Beef Gyro, Turkish Style. Absolutely Amazing!!!!
    Kevin S.

It's been interesting over the last couple of years. During our first couple of visits, everything was beyond perfect. That being said, the staff has been excellent during every visit. The people are always nice and helpful. Lately it seems to be a little hit and miss. Not sure if it's a different cook or if we're hitting during the wrong time. The produce the last two times hasn't been where it was before. The waffle fries seem different & overcooked. The BAKLAVA selection is still great !

Always delicious and fresh tasting. Add feta, it's the perfect tang with the lamb. Their grape leaf wrapped appetizers are so tasty too. One of my favorites in RPM!

Tonight I tried the lamb shish kebab lavash wrapped. You decide a falafel... Once again, the service is quick and the food was absolutely excellent.

Reno Market eatery Mediterranean Bae. Ordered a lamb with red sauce in a wrap form. The meatballs of lamb were very tiny. Like 11/4"x3/4th" they were also very tough. I am not used to tough lamb kabob balls. It was not worth the money I paid for it. 1/10 Service was ok Probably will not be back for the price and the quality of the food.

Lamb and beef gyro with tzatziki sauce on fresh pita

Mediterranean Bae is a good choice at the Reno Public Market and I've made this choice before. The lamb and beef gyro is fresh , tasty and a full meal without fries so I didn't get them. Plentiful meat and the tzatziki sauce with the fresh warm pita was worth visiting again. My wife chose a platter with hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves and tzatziki sauce. She loved it and as it is a large portion took about half home. As good as the food is the woman taking the orders should be more polite. Asking a question about the bread options isn't a reason to be curt. Definitely will be back for a nice meal as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Located in a the public house, this cleverly named eatery is one of many diverse food choices. Having eat a lot of Mediterranean food in many states, I would like to like this place more but it just the basic flavor and nothing as memorable as I would like.

I asked the lady behind the counter to recommend something and she said the Gyro wrap Lavash style, with the tzatziki and hot sauce mixed. It was a great recommendation and I enjoyed my meal!

I've been wanting to try their food for a while now. Played safe and ordered a falafel, and I also tried their dessert, too. They cook to order, and like the other locations at RPM, they give you device that beeps once your food is ready. So you can walk around and check put the other places while waiting on your food. One suggestion is to order ahead. They have their online menu, which also has EXTRA items on menu to choose from. The food was really delicious and well balanced. The plate comes with a salad on the side and a portion of waffle fries.

Super tasty stop - my first time at the Reno Public Market. What a fun upscale food court experience. I got the beef gyro pita. It came with tasty sweet potato waffle fries. The tzatziki sauce was great and meat was well seasoned. I didn't see an option for hot sauce - I would have loved a bit on top. Service was prompt and ambience was lively but not crazy crowded or noisy - I think coming for an early lunch helped.

This place wasn't bad. It was my first time entering the Reno Public Market and I got food from Mediterranean Bae to-go. Maybe it would've been better if I ate it fresh at the market instead of taking it home, but it didn't really wow me? There was plenty of parking outside. I got the Gyro Wrap with chicken and Bursa Iskender with chicken and kibbeh as an appetizer. I liked the waffle fries that came with the Gyro Wrap. I got the bae sauce, tzatziki sauce, and tomato butter sauce on the side. I liked the bae sauce the most. The kibbeh was good, with the ground beef, spices, and onion. Overall, not a bad place to get Mediterranean food if you're in the area.

I found that place online. I ordered beef-lamb gyro bowl and chicken shish kebab bowl. The rice was not fresh! At least couple days old. You should be careful when you eat the rice for your teeth! Portion size was okay tho. Chicken shish kebab tho!!!! They forgot to put chicken on my bowl or something.. baklava's also was not fresh. You can tell by the display even before you taste it. I can't complaint anything about service and ambiance. It was a latino night so at least we enjoyed salsa at the food court..

Beef & Lamb combo plate with falafel side
    Crystal C.

I really enjoyed this dish! The falafel was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. Paired with the tzatziki sauce. The rice beef and lamb mix are a go too. They provide enough protein to keep me going on my busy day. I had the salad mix on the side it was a good mixture of acidity and veggie flavor. The market area was kinda slow so it was a nice quiet lunch. Visit this spot for your Mediterranean food needs!! Quick service as well very nice staff

Like fine wine, Aladdin's gets better with age. I have loved watching it evolve over the years,…read moreespecially the restaurant, which started as a small offering and has now really come into its own. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.

You can build a bowl, salad, wrap, or anything in between. I was so impressed with the selection of toppings and proteins! You can do chicken, gyro meat, or beef, and load it up with all kinds of Mediterranean treats. I ordered a salad with chicken. The portion size is huge! I found myself out and about with just my son and and we both thought a char grilled kebab sounded like a fun dinner experiment. We popped in and found who were guessing is the owner's child at the register and placed our order for their signature kebab made from ground chicken and Afghani spices. The plate came with sumac spiked basmati rice, two pieces of the chicken kebab and a small green salad plus a green hot sauce. The kebab was tender and juicy with a great flavor profile and a nice bit of charcoal flavor. We thought the rice was actually exceptional light and fluffy with a hint of that citrus sea tang from the sumac, in a buttery finish, made this a nice light side to the kebab. The salad was fresh and crunchy with cucumber, lettuce, and bell peppers and that green hot sauce was really great and we used it as a dressing because the salad did not come with one. For $16 I just felt like the value was a bit often the plate needed at least one more piece of the kebab because when finished with a small tiny salad and the kebab, we were left with a mountain of rice and that is south wasteful. I just wish the plates here were a bit more valued oriented and I guess it will take more people eating here to kind of drive that up. Highly recommend giving it a try plus the market has some really fun fines too. Share your review and let me know what you think.
