    Beef Thai Boat Noodle Soup
    Kelli G.

This was my second time at Me'Khun, and it's truly a small hidden gem. Both times I've gone, I was lucky to get a table because it was packed and also limited seating. The food is made fresh to order, so everything comes out hot, fresh, and full of flavor. Today I tried the fried pork, crispy chicken with vegetable rolls, and the beef boat soup. Let me start with the fried pork oh my gosh, it was amazing. It was crispy, flavorful, and paired with the perfect spicy sauce that had hints of fish sauce and garlic. Delicious! The crispy chicken rolls were great too. The beef boat soup is new to the menu, and it was rich, deep, and comforting. The broth had a bold flavor that reminded me a little of pho. Customer service was amazing, and the ambience was nice and chill. Definitely a spot worth trying!

Cute small place, great service and even better food. Wow, it was hitting on all levels and we will be back for more! Pad see ew Pad Thai Pork skewers Pork belly Chicken dumplings Papaya salad- omg yayas Calamari Mango sticky rice Panaang curry (little sweet for my taste buds) Texture, taste presentation all 5/5. My only 4/5 would be the mango sticky rice. Yum yum, hurry over for some amazing Thai food!

Hallelujah!! Finally a Thai restaurant to get excited about. What initially caught my eye were the "tray" lunches with the cute little side dishes. I love Korean food just as much as Thai, so anytime I can try a little bit of a lot of different things, I'm in. During lunch you can add extra small plates, so I added the chicken wings and the salmon. Both are incredible on their own and take you on their own flavor journey, but here's a pro tip: eat the salmon first, then dip the chicken wings in the leftover sauce from the salmon. Prepare to be blown away. The tangy acidity mixed with the sweetness is the flavor profile I'm always chasing at Thai restaurants but somehow rarely find. This place absolutely nailed it. Now let's talk about the beef noodle soup. It's basically pho... but better. They don't even offer the veggie side that usually comes with pho, and there aren't hoisin bottles in sight because honestly, this soup doesn't need it. The broth tastes like it's been simmering for days. It's rich without being heavy, and the beef completely melts in your mouth. I asked for chili oil and they only had chili powder, but it actually worked perfectly. I loved pairing bites of the soup with the little pickled veggies that came with one of the sides. Also... it's a ton of food for the price. This meal felt like such a steal. There's only one other place in Houston that makes me feel this excited about Thai food, and I'm so happy I found this gem. If you're passionate about Thai food and soups, come here and get exactly what I ordered. Your soul will thank you.

Me'Khun is a quaint and perfect place to grab authentic Thai food. I tried it for the first time and was so impressed that I had to come back! It's located in a Westgreen plaza with plenty of parking. The first time I went, I tried their pad see ew and chicken wings. The wings were delicious, crispy and flavorful. The pad see ew was great too! Wasn't overly sweet and was a large portion. The second time I went, I came during lunch. They have great lunch specials and I tried their chef's favorite set with the beef noodle soup. It was a little too salty for my preference, but the plate setting was nice and filling for such a good price. I'll be back to try more! The only thing is that service can be really slow. Lunch was definitely busier than when I came on a weekday evening. When it's packed there's only around 1-2 servers that can assist you. They try their best, but because it can get busy, it can be a bit slow. Regardless, they are very nice and helpful though.

Small sweet business with really flavorful food. We came on New Year's Day and it was quite busy. Loved the full meal with dessert. The dumplings were so tasty, we're going to go back for a full order. The chicken Penang was delicious! I got medium spicy which I enjoyed, but will definitely try the mild next time. My husband got the pork pad sew ee and said he'd come back for the noodles alone. Undoubtably the best Thai we've had in a while.

