Great experience! The vibe of this place is definitely catered toward a younger audience and food is a bit pricy but the overall service and quality of the food is top notch. We weren't allowed to bring outside food and drinks into the place which was a bummer but the service and hospitality overall was amazing.

SCAM ALERT: ME by Melia Cabo - A Predatory Beach Club Masquerading as a Resort Save yourself thousands and endless headaches - ME by Melia Cabo is nothing but an elaborate scam targeting unsuspecting travelers. The deception starts before you even arrive and continues throughout your stay. Speaking of deception - they advertise "included" whale watching tours with signs right at their activities desk, but surprise! When you actually try to book one, suddenly it's not included at all. Just another bait-and-switch tactic in their endless arsenal of scams. Let's talk about the highway robbery: $20 USD drinks (and you'll need them to tolerate this place), and $100 fee if you lose their precious wristband. The food is an absolute insult - we paid $150 for salty fried rice and the blandest sushi imaginable. The greatest scam? Their sister property, Paradisus, offers ALL-INCLUSIVE service for the SAME PRICE. Let that sink in. But the real scam is marketing this as a hotel at all. Massive concert-grade speakers and subwoofers taller than a person blast mind-numbing bass from noon until 2 AM - that's 14 HOURS of non-stop club music vibrating through your room. Your door will literally rattle from the bass. Good luck finding peace anywhere on the property, which is absolutely tiny. Want to escape to the beach? Sorry, they've somehow managed to monetize every square inch of what should be public beach access. There's literally nowhere to sit without paying extra fees. The property presents itself as a luxury resort but operates like a bottom-tier spring break destination. During our brief stay, we witnessed drunk, unconscious guests being ignored by security staff and drunk patrons verbally assaulting hotel management - real 'luxury' experiences there. While most staff are friendly (probably from sheer embarrassment), management showed their true colors when we tried to escape this nightmare. Erick was the supervisor who did virtually nothing to resolve our issues. We just needed to get out of the hotel as fast as possible. They attempted to pocket $600 by withholding a legitimate refund for an unused night. Only after hours of arguing (and literally shouting in the lobby) did they attempted to do anything to help us. They refused to give us any confirmation other than verbal confirmation that they were going to refund the reservation. We ended up needing to contact our credit card to open a claim. The only positive? The view - which you can get at ANY hotel in this town, minus the spring break chaos and relentless price gouging. This isn't a hotel - it's a predatory scheme with rooms attached. Walking past other nearby hotels, we could physically feel the atmosphere become more relaxing with each step away from ME by Melia. The fact that they charge the same rates as their all-inclusive, stunningly gorgeous sister property Paradisus just proves what a complete scam this place is. Everything about this place is designed to extract maximum money while providing minimum value - right down to their fake "included" amenities. Do yourself a favor and book literally anywhere else in Cabo. This place is the definition of a tourist trap.

I stayed at the ME Cabo resort for a weekend, and had an amazing time! The resort is beautiful, and the pools were always clean! The servers and concierge were extremely helpful with food recommendations at the resort as well as excursion opportunities away from the resort. The resort is super close to the arch and pier. Everything was in walking distance, and this helped us maximize fun on our trip. I would definitely return!

Oh ME Hotel! Had I read the reviews prior to my trip, I probably would not have suggested we stay here. However, it seems as though they've changed a bit based on what we experienced versus the reviews from a year ago. A friend of a friend recommended this hotel to me so we decided to book it three weeks prior to our trip. When we checked in, we were greeted with champagne (and they kept it flowing), the staff was friendly and we were upgraded to ME+, which came with our own personal butler (Omar), free drinks tickets to Confessions and free breakfast. Omar gave us a tour of the property while we waited for our room to be ready. Upon checking into our room, they had a fruit platter, champagne and balloons for me!! During our stay, we rarely used Omar as we were pretty self sufficient but he was super attentive and friendly the few times we called upon him. The cleaning staff always had our room spotless, they provided plenty of bottled water for us and they didn't say anything to us about bringing outside food back to our hotel room. There was consistent hot water as well which was a plus for me. As for the noise, the party at Taboo ended around 7pm so we had no issues with that. So I wouldn't call this a party hotel, at least not anymore. We had a good experience overall and no issues with our bill either. Only issue is how expensive room service was. Tacos (check out my pic) were $45 -_-

