My wife had a soup with Tostones, and she was brought back to childhood when her Abuela would make something so wonderful to be devoured with a spoon. We stopped by on a Monday not realizing they were closed, and as we were walking in, the manager Pablo kindly let us know. But instead of just turning us away, he went above and beyond in a way you truly don't see often anymore. He took the time to recommend another nearby restaurant, gave us keychains, and then--on our way out--stopped us to ask our names and told us he would take care of our entire bill at the next place. That level of generosity and kindness completely blew us away. You can tell right away that this is a place that truly cares about people, not just business. Because of Pablo, we will absolutely be coming back to La Finca on a day they're open--and we're actually looking forward to it even more now. If this is how they treat people when they're closed, I can only imagine how amazing the experience is when they're open. Highly recommend supporting a business like this. My only constructive feedback for the cake is that the cake would be even better if it was a little less dry as far as texture but that can be hard to balance as you don't want the cake to become too wet over time due to it soaking in the milk. I can't wait to revisit: I'll be getting the tres leches again and would love to try the El Guey.