Saw Me'Khun Delicacies on social media and finally got a chance to try it! Nice decor indoors & ambience in general. Can overlook the long wait since the food was delicious! Seated within a few minutes but arrived during the new year dinner rush. Service felt slow since only 1-2 people were taking orders and waiting tables. However waiter was still attentive and provided excellent service. - Enjoyed the Thai tea! - Thai papaya salad was good but not my type (too citrusy?). Mild spice had a kick to it. - Rad na noodle (+beef) was unique! Don't typically see that at other Thai restaurants. Waiter suggested to pair it with flat noodles - Chicken Pad Thai was my fave! Super delicious! - Railroad fried rice w/ chicken: smoky & savory Ended the night with sweet rice & mango! Definitely will be coming here often as regulars!

Found this place on Uber eats and I was sold! Crispy pork belly is so flavorful and crispy, and the Tom Yum noodle soup had many components that worked well together. The sauce that comes with the pork belly is spicy but not overly spicy. Everything is seasoned just right! I need to try more dishes from here but it's really freaking good!

This place has some pretty good Thai flavors but the reason I gave a 3 stars is because of the quantity size on some of there dishes for to go orders. Prices are average to high, but the serving size on some of their rice dishes to go is a shame! Half rice and half protein in the same container for $17-$19!! Smh. Also for Yum Woo Sen noodles, also a very small container for $17!! Smh. I'll never order to go again here. There ripping customers off. I'm sure the cost is high for them also, but don't cheat the customer!

A friend recommended this place so we had to drop by, Thursday night dinner party of 4. They have simple but cute decor, very clean. I noted there was only one server, taking orders, cleaning tables, serving food, and handling the register for pickup. So when there is a rush of diners, service can be slower. However, note that our server was friendly and offered to package our leftovers, was thorough. We were pleasantly surprised with all the dishes, did not expect everything that we ordered to taste so good. We struggled with trying to decide which ones were our favorite. My personal favorite was the chicken pad kee mao and I'm not usually a noodles person! Pork belly - fried perfectly, great cut of meat where it wasn't too fatty, and the sauce pairs so well with this dish. I meant to ask to order to sauce to go so I could eat it with rice at home but the kitchen was closed by the time I remembered. Seafood tom yum soup - I love how it's served in the traditional Thai soup pot, keeps the soup hot. The seafood assortment includes scallop, squid, and shrimp. Tastes so good with kick of spice. I ate two bowls with rice. Thai papaya salad - love it here, well presented and well seasoned. The papaya was shredded thicker than I am used to but didn't affect the taste. Chicken Panang Curry - rich and flavorful. I would definitely order this again. I wish there were other vegetables in this dish aside from the bell peppers. Green beans and snow peas would be a nice addition. I like the Thai Iced Coffee, not too sweet. My friends love their Thai tea as well, helped to alleviate the heat from the spice. It's very important to note that we ordered all our dishes mild. However, the spice level was more than what we are used to, even at mild. So adjust your spice level accordingly.

Absolutely hands down thee best Thai restaurant in Houston! It's pretty small and could get packed quick, but it's worth the wait. Customer service was superb and the food omg delicious. I literally want to go daily! Love this place!

    Chicken Crispy Rolls.

This review is based on a takeout order. My wife had eaten here with a friend earlier in the week and insisted we get takeout. I'm so glad we did. The order was ready on time, always a big plus for me. The man who met me at the counter was super friendly and polite. The restaurant itself is small on the inside, but still had a cool vibe going on. Good enough to make me want to experience a meal inside. First up were the crispy chicken rolls. WOW! Non-greasy, crispy goodness in my mouth. Definitely from scratch. The dipping sauce was sweet and spicy fish sauce. My wife didn't tell me what the sauce was until after I tried it. What can I say? It paired well with the rolls, and I'm a fan. Next up was the Pad Thai with the slice level all the way up, which is a three. For me, it was one of the best I've had. As a casual chili-head, the heat level wasn't overbearing. The spice was delivered via an oil of some sort. It left a great burn after I had finished. Yum! Well done, Me'Khun Delicacies. I enjoyed your food, and I'm coming back to try more!