ME Hotel is a five-star lifestyle resort hotel and spa in Cabo San Lucas, BCS, Mexico. It's located in the stunning Playa El Medano and nearby restaurants and shopping stores. Cabo has a new hotspots include Confessions Skybar & Tapas, Taboo Beach Club, serving Mediterranean-inspired cuisine, and Funky Geisha, with beachside Asian fare. We stayed four days and three nights in the hotel. We stayed in one of their deluxe rooms on the third floor. The bedroom suite has full of amenities (i.e., tv, vault, liquors, towels, bath stuff) and it's well serviced throughout our stay. The best part was the room has a pool view and the beach. Staff were very cordial and professional. They were responsive to our needs. For instance, when our room e-bracelet didn't work, I notified the lobby and they quickly solved it. As for the hotel amenities, they have a modern gym, spa, outdoor jungle gym, etc. However, they will extremely charge you for any extra food/drinks that you may incur during your stay. For instance, we ordered an extra non-complimentary breakfast at Mamazzita, a restaurant in the ME Cabo resort, which we paid in cash + tip (pesos) at the restaurant but we got billed later at the end of our hotel check-out. So please be very, very mindful. Overall, its a great luxurious hotel with a great beach view. I highly recommend this hotel.

Hello friends: let me start by saying I would probably give this hotel an overall score of 3.5. Let me break it down for you. Service: overall excellent. Couple of shout outs- our 'personal concierge' Giovanni and 'front desk administrator' Rasia. Giovanni went out of his way to be helpful. Booked us into great restaurants, found a hairdresser for me, answered questions about things-- really super helpful and professional throughout our stay (he gave us his cellphone so we could text anytime- and we totally did) Rasia spent almost an hour with me trying to help me get checked in with our airlines. There were issues with our tickets and she graciously spent a bunch of time trying to check us in on line and calling the airline. Again over and above. As a general rule all the other staff members were gracious and gave good service from the waiters to the housekeeping staff who really did a great job servicing the rooms. There were only two service snafus that could have managed better. 1) a friend and her daughter who happened to be in Cabo at the same time, came to visit for an hour (her daughter was 2) -- they came clearly to visit (no swim wear etc) -- and the staff wanted to charge them $100 each to have them sit with us at the pool because the hotel also allows outsiders to come and pay a daily fee to use the pool. On the one hand I get it, on the other hand- it was really clear that she wasn't here to party and we were buying drinks. So just a poor show. The next snafu was at the beach club attached to the hotel. We were outside, ordering drinks and I asked for 3 cups with ice so I could have some Diet Coke which I brought. Turns out, I wasn't allowed to bring my own drinks. Now, I get it. I do. However, 5 times I asked, and each time the waiters nodded and then did nothing. Eventually a manager came and explained. She was totally professional and delightful-- however All of this could have been handled up front if someone just said something. Also, we were actually also buying drinks too. So is it worth pissing off a guest when they already are spending 150 plus per day at the pool? But apart from these two issues- the rest of the service was really pretty great. Food: Ugh. So this is where things fell massively short in 2 areas. 1) the quality of food/ menu was average at best 2) the cost of everything was OUTRAGEOUS! I live in LA so I am used to expensive-- but this killed me. We ordered one sushi roll at the pool and it cost $50! I couldn't believe how much we ended up paying for food. The portions of food were small, and the quality was average. We ended up eating out pretty much all of the time because it was much much better outside of the hotel. I do want to acknowledge that breakfast came with the room- and that was decent enough. Not great, but there was variety in the menu and again, service was good. Ambiance: so the hotel is a nice looking hotel and the room was very nicely decorated with clean lines and comfortable beds. I will say that this is a party hotel- so get ready for loud music and fireworks. It was fine at first, but it did get a little old after a while. But the common areas and pool was good. Only call out- no outdoor jacuzzi which was a bummer- but otherwise good. And the views from the hotel? Spectacular. Overall ratings: Food 2.5 Service 4.5 Property 4 Hope this helps.

