasonable quotes right away. The stuff was at my place in a couple hours. A lot of indie shops price gouge shamelessly. This place is the opposite. I'd definitely recommend talking to Angela if you're in a jam similar to mine. She'll take care of you and help you out if things go South (which they did for me -- I initially got a 30 inch oven by mistake for a 24 inch slot, and she told me to relax and fixed it!)

So I took back cover off and noticed the play belt slipped off the cam. This Tascam Porta 2 was serviced few years back by licensed Tascam company. Inside was clean as a whistle. So now I had no time to repair belt. Looked for repair shop and this store came up. Took unit to store and filled out on work order: Play belt slipped off cam. (See pic) Simple repair you think? Well let me tell you this place will pad the bill as high as possible. With frivolous work charges. When I went to pick up unit. I got a bill for $185 for 1 play belt. Ohh they charged me for Replaced Belts, Rebuilt Motor which was a lie etc. There was nothing wrong with anything except the play belt. On top of that they never called me to say this work needs to be done. Or provide any photos to show what they did. That's what I mean by padding the bill. So I show up to pick up unit and bring my own Tascam OEM power supply, that was original to unit. Plug it in and all is ok. Just wanted to pay and leave. There is one thing I learned in life. Never argue with a fool. Because that makes two fools. So low and behold I take unit to my job and less than an hour later the Tascam unit fails. All this work that was supposed done and it breaks done before I even get it home. Yea right! So now I take it back. And it takes another day. Funny thing is the guy working the counter is like. Hey bring that Tascam oem power supply back and he will trade it for a $3 Chinese power supply. I was born at nite. But it wasn't last nite. What a moron bad enough he is ripping me off for unapproved work. Now he wants me to trade a $30 Tascam oem power supply for a $3 one. What an idiot. Check it out if you enter this store. Enter at your own risk. And be specific about any repairs with the caveat if work goes beyond scope of original quote. That you need to approve it. And ask for proof like photos etc. And as of July 4 th after only using tape deck for two hours. Tape deck failed with same error as when taken into this shop for repair. I recently moved and needed a lot of items due to covid19 i was left with limited options to physically go in-store to buy. Long store short i spent around $5k at PC richard. 1 of the items was a mattress that my husband and i liked when we tested it in store; we inquired about the return policy and was told we had a 90 day guarantee. Fast forward to 2 nights after delivery and i'm having serious pains in my neck and back. 4 nights of sleeping on this pillow top left me with a bruise on my leg. This was not the soft pillow top we had tried. We go in store to see about a refund as the store had no other models we liked; we are shocked to now be told its an exchange only. I asked for a manger (thank the heavens for getting me Jason Burgos) and was told that it would only be an exchange for another mattress. Jason was willing to spend time with me to address my concerns. I explained how we hadn't even taken the mattress out of the plastic and that it just wasn't a fit for us and that we had already bought a new mattress elsewhere. He allowed me to vent and didnt pay me lip service by making promises that he couldnt keep. He kept in contact and advocated for a compromise, a store credit to buy other items. 72 hours later after so much back and forth my credit has been approved. There should be more store managers like Jason. Willing to go above and beyond for a loyal long time customer. I sincerely appreciate all that he did. PC Richard should be aware that if not for his actions I had planned to return all the other merchandise and close my account. I suggest that if you have any complaints/concerns while shopping there talk to Jason, he's a straight shooter and gets 5 stars from me.

At 1:32 pm I call customer service and the gentleman was rude. He said I should have known that my appointment was changed a later time and if the tech wasn't here I should have know he was delayed on a previous delivery. But no one contacted me. I would never buy an appliance from them again. Taking time off work for a 5 minute appointment is ridiculous. When the guy gets to my home he wanted me to open my gate for him. He came in to measure the doorway and I had to stop him to tell him to start measuring. After he measured the doors and my broken refrigerator he asked me if I want a refrigerator. I am puzzled because I had to buy a refrigerator and make an appointment for them to measure the doorways. So I wasn't sure why he asked if I want a refrigerator. So I get a call the next day. I was told the item wont fit though my door and they guy didnt submit the measurements. But they will still deliver. I wonder what is your Net Promoter Score.
