What a great place! Super adorable location, great coffee, and freshly baked pastries every day. The staff are A+ and it's clean and cozy inside. By far my fave Charleston area coffee shop. The salads are good too!

This place is truly awesome! I had an iced latte, and my husband got a large iced mocha. We also tried the cherry Danish and the morning bun, which is like a cinnamon roll without cinnamon - a buttery, flaky, sweet roll. The service was fast and friendly.

Mea Cuppa overall is a nice coffee shop. I enjoyed the Spanish influence on the names of the coffees. I was excited when I saw that they had a latte with honey and cinnamon because that's exactly how I make mine at home. The coffee was good I just felt it could have been a little stronger.

I'm a fan of Mea Cuppa Coffee Lounge. I visited while traveling south through Charleston to my destination. Mea Cuppa was ready to access from the Interstate, except when they have a 5K run blocking the streets then you have to go way out of the way to get to Mea Cuppa. Mea Cuppa is a multi-roaster specialty coffee lounge. When I visited they served coffee from Onyx, Mountaineer, and two other very good specialty coffee roasters. Onyx is one of the best in the US. They use and sell equipment for brewing coffee that focuses on the art and craft of making coffee. Fellow Products, Chemex, and Hario are some of the brewing equipment I noticed. They have a nice Slayer espresso machine at one of their locations. The menu is a simple third wave coffee menu made of espresso and milk drinks, seasonal drinks, and coffee and tea drinks. Some pastry items were for sale. I bought a pour over to go. It was balanced, with fruity flavors-- The retro vibe is pretty cool. The staff are very friendly and know how to make specialty coffee. I will definitely stop by Mea Cuppa on my future travels.

Worth a visit. Very friendly staff welcoming every costumer and regular with a friendly hello and by their name. A fun varied menu that takes you away from the regular cookie cutter beverages found at chains

Passing through town on our way to colorado- so glad this place exists! Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious coffee. My iced Sakura latte was wonderful with its subtle yet perfect cherry blossom notes and almond whip ! A must try! Other things we got were a dark roast drip coffee - good acidic and pleasant flavor. Also chose a few things from the fridge. Recess mood drinks are always nice glad they carry a few flavors and the raw ginger turmeric camu camu superfood boss tonic a good addition to the morning. Love the mid century modern furniture , also the bar seats at the front window next to outlets look nice for having a laptop moment. Hope to stop by on the way back through !

Perfect coffee shop vibes with great coffee and pastries. Hit the "get Directions" button now. Ok. now that you are driving and reading reviews on your phone this place is great and Conveniently at the intersection of 64 and 77 right in Charleston. They feature somewhat local coffee companies such as mountaineer roasting Company. Bird rock roasting and Black white roasters. They offer pour over as well as espresso drinks and brewed coffee. I typically do a pour over of their decaf coffee which is very good. Today I have their brewed coffee which they called number 17, it's a very smooth coffee on the lighter side, not over roasted, excellent without adding cream or sugar to it. It would be my go to regular brew coffee at this location. I also ordered an iced decaf coffee which is espresso based as an Americano. It's very good as well. Pastries are on point, try the blackberry bar! Location tip. If you are just getting on and off the highway I recommend parking before you get to the coffee shop. But Directly across from the Coffee shop there is a parking lot that you can cut through and it will get you right back on the highway. If you park after the coffee shop you will have to go around a block or two to get back on the highway. Enjoy!

Their caramel latte is to die for. I've requested Latte art from the sweetest barista, and the owner/boss did it for me.

I walked up to find a couple of people working there who I take to be ownership. Notably, the reason I hadn't visited before is that I often travel on Sunday and they're closed on Sunday. You can run a business however you want I guess, but Sunday does seem like a time where a lot of people would want to be able to purchase some ice cream. In substance, the gelato selection was very good. They had a few non-dairy options. I picked several flavors that were wildly different, but was recommended to try something more consonant, which I suspect reflects a difference in thought processes between the more masculine high-decoupling mind and a contrasting holistic approach. Having said that, I went with the recommendation for what tasted like a very ripe banana flavor, as well as a tiramisu cream that definitely tasted like high quality tiramisu, and a pure hazelnut flavor. It was a high quality smooth dessert, and in relative terms, the price was less than what you'd pay at a high-end place in a big city. And while I can't say I've been to Italy, this gelato was as good as you'd get in any of the American places I've been to, so it's a great stop here in Charleston.

Dinner with friends then Caffe Romeo for dessert. The gelato was amazing as usual followed by a…read morechai latte for the road. The line was a little long, but the lone gal behind the counter handled patrons well. She never seemed flustered when filling orders, fulfilling the role of barista, running the register, and providing table service for those that were waiting for lattes and the like.