If you want to feel like sophisticated, stop at the ME bar for an over-priced cocktail. The view is beautiful.

Me Cabo was a dream! My husband and I visited for my birthday in December. I would definitely give this resort 5 stars. We had transportation through the hotel, 10/10 recommend. Upon arrival the hotel was very clean, and the room was ready upon our arrival. We were assigned a butler, she was fantastic!! The customer service for the entire staff at the resort was good. The view from our room was amazing! My husband and I stayed for 3 nights 4 days. Each day I had a different surprise waiting for me to celebrate my birthday in our hotel room, it was great. We also went to breakfast every morning on-site and it was good, nice variety of food and fresh juice. The resort has Taboo beach club connected so that's a great option if you're looking for Dinner spot. There's a rooftop bar as well. The only feedback I would give is if you are looking for a more rowdy resort, this one is not it! Although super nice and clean. This hotel is quiet and meant for guests to relax! Nice pool area and swim up bar, we spent a whole day at the pool! We did leave the resort and walk to near by restaurants and also there are clubs close for night action. Overall 10/10 experience for us at Me Cabo!!

Great view from the hotel! Service was amazing. The hotel has a fun, adult vibe but classy at the same time. Hight recommend this place. It's right on Mendano beach which is swimmable and has lot of activists and restaurants with walk-in distance.

This a very beautiful property! We came in for a drink and some people watching. Needless to say, we got an eye full! The bartender was very professional and served up some very potent drinks. The grounds are stunning. I would have loved to stay here. It is walkable to everything downtown Cabo and the Marina. It is ultra clean and fashionable. One might even say chic. Pop in for a drink and a show!

The shrimp pasta had a Caribbean twist to it.. tasting like a coconut curry. The house salad was refreshing and filling. Great lobster roll. And the tuna tacos were made with jicama as the tortilla (for macro counting folks). Beach vibes but out of the sun if you prefer. Valet parking available.

5 stars for the view/ambiance 1 star for the service…read more2 stars for the food The view is outstanding! Located right on the beach you can either sit right on the beach or on the shaded terrace - which is one level higher and also where the bar is. You can reserve a table via Open Table which makes reservations easy. The service wasn't very friendly. They acted like we were doing them a favor by eating there and our waitress was downright surly! The food was good but weird. Mostly because the menu descriptions did not exactly match what we ordered. For example we ordered the burrata salad and not only did it come with pesto as advertised, but they also put guacamole on it. Weird! We expected it to have both tomatillo salsa and pesto per the menu but not guacamole! Another example was we ordered the salmon tartare which was advertised as having mezcal aoli, tobiko, goat cheese and another sauce. Well when it arrived it is basically a cheese dip like you'd get in the MidWest with tiny (1/8" minced pieces) salmon shavings in the 97% goat cheese covered in a layer of "tobiko" but as someone who eats sushi multiple times a week I can say with pretty high certainty that it was actually the cheaper/smaller/milder masago and not real tobiko - I mean both are fish eggs but I can tell the difference. But fish eggs aside this was NOT a salmon tartare it was a goat cheese dip that consisted of a small 3% of the dish having minced almost microscopic salmon. I mean for a cheese dip it was weird but tasted ok but this dish for sure is NOT a salmon tartare. It's pretty sad my favorite thing I ate here were the sweet potatoes fries that come premade so they are impossible to mess up. Those accompanied the lobster roll that was so over-seasoned and overcooked you couldn't even taste the flavor of the lobster. The second best thing I ate here after the sweet potato fries was the Macho ceviche. That was good - I'd order it again. The grilled artichoke was also overcooked since it was over-charred so I kept getting a burnt taste in my mouth. Overall, the view was great, the service was bad and the food was weird. I won't be coming here again since there are tons of better tasting, better service restaurants in Cabo with just as good of a view.

While the theft itself was extremely concerning, the most disappointing part of our experience was the response from front desk staff and management. Rather than demonstrating urgency, empathy, or accountability, we were made to feel as though we had done something wrong. Our concerns were not taken seriously, and there was little effort to investigate, provide reassurance, or offer any meaningful resolution. Due to the lack of trust that followed, we no longer felt comfortable allowing staff into our room and declined housekeeping for the remainder of our 4-night stay. This significantly impacted our comfort and overall experience. For a property of this caliber, both the incident and its handling fell far below expectations. This experience left a lasting negative impression and raises serious concerns about guest safety and how such situations are managed. We would strongly encourage management to take this matter seriously and address both the incident and their response to it, as it significantly impacts guest trust and safety.

