Our guy, Tank, has spent many nights happily ensconced at The Cat's Pajamas where he enjoys spying on the comings and goings from the privacy of his own condo. Yes, we could leave him at home with a cat sitter popping by once or twice daily, but our dude is very social and gets lonely easily. Plus, he is a bit high-maintenance and Patty doesn't bat an eye at his extreme neediness. (LOL) Bottom line: Patty is a total pro. She is caring, considerate, and communicative. She keeps a close eye on her charges and intuits exactly what they need. I just can't say enough good things about her. If you want the best place possible to board your beloved cat, look no further.

Not only is it a very clean and calm environment, it is so clear that Patty cares for each cat and their needs. Their "condos" have levels for them to explore, each with their own box, and privacy curtains for cats who need more time to adjust to the space. Patty sends an email the day after drop off and throughout their stay to let you know how your cat is adjusting and eating. We all know how hard it can be to have to leave your cat and take them out of the comfort of their home. Knowing how well cared for they are with Patty makes doing so much easier. I could not recommend Cat's Pajamas Inn more highly!

We trust our dog with them and have actually seen some great improvements in his walking behavior since we started regular walks. Highly recommend. It is also great seeing the walk on the GPS and seeing pictures of his happy face on the walk.

His prices are completely reasonable, and he sends me a note and pictures of both cats during each visit. He has even been able not only to lure my skittish one out of hiding with treats, but she lets him pet her. He's one of maybe 6 or 7 people on the planet she'll allow to touch her. For me to be able to focus on the medical issues in my family and not worry about my angels is fantastic. I miss them like crazy when I'm gone, but I know they are in Josh's very capable hands.

Jennifer did a fantastic job caring for him. Jennifer first came over to meet him and they got along great right away. I showed her his toys and his leash (he likes to be walked outside) and she was ready and enthusiastic to play with him/walk with him on days the weather would permit. We also asked if she would trim his nails and the last day she came to help him out, since my parents took him in for a few days when she was done and we didn't want him scratching up their house. When they picked him up he was happy to see them but it was evident that she had done a great job playing with him because he wasn't needy and upset for being left alone - and his nails were trimmed and he was left with plenty of food and water. Overall I was so glad to have Jennifer to help out and we really felt we could trust her. I would definitely have her help us again when we need cat care.

A few weeks later, our vet recommended him. Our dog was about 6 months old at the time, so Porter has "grown up" with him. When Porter was a puppy, Mike was instrumental in guiding us through the training process and putting us in touch with a great trainer. He even came over for some of that training, so that he and I were on the same page with respect to setting boundaries, etc. We've even boarded Porter with Mike when we've gone on vacation or away for weekends. Right before we left for vacation a couple of years ago, Porter had to have emergency surgery. Mike took care of him while he was recovering, which included taking him to the vet to have his staples removed. We stayed with Happy Dog when Joy took over the business. She continued running the business with all the love, trust, and professionalism that we had come to expect from Mike McRae. Though we were sad to say goodbye to her, we were thrilled when Mike returned. Mike McRae is wonderful and we feel that he is part of our family. And, Porter loves him too.

I had a death in the family and needed to (last minute) reschedule the initial consult for cat care - Daria was flexible and understanding. We then adopted a dog and setup to meet for both a cat care and dog walking consult. Daria is very friendly, asks great questions, and is easy to talk to. She also calmly went through our entire consult while my dog was howling at her. Our dog got into some raisins and Daria was very understanding about needing to cancel dog walking (our girl ended up having to stay in the hospital). She even texted me outside of the StrutnPup app to ask how our girl was. StrutnPup uses an app which makes scheduling and communicating easy. Daria always sends a photo and update on the walks she does with our dog. Communication is great with StrutnPup: Daria started out being our dog's walker for the first couple of months. She was very forthcoming about training one of her walkers to take over and is doing a few walks where the walker shadows her before letting him takeover.
