My new favorite coffee shop in Charleston. We come once a year to visit my in laws. I'm so glad I found this place. They have ready made food so I grabbed a southwest quinoa bowl which was absolutely delicious. The sauce was amazing. I also got a pandan matcha latte which was also very good. They have so many interesting drink options that I'll definitely try more of their menu. Parking right out front is 60 cents for 24 minutes and you can use the park mobile app (parking is in increments of 12 minutes). Inside is bright, airy with tons of seating. I'm a fan of Mea Cuppa Coffee Lounge. I visited while traveling south through Charleston to my destination. Mea Cuppa was ready to access from the Interstate, except when they have a 5K run blocking the streets then you have to go way out of the way to get to Mea Cuppa. Mea Cuppa is a multi-roaster specialty coffee lounge. When I visited they served coffee from Onyx, Mountaineer, and two other very good specialty coffee roasters. Onyx is one of the best in the US. They use and sell equipment for brewing coffee that focuses on the art and craft of making coffee. Fellow Products, Chemex, and Hario are some of the brewing equipment I noticed. They have a nice Slayer espresso machine at one of their locations. The menu is a simple third wave coffee menu made of espresso and milk drinks, seasonal drinks, and coffee and tea drinks. Some pastry items were for sale. I bought a pour over to go. It was balanced, with fruity flavors-- The retro vibe is pretty cool. The staff are very friendly and know how to make specialty coffee. I will definitely stop by Mea Cuppa on my future travels. read more

Ok. now that you are driving and reading reviews on your phone this place is great and Conveniently at the intersection of 64 and 77 right in Charleston. They feature somewhat local coffee companies such as mountaineer roasting Company. Bird rock roasting and Black white roasters. They offer pour over as well as espresso drinks and brewed coffee. I typically do a pour over of their decaf coffee which is very good. Today I have their brewed coffee which they called number 17, it's a very smooth coffee on the lighter side, not over roasted, excellent without adding cream or sugar to it. It would be my go to regular brew coffee at this location. I also ordered an iced decaf coffee which is espresso based as an Americano. It's very good as well. Pastries are on point, try the blackberry bar! Location tip. If you are just getting on and off the highway I recommend parking before you get to the coffee shop. But Directly across from the Coffee shop there is a parking lot that you can cut through and it will get you right back on the highway. If you park after the coffee shop you will have to go around a block or two to get back on the highway. Enjoy! read more

Drove from Downtown Charleston to this location. Was poured a delicious, amazing cup of coffee. Got on the freeway and drove to Weston, West Virginia... While drinking amazing coffee listened to some jams on the stereo, and really enjoyed the beautiful West Virginia scenery, and really enjoyed this beautiful cup of coffee...