I was confused when I got there - the website shows an overview of the ocean and their beach house - which is on the beach, but the actual hotel is a few blocks inward. They offer a golf cart ride down the street to drop you off. When you are at the beach house you let them know you're staying with the Bahia and entitled to certain discounts. So the staff is attentive and courteous. The pool looks good but it was primarily empty. The food looked good - we had breakfast there and it was very good. The beach house has an open area to sit down inside with shade, and there's a small sectioned off area on the beach in the sand. You get waitstaff to get drinks for you. At times it can get really crowded, but then again it was busy there - right after Spring Break. It is quite loud and noisy there - with music and crowds. The rooms - were very nice. The bed was king, it was firm, it was comfortable, it was clean. There was also an extra small bed aside for guests - we never used it. It is spacious. The bathrooms were nice and clean too. The doors are heavy and secure, so make sure when you leave they are completely closed and locked because one night we thought so - but it did not latch. We came back and the door was open, we freaked out, but all was good and safe. We were lucky. Just make sure the door is secure and latched and you'll be fine. But overall I thought this place was great and I would recommend them. The rooms are very nice and clean. Staff was accommodating. If you're okay with it not being exactly on the beach then you'll be fine here.

We heard nothing but raving reviews from our guests about the rooms and cleanliness of the entire resort. I already had family and friends asking when we can come back for our anniversaries lol. Now for our wedding: The planning through Casa Dorada's wedding coordinator, Katherine Anaya, was seamless and so easy. I can't express enough how amazing she was to handle everything for my husband and I since we are from California. The location of the resort is perfectly on the beach with nearby bars and restaurants. Yes you can hear the music from the bars but it stops at 9:30/10pm. Didn't hear any complaints from any of ours guests (ages 25-83). The wedding ceremony and reception was at the 12 Tribes Terrace and they really transformed the atmosphere to be exactly how I envisioned the wedding! If you're hesitant about doing a destination wedding in Cabo, I researched about 20 resorts and landed on Casa Dorada because of the value, location and how beautiful the resort looks. We are so happy with how our wedding came out and how amazing the staff is at this resort. We want to highlight our amazing wedding planner (through the resort) Katherine Anaya who handled everything for us and made sure the whole wedding experience was stress free and seamless for us. Her first impression through email with me truly made me feel her hospitality and kindness. Meeting her in person for our pre-wedding trip January 2026 just solidified that we have an amazing person helping create our wedding vision and bring it to life! She even went as far as having a custom wedding slideshow playing in our hotel room that had our pictures from our wedding website. The attention to detail Katherine gives is beyond what I could've ever imagined from anyone! Another person I want to mention was Rene at the 12 Tribes Restaurant. We met him during our pre-wedding trip and he handled everything with ease for our signature His/Her drinks and our food tasting samples. Right away his great hospitality and kind spirit could immediately be seen and felt. For our wedding in April 2026, Rene remembered us and gave nothing short of excellent service during our entire wedding week when we saw him or ate at the 12 Tribes restaurant. Rene was actually a server during our wedding and was making sure everything was going smoothly and made sure we felt at home. Two more people who are worth mentioning: Heriberto at the swim-up bar and Michele at the B Bar. Two awesome people who love what they do. They remembered us each time we came back to them. They remembered our drink orders and truly made us feel like family there. If you're thinking about a wedding at Casa Dorada, my advice to you is do it and you won't regret it. It truly felt like our home away from home. Muchas gracias Casa Dorada!!! We will definitely be back! This isn't goodbye, but see you soon!!

