The blue velvet cupcake was just OK, in my opinion. The cake was soft with a nice buttercream frosting, but nothing that blew me away or stood out to me as THE best I've ever had. I did not end up eating the vanilla cupcake due to an unrelated illness later that weekend. Nonetheless, it was nice to finally try this establishment out. In terms of service, the woman who helped me was super sweet and kind. She also thanked me and wished me well upon leaving. The store itself appeared clean and organized and I really liked the variety of offerings. Some of my favorite childhood candies were readily available and overall pricing was fair. My son picked out a black and white cookie decorated with a heart, which was just as cute as it was tasty. Their CEO has said, "We don't hire people to bake brownies, we bake brownies to hire people." It also doesn't hurt that their brownies are DELICIOUS. All of their products are made without preservatives in a verified peanut-free facility. All of their products are also certified kosher. Total crowd pleasers, for sure. And even if you've never heard of Greyston before, you've probably eaten one of their brownies without knowing. They're in some of Ben & Jerry's most-loved ice cream flavors and served on Delta flights. My colleague and I have also seen them sold at Whole Foods. I love Greyston's products and mission.
