I'm so glad I was referred to this place.. my truck broke down woth transmission problems (it's only a 2017) and I was referred to Tony he was very helpful and went the extra mile to help me through dealinh so out my insurance claims adjuster. Ended up paying out off ppocket but he did an amazing job and even offered two choices old or new transmission. Old was way cheaper but it works great. And something else brije because Fords are made out of plastic he had it fixed in two days!! Very honest mechanic even spends the time showing me what went wrong and how it happened. Prior to finding Tony, I was taking my cars to the dealership repair shops and couldn't help but feel that they were being dishonest and ripping me off every time. That's not the case with Tony. This review is long overdue. I highly recommend Media City Auto Repair. After moving to Burbank, I had been on the lookout for a good auto repair place that does good work and doesn't try to overcharge. The first time I used their services, my car needed a lot! I had to replace all my brake pads, a few rotors and a whole new compressor as my AC broke. Tony quoted me a price quickly and although he realized he under quoted me, he held firm on the price quoted and everything was repaired thoroughly. I returned a few months ago and was pleased both with the price charged as well as the work completed. He's also been kind enough to pick me up / drop me off when my car was completed as I live pretty nearby. I see a lot of good reviews, however, let me share my experience. Toyota Tacoma needs u joint replacement. That's all I needed done. It's a 2 hour process and $45 parts. Tony there tried to quote me $500 for the job stating he needed half the day to repair. If I had the tools I'd do it myself. I was recommended by a friend. Oh well, I found a guy to do it for $150 and he did it perfectly. Thanks for trying to rob me. I also need my a/c fixed, guess there's business to be brought elsewhere too. read more

Horrible experience! Make your own conclusions based on what happened to me. I needed a rear brake and rotor replacement job on my toyota. I asked for toyota parts and they quoted me a price of $590. Thinking that was awfully high, I called around and found out that the going rate for a job like that (WITHOUT genuine toyota parts) was around $320. I phoned back and requested non-toyota parts and the guy said that wouldn't save me very much...only about $60! I then phoned the Toyota Dealer service department and they told me that, with toyota parts, they could do my car for $420! In the meanwhile Media City Auto Repair phoned my wife twice, each time telling her they could lower the price because they made, what they called, a mistake! Still, they only got it down to $480 (without genuine toyota parts) I finally went to a different place and got my car done for $323! This is half of what Media City originally wanted to charge me!. read more
