My…read moresister-in-law, son-in-law and I were in the waiting room, and I decided to show them an incredible knife my son had made for me. It was also incredibly sharp! I pulled it out of the scabbard and managed to cut two fingers in three locations. And one cut was deep, bleeding like a stuck pig. My son in law loaded me up and took me around the corner to Prompt Urgent Care. What a bunch of nice folks. The Dr sewed me up quickly and was so concerned she might be hurting me. You. Couldn't ask for more thoughtful and compassionate people. I just wish this location was close to my home. And yes, they finished me up fast enough that we were able to get back to Foundation before my wife was out of surgery. Prompt Urgent Care saved the day. (and my finger)!

I replied, " I have something going on upper respiratory?!?" I was then told, "we are about to close...so..." I asked, "so you will not see me?" She said, "no, I can schedule you for tomorrow" I replied, "so... walk-ins are welcome" she simply said, "NO!" ALSO the place was E M P T Y, empty!! I detest going to doctors lest they take a blood sample and discover jackal DNA, but I had no choice this time; The Beast is supposed to spread pestilence and disease, but he cares too much for his long-suffering parents and colleagues to expose them to COVID-19 (a distinct possibility given my symptoms). I searched online for nearby med clinics and found this place located only ten minutes from my home. I was impressed by the cleanliness of the location, the prompt service, and the overall care I received. When I arrived, I expected an inordinately long wait (the norm for doctor's offices, I've found), yet the doctor admitted me only a few minutes after I completed the online consent forms. I'm absurdly neurotic and iatrophobic, so the minimal wait time helped quell my anxiety. The doctor I saw was friendly and ingratiating. When I requested a few moments to meditate and relax prior to getting my blood pressure checked, he was patient and reassuring. My blood pressure and pulse were still ridiculously high (I should be dead) but comparatively low by my standards. I attribute that lower-than-average reading to his bedside manner. I feared that I had contracted COVID, but he suggested that my symptoms were more in line with the flu. Nevertheless, he swabbed my nostrils for both viruses (an unpleasant procedure, I assure you) and later determined that I had neither. I had what he termed an "unspecified flu-like respiratory virus" that would likely clear up in a few days. That was a relief! If you live near Helotes and find yourself in need of non-emergency medical attention, then I would highly recommend visiting this FastMed location. The staff were friendly, the place was immaculate, and the quality of service was among the best I've ever experienced at a medical facility. Tell them The Antichrist sent you and get a free five-piece order of nuggets from Chick-fil-A next door.

My husband and I came in for a scheduled appointment with his primary care provider following a…read morerecent accident. He had already been treated in the hospital and was specifically instructed to follow up with his PCP, and he was also due for his annual visit. Unfortunately, we were met with extremely poor customer service at the front desk. The receptionist repeatedly stated that the clinic 'doesn't treat accidents,' despite us clearly explaining multiple times that he was not seeking accident treatment, but rather a hospital discharge follow-up and routine care. We even provided hospital documentation showing he had already been treated, yet there was little effort or willingness to review or upload the paperwork into his chart. The lack of listening, understanding, and basic professionalism was very concerning. As a nurse, I found this experience especially frustrating and disappointing. Access to primary care--especially for appropriate follow-up--should not be this difficult. After reading similar experiences from other patients, I feel confident that changing providers is the safest and most appropriate decision for us. Due to the nature of this encounter, I also intend to report this experience and provide appropriate documentation to outside agencies to ensure this issue is addressed and does not continue to affect other patients. You never know the circumstances or backgrounds of the patients and families you are interacting with--compassion, professionalism, and proper communication are essential in healthcare.

I've tried numerous times to have my records changed over to another doctor and they make it very difficult for you. They will also bill your insurance for procedures that weren't done, even though it was proven that they weren't and then turn you over to a collection agency AND your insurance has paid their part of what they shouldn't have paid to begin with.
