And on top of all that, the sushi rice was overcooked and didn't have any seasoning, as required in Sushi restaurants that have integrity. The service was decent, but you could obviously see the lack of knowledge and training (which is the management's fault). It's very interesting to me, that they have a very large banner on their building, declaring that they have been voted as the best sushi restaurant in town. That may be true, it is in Woodland. I will admit that I am somewhat hard to please, being a veteran chef for 45 years, and a master sushi chef for a decade. But restaurants who claim to be the best, should stand by their word, so customers can see and feel the integrity of their fully trained amazing staff. I will not Ever return to this establishment. Restaurant ambiance was casual. The flavorful lunch dishes were thoughtfully packaged w foil inside the containers to avoid potential spills.
