Worse meal prep company EVER! Good food but lousy customer service, worst delivery service! They give you the run around and can't keep promises and the list goes on. Food was ok. Not the best. The reason why I'm giving one star is that they never read my food restriction list. I received my 5 meals 3 weeks in a row. First week: I filled out the food restriction about no onions and no shrimp. Well, it came with lots of onions. Second week: I contacted customer service to which they told me where to fill it out again on my profile. So I did. No onions. And no shrimp. Well, it came with very little onions. You can tell they tried a little. Third week: I figured they know my restrictions now, I should trust them. It's on my profile. Well it came with lots of onions and shrimp! I've never had an issue with any other meal service like this. I have a restriction to those not for fun, but because I'm allergic. If they can't read their customers restrictions I want no part of it. I couldn't eat more than half my meals because of it so I've wasted enough money. read more

The food is honestly super awesome! My suggestions are the following: (1) Have more vegan and dairy free options. I didn't enjoy having meal repeats since I can't have dairy. (2) Label meals with specific ingredients such as cilantro. My wife has the gene that makes it taste like soap. (3) Less rice. There is literally rice in EVERY lunch and dinner meal. I don't need rice in every meal. Maybe mix in some couscous and noodle dishes. Otherwise, amazing service. Super easy to subscribe and cancel. The food was decent but the customer service is awful. They emailed me a promo to add breakfast for the week for an extra $29.50 which I opted into. When they sent me my invoice for the week, they charged me an extra $60 on top of that and added on 5 meals. I emailed them immediately to fix the issue and they responded that they would solve the problem right away. I emailed them 2 days later and received a response that they were looking into it. 2 days later I receive my order with the extra meals I didn't order or want and emailed them again about the error. The emailed me with a generic response about delivery instructions that didn't even apply to my email. I responded again and was told they're looking into it. They never did anything about the error on their end. I would have stayed with this company for the meals but the customer service being so unhelpful and stealing money from me was ridiculous. I have been using this meal prep company for about 3 months. I loved that they had breakfast options. The food is tasty minus the veggies. It is almost always the same pea:carrot/eggplant/bell pepper mush mix instead of actual veggies. I canceled my subscription this week however due to the nonexistent customer service. I was delivered the wrong meals THREE WEEKS IN A ROW. I tried to fix the issue via their online chat. I was given an automated response and was directed to fill out a stupid form online. I provided photos of the wrong meals because that's what I had to do the first time and was told it would be resolved in 24 hours. I have still not heard back or been refunded or received the corrected meals. This company has potential but needs to get their shit together. read more

Unfortunately, I have to revise my original review because I've been using this meal prep delivery service for 2 years now but am being forced to cancel due to a huge decline in service. For the past 6 - 9 months, Meal Prep Sunday has become very inconsistent. Half of my orders (at least) are either the incorrect meals or wildly incorrect macros. The whole reason I use this service is to make sure I get my protein throughout the day. For any future subscribers be very careful about the macros they provide on their labels. I've actually had to start weighing the portions myself to double check and they've been consistently lower than the label. They used to be good about admitting to their errors and crediting my account for a future meal, but with how often it's incorrect now it just doesn't make sense to continue using this service. In addition, the most recent time this happened, Meal Prep Sunday refused to admit to their error and continued to say it's correct even with photo evidence. I tried to stick with them despite all these problems because I really did like their food for the most part, but it's not worth it to continue going back and forth with them every week due to errors. I think there are better options out there and these meals are no longer worth $12. TLDR; macros are not correct and customer service will not help you. Don't use this service if you're serious about tracking your protein. read more

