The restaurant is pretty large and laidback while having some nice touches like an indoor tree. After ordering at the front counter, we brought a number to our table, and our food came out pretty quickly! I got the chicken shawarma, and it was delicious! Everything tasted very fresh and had that quintessential Mediterranean flavor. We also had the classic hummus and pita (complimentary), which were perfect. We arrived just after the lunch rush and placed our order right away. We decided to sit on the patio since it was still a little congested inside. Our food arrived surprisingly fast and was very good. My daughter had a "Big Bowl"with beef, and I had "Meddys Main Plate"with lamb. The portion size was more than adequate for a very fair price while not being ridiculously large serving. For ordering at a counter, the service was good, and we never felt ignored as though we had ordered, they had our money, and were done with us. Once we sat down, we were given complimentary bread, and our food arrived shortly after, with staff returning to check on us a few times. The dining room team keeps you supplied with water and pitas. The portions are fantastic and easily make seconds for home. The kitchen gets great meals out quickly. I didn't know you had to order at the counter, if I had I wouldn't have chosen it. I prefer to be waited on when I go out. The other issue I had was the noise. Oh my!! We've been eyeing this place since before they opened. We finally found a day that worked. You order at the counter like a fast-food burger joint and that's where any similarities end. They give you a number to put on your table and they bring you your food when it's ready. We went at 4:30om so there wasn't a lot of people. But the staff was awesome!! The guy who took our order was the one who explained the process. I ordered the pita bread while I waited for my dinner partner to arrive. I didn't get any dipping sauce and he must've noticed because he brought me a dipping cup of the roasted pepper sauce. The pita bread was warm and soft. Like nothing I've had before. The sauce is phenomenal. You can literally use that on anything you eat. It's the ketchup of Mediterranean food dipping sauces. I also had the garlicky potatoes. I drizzled a little olive oil over them but I think they'd be just fine without. Maybe better. But they came out piping hot with a little crunch. I had the Banging Beef. It was very filling. I ended up taking half of it home. My dinner partner had the banging beef as well with a side Mediterranean salad. She lioved both items. The staff was prompt at checking on us throughout and removing our plates when we were done. And everybody was pleasant and outgoing. I'll definitely be back, even as a delivery or to-go option.