Wow. Just wow. 5 stars all around!!!!…read more I don't have a single complaint about the Waldorf which really blew my mind. Yes it is quite pricey but for once, the price is justified by the impeccable customer service, room quality, and maintenance of this resort. It is the perfect blend of modern and elegance and screams luxury without trying too hard. It's close to the marina as well so easy access to other restaurants, shopping, and tours. We stayed at a 3 bedroom villa and the week flew by. The rooms were spacious, well kept, clean, and stocked with everything you need. We had our own private plunge pool to soak in whenever we wanted to. You are greeted upon arrival with a welcome drink and they gifted the kids an adorable sugar turtle cookie when we departed! They offer sample drinks and popsicles at the pools. Their attention to detail is flawless and everything is well thought out. The resort has an adults only pool, a family infinite pool overlooking the ocean, and another swallow kids pool. Plenty of lounge chairs and was never too busy. The food was fantastic from the poolside kitchen to the on site property restaurants to the private chefs. Honestly some of the best food I've had in my life. The spa is world class and I highly recommend it. We had some of the best nail service, massages, and facials ever. Everyone is well trained and very skilled and experienced in their area of expertise. They have complimentary golf carts that take you anywhere on the property and we never had to wait for one. Everyone is so friendly, inviting, and professional. I truly appreciated everyone's hospitality and warmth. The best part was our private butler who cooked our meals, arranged all activities and transportation off the property, did laundry, and even found our missing shoes that flew across the resort! lol. Our butler Ricardo was amazing and such a delight to have. This is a once in a lifetime experience that everyone must indulge in. It's worth it.

Other than that, best stay i've ever had in terms of everything. Room, aesthetics, service, and location. Room was super spacious room with a soaking tub and rainfall shower, each room comes with its own plunge pool with water temperature set at 82 degrees so you can swim in it anytime. It also comes with a fire place, which comes in handy at night. The room is also equipped with binoculars for whale watching, very thoughtful. The service was top tier, better than Ritz Carlton and other Wardolf location I've stayed at. You get a personal concierge that can help you with whatever you need 24/7. Shout out to my concierge Raquel, she made the stay so much smoother. The location is prime. Walking distance from a lot of restaurants, bars, and clubs. If you don't want to walk uber's about $5-10 bucks.

The food was consistently good, and the Lazy River is definitely the standout feature and biggest selling point of the property. The rooms and grounds were well maintained, making for an enjoyable stay overall. That said, there were a few areas where the experience fell short. Pool service was inconsistent, and there often seemed to be a shortage of pool towels. Entertainment options were limited, and with only three restaurants on-site, dining choices felt somewhat restricted. Of the three, Latitud 23.5 was by far the best and the one we found ourselves returning to most often. Guests should also be prepared for a fairly aggressive timeshare presentation pitch. Additionally, the advertised complimentary 45-minute massage per room for direct online bookings appeared to be more of a marketing gimmick, as multiple staff members seemed unaware of the promotion during our stay. While we had a pleasant experience overall, we're likely to try a different resort next year. The Lazy River was the highlight, but the overall experience wasn't quite enough to bring us back.

Sadly, we DID end up buying a Corazon membership, and now that we are using it, we have serious buyers remorse. As they say "the devil is in the details". Watch out for: 1) Resell unused days: Corazon touts that any unused days each year can be "resold". While this is true, AirBnb sites negate any profit, so for all the hassle you net almost $0. 2) Travel anywhere in the world via their "Global Network": This is smoke and mirrors. Its NOT their network at all. Corazon simply signs you up for a vacation club, and pays your first years dues. You could get this vacation club on your own, even without Corazon. 3) Price Increases - 5% increase per year. They will NOT tell you about this during the "tour" and sit down negotiations. 4) Black outs. They will tell you there are no black out dates, which is true, but they limit the number of rooms available to members, so unless you book VERY FAR in advance, there is a considerable chance you get blacked out on the travel dates that you want.

BUT......Esperanza is on a different level and if you have the means....by all means I HIGHLY recommend staying here. The ocean view suites are stunning with amazing views. Service is the finest you will find. You have your own concierge who knows you when you arrive. Everyone there is friendly and wants to make your stay the best. Location is the best. The beach is great to swim. The pools are great. The restaurants offer varied options....although we only ate at one and it reminded me of a Luau. Gold courses close by. Pickleball and Tennis courts. Basketball courts. Great gym and spa. With so many options and so many new places popping up...I think Esperanza still is the tops with it's gorgeous grounds and stunning service.