Meal Prep Sunday Service has the worst terrible customer service. The absolute worst I've ever had to deal with. Do not waste your time. Few examples: First, I had to pause my account because I was in the middle of moving. When I reactivated my account, I changed it to my new address. The website is not user friendly at all. My new address was reflected on my account but each week I would get a text confirming my delivery to my old address. I had to reach out each week to make sure my deliveries were going to my new address. I even reached out to support to make sure my new address was permanent on my account. One week a driver was already on the way to deliver to my old address and luckily the driver was gracious enough to make a 25 min detour to my new address after I explained the situation. This took me about 3 weeks reaching out to support each week just to fix my address. Second, I was not receiving the meal selections I selected each week for FIVE WEEKS in a row. I reached out on customer support chat on the homepage who was no help and told me to submit a ticket. My tickets would get closed out every week with the same copy and paste answer. I even texted customer service and would receive the same answers. There was no real solution or anyone who actually looked into my account (same issue as my address). They would not give me a refund on my account, only extra meals the next week to compensate. I told them multiple times I did not want extra meals because I could not eat that many meals in a week which is why I chose a specific meal plan. Not only did my tickets get closed out with no solution, they even addressed me by the WRONG name! It is clear they are just copy and pasting every answer to all their tickets. I reopened the ticket letting them know that was not my name and I wanted an update on my issue. They also took no accountability for calling me the wrong name They responded and closed out the ticket saying the fixed my issue of reactivating my account. That was not what the ticket was about. It was about receiving a credit to my account for the wrong meal selections. It is very clear no one is actually reading these tickets or wanting to help. Again, do not waste your time. There are other similar meal prep services out there. read more

The service started out great then quickly went downhill. Was having 15 meals delivered a week (several meals were duplicated such as I would receive 3 of the same omelet (not enough variety)). Some of the sauces/dishes were very spicy and unappealing. Had a dispute with the discounts there where giving and was explained that you are charged full price then the following week you would receive a refund (two of which I didn't receive. So I emailed them at 9am on Wednesday having concerns about the discounts and charges. They replied back at 12:18. So I told them I wanted to cancel my account. The reply that I received was that since I used the phrase "I think I want to cancel my account" and that I didn't say cancel before noon I would still be charged. the thing a hate is when you order the food you "want" and then they give something completely different that you absolutely can not eat because of allergies, all they do is give you an extra meal the following week. Now you are shorted your meals this week because you have to throw it away. Now you either have to go out to eat, which I can't because of disabilities, or you have to order food online. Before reviewing the food I would like to talk about the business practices and then move on to the food. The first week I received so many texts prior to my delivery. In addition to links to edit my menu selection I received advertisement after advertisement for a presidents day sale that I had already taken advantage of for my first order. It was extremely confusing as I was already a customer but I was getting advertisements daily as if I was not. After my first week's delivery I continued to receive the same sales texts, but nothing else. Then on Friday when it was too late to make any changes I received a text that my order was scheduled to be out for delivery after 13:01pm on Sunday. I searched for over an hour through their website, my texts, and my emails to find the current week's menu. The reason this was important to me was because the prior week I had to make several changes because so much of the food sounded unappetizing. I was not able to find a menu for the current week. The only menu I had access to was for the link from the week before. The damage was done. The order was in and there was nothing I could do to stop it or edit it. So I would receive the order but that would definitely be the last. I do not like tricky or feeling like a company did something intentionally and unfairly for a profit. I believe the menu link was never sent because it would have been a reminder to cancel if I didn't want to continue, and since my first week was at a discount they wanted to be sure to make a profit. So I canceled the service. Now on to the food. The first weeks menu was very unimpressive. I made several changes to the menu options because so many things didn't sound good at all. Mostly because the ingredients felt random and just didn't go well together. When I received the meals I found exactly that. I was hoping that I would try something I wouldn't normally eat together and be pleasantly surprised. Unfortunately that was not the case, the sauces provided with the meals also clashed with the flavors. The veggie mixtures were strange and contained vegetables that did not pair well. The food was edible and not absolutely terrible but I would not categorize it as good. Now to the second week's menu. I finally received the link for the menu for on Sunday morning just before the delivery. This week's menu sounded much more appealing. Not everything of course, but the majority of it. As of today I have eaten 2 of this week's meals and both were good enough I would eat them again, but still not extraordinarily delicious. Unfortunately for the company they never responded to my message with regard to the concerns I had about the communication and never receiving the menu and being given a chance to make changes. I would have continued service with them after this week's redemption in the menu. Now I will be trying out Factor. read more

My meals came Sunday in an awesome reusable cooler tote with ice packs. The meals were sealed for freshness and mine were labeled as "female" to differentiate between my husband's meals.
