This place exceeded expectations, I honestly had no idea what it was going to be like, but DANG this place is good! The service is fast, the line was pretty long when we got there and we got up to the front and had our order in very quickly. Before getting our food we picked a nice place to sit, there was a range of options and also the napkins were so high quality! That is usually not something I pay attention to, it was nice! The food was PHENOMENAL! The Pita Bread and Hummis were just perfect, I wouldn't change a single thing about them. The Citrus Salmon was amazing, perfectly cooked and balanced with the veggies and sauce, I absolutely loved it. The triple M margarita was so smooth, one of those drinks where you almost wanted to call it "juice" because of how smooth and well balanced it was. The tiramisu was something I had never ever tried before and it was delightful, a nice little treat for the end of the amazing dinner! The plates are all well sized and if you want to share you definitely can, we had more than enough to take home by the end of the meal. First, the decoration is amazing! The seats are well spaced out and that makes it very comfortable having conversations on our table. This is my first time trying Mediterranean food and I think I will definitely be coming back again. We had the lab main plate with the side of hummus and the lamb is so tender and the chips, dipping into the hummus is one of my favorites. We also had the grilled citrus salmon with the add on of Spanish eggplant and the salmon very well cooked, and both of them are flavorful! The only thing that is unique is that we had to order at the counter and then look for our own table to get seated. It is not a deal breaker but it's just an fyi so that you'll have an expectation of that before visiting as the food is really worth trying. I will definitely be visiting again. read more

I was very excited to hear Meddys opened. I've been looking for a Mediterranean option. They really are doing a nice job of being attentive, clearing plates and refilling drinks. They have lots of gluten free options and delicious gluten free pita it's more like a wrap. All the food was flavorful and fresh and really really hit the spot. We had a wonderful experience here. The young lady who took our order was informative, warm, and genuinely hospitable, setting a great tone for our visit. The food arrived quickly and everything we tried was excellent in flavor. The Baba Ghanoush was smooth and flavorful, and the Grilled Salmon was cooked perfectly--tender, well-seasoned, and satisfying. The kids bowl was also a hit--simple, tasty, and an incredible value at $1.99. I ordered the Shawrambaa, which was absolutely delicious, but I found the portion size to be quite small, especially with no side or accompaniment. A bit more on the plate would have made it feel more complete. The place was empty when we walked in around 11:30am. By 12pm almost every seat was packed! Great service!! You order and pay first and then they give you a number and then you go find a seat and everything gets brought to you. I've been eating Meddys since high school when they first started in Wichita. I got so excited hearing that they were opening a location in Omaha and had to go check out the location. Love the layout and decoration inside. The food was great and it also comes with a complimentary pita bread! Had a lot of leftovers which was great because I just packed it the next day for lunch. I was a little nervous about the service situation-- knowing I order at the counter, seat myself, and then they give a number you set at the table so they can bring food to you. This place does not give fast food vibes at all. The food options are amazing and they deliver the flavor. The portions are huge and the prices are exceptional. The appetizer and meals were huge! My Meddys Main Plate was exactly what I was looking for. I love that their menu clearly states any allergies or preferences. The seating area is gorgeous and plentiful. You do have to order drinks separately; the bar drink prices great and the cocktail options are unique. We got the full plate with lamb and the steak shawarma wrap. The full plate is massive with potatoes, cilantro salad, grilled vegetables, and a huge serving of meat. The ratio of meat, sauce, and wrap was absolutely perfect. We also ended up getting the ice cream dessert - this is a MUST! This is an update review on a recent visit to Meddys. If you read my initial review you can see that I really enjoyed Meddys the first time I was there and have been 2 other times that all were great. However, I was finally able to get my son and his family to meet us there (schedules) and it was not good. First off the first order taker was too quiet against the kitchen noise and I had a hard time understanding her but we worked it out. My wife and I got there earlier than the kids so we got some drinks and hummus and talked and waited on them to arrive. They did and we went up to order. I don't know their menu by heart or what they call everything. I ordered a Meddys Main Plate and asked for Roast Chicken because it is a pick your protein plate. Now it gets interesting. The Roast Chicken they serve is called Garlicky Chicken and it has a plate of its own elsewhere on the menu - I misunderstood. So what I got was the pulled/shredded/chuncked chicken and to me that is not what I ordered. I carried my plate up to the front and talked to the Manager on duty. He informed me that they don't have "Roast Chicken" but call it "Garlicky Chicken" and it isn't an option for the Meddys Main Plate. So their server gave me the Meddys Main Plate with Chicken and didn't make the obvious deduction that she should check and see for sure what chicken I wanted. I said the words Roast Chicken to her multiple times. This is explained to the manager and he says "So what's the problem we gave you what you ordered? What do you want?". What a smart aleck! I guess the mistake was on me but Garlicky Chicken is just very well seasoned with garlic - ROAST CHICKEN. The manager said that there is not any roast chicken on the menu. Well the web page menu describes the Garlicky Chicken plate as " 1/2 roast chicken, garlicky potatoes, tomato-onion relish, pickles". They should have asked me when I ordered for more information on what I wanted. Then the manager treats me like he did. Well I wanted Roast Chicken with Garlic and all the manager would offer was for me to order and pay for a whole other plate which I stupidly did because I was trying to have family time and I was ready to eat and visit. No he didn't offer to get me a Garlicky half Chicken and bring it to the table - maybe for something less than the price of a whole plate. Maybe he could have supremely exceeded expectations and comp that half chicken. No he didn't. He didn't express any regrets at all just sold me possibly the last thing that Meddys will ever sell to me. My son and I were both in the food service industry and I hope we never provided so poor an interaction with a customer. Overall the food was still good and the wait staff in the dining room were friendly and efficient. I didn't finish my meal and the poor treatment from the manager messed up a rare family time going out with my son, daughter-in-law, and 3 grandsons. Thanks - Meddys read more

So happy I was able to check this restaurant out!! Everything was just so exceptional!! I went on a Friday night, and it was crazzzyyy packed!! They have public parking spaces around the restaurant as well, but it's located in Village Pointe so wherever you park around there, it is walking distance! Especially on these beautiful summer nights! They have tons of seating inside, with some booths, and patio seating as well. They also have bar seating available and some special cocktails that I have to try next time! I ordered my food to-go, and decided on the lamb for my main Meddys plate and it came with grilled vegetables and the lame was so tender and tasted absolutely amazing!! I also got the amazing falafel that came with hummus and amazing pita bread along with it and I also had the pita bread with my lamb! Amazing! The side of garlic potatoes are a must and you get so much!!! That doesn't stop there, they also have a sauce station with 3 different sauces that pair so well with your meal and I highly recommend getting the garlic sauce!! Overall, service was amazing and so friendly and efficient, even with how crazy busy they were! Past visits and experiences were good, last night was a disaster. Line to the door that didn't move, empty tables, and two to three cash registers open with what appeared to be thinly veiled chaos behind the counter. I ordered what I thought would be good - main plate, and it was nothing more than stacks of over cooked and dry steak and chicken with a big heap of cilantro...found out later that it was missing the mixed salad. It needed something so, absent anyone stopping to ask if the food was OK, I went to the counter and asked for a side of hummus to make my meal better. A good establishment would've comped the small bow, instead, $4.5 for about 4 oz. No table service for anyone that I could see, instead the end, we had to go to the counter to ask for containers to carry out what was left. My last time. read more