    Crispy Wonton Pad Thai

I've been wanting to try Me'Khun Delicacies in Katy for awhile and finally got the chance They were packed and also do not have that much seating so we had to wait for a little bit for a table to clear up. They have many dishes that you would not typically find at a Thai restaurant. We ordered the crispy pork belly, pink seafood hotpot, tom yum fried rice, railroad fried rice, pad see ew, cashew chicken, crispy wonton pad thai, papaya salad, and mango sticky rice. The crispy pork belly was pretty fire, it had a nice crispy skin and the sauce had a little kick to it. The papaya salad lowkey was a little bland but we also got it mild and I feel like it's weird to eat papaya salad with no spice. All the sauce was also just pooling at the bottom. The pink seafood hotpot was kinda like tom yum flavor but not as sour. I liked the broth tho, it also came with a decent amount of veggies. Both their tom yum and railroad fried rices were solid. I feel like you can't really go wrong with fried rice. Pad see ew noodles were cooked well and it was actually quite spicy for a medium. Cashew chicken had a little too much breading and was salty. The crispy wonton pad thai was something different. Didn't know how to feel about it at first but I loved snacking on it later on. They use real lump crab here too. I didn't really try the Panang curry so no comment abt that. I loved the coconut flavors of the mango sticky rice. I think this would've been much better if it was mango season a the mango was more juicier. They also have a nice lunch special platter where you basically get one of everything: entree, soup, app, dessert. They also have a sister restaurant called Yum Rise in Richmond. I'm curious about their shrimp custard curry in a coconut if I ever come back.

The restaurant was very busy at lunch time on a weekday and seems like a go-to stop for locals. There was a bit of a wait for food to arrive but the bento style noodles meal was quite good. I really liked that I could try a bit of everything, from appetizer, maincourse and dessert.

Service: service was good and fast. Food came out pretty fast! Food: I got the panang curry and my bf got a crispy noodle. I really enjoyed the taste of the panang curry! The only thing is, I wish it had more meat, it was mostly vegetables. Overall, still good! Will definitely be back!

Thai Tea: Sweet, delicious, and exactly what a traditional Thai tea should taste like--no complaints at all. It was rich, refreshing, and one of the highlights of the meal for me. Che Tai: The Che Tai tasted a little too artificial for my liking and was definitely different from the version I'm used to. It may have also seemed less sweet since I was drinking Thai tea alongside it, but overall, this was probably my least favorite drink of the night. Crying Tiger: This was probably my family's favorite dish of the evening. Paired with rice, the meat was flavorful and well-seasoned, though on its own it leaned slightly salty for me. The texture was also a bit too chewy, and I personally would have preferred a crispier bite. Even so, the flavor was still enjoyable, and both my father and brother really liked it. Grilled Atlantic Salmon Curry: The presentation was beautiful, and the salmon had a nice crisp on the outside. However, I could tell it was slightly overcooked, and the meat itself tasted a little bland, almost as if it had been frozen for too long. The Panang curry was comforting and coconut-forward with a creamy texture that I enjoyed, though it lacked the sharper punch I've had from other Panang curries. Lobster Papaya Salad: I liked this dish much more than the seafood salad. The seasoning was mellow, and the fresh young papaya was well-seasoned and refreshing. Unfortunately, the lobster still had a slight fishy taste that didn't sit well with me afterward. We ordered everything mild since my brother can't handle spice. My father thought the salad was too sour, but my brother enjoys sour flavors, so he liked it more than we did. I also personally didn't enjoy the green beans included in the salad. Yum Talay Seafood Salad: This salad had a softer, more acidic flavor, but I wish the taste had been crisper and brighter overall. The sourness felt muted in a way that didn't fully work for me. It was still decent, just not a standout dish for our family. Service & InKind Experience: The service throughout the meal was a big reason why I still gave this place 4-stars. Our waiter was attentive, friendly, and already familiar with the fact that we were using InKind, which made everything feel smooth and effortless when it came time to pay the bill. Overall, Thaicoon had beautiful presentation, attentive service, and a few dishes my family genuinely enjoyed. While some of the flavors didn't fully land for me personally, the atmosphere, service, and seamless InKind experience still made it a solid visit.
