    Appetizer platter - $20
    Ashley G.

The food was good and the service was friendly. I ordered the 3 app platter with dolmas, babaganoush, and falafel. The falafel was quite good and all the rest was fine. The $20 charge felt like a high price tag for rice, chickpeas, and eggplant as the ingredients, but it hit the spot while in the market.

I loveee Mediterranean/Middle Eastern food so anytime I can get some gyros I'm down. I've been here before but this time I ordered the chicken gyro wrap with fries which was delicious. The Istanbul Donner plate, the baklava, hummus and the tzatziki are all great. It's definitely overpriced and not my favorite gyro place but will hit the spot forsure.

Beef Gyro, Turkish Style. Absolutely Amazing!!!!

It's been interesting over the last couple of years. During our first couple of visits, everything was beyond perfect. That being said, the staff has been excellent during every visit. The people are always nice and helpful. Lately it seems to be a little hit and miss. Not sure if it's a different cook or if we're hitting during the wrong time. The produce the last two times hasn't been where it was before. The waffle fries seem different & overcooked. The BAKLAVA selection is still great !

Always delicious and fresh tasting. Add feta, it's the perfect tang with the lamb. Their grape leaf wrapped appetizers are so tasty too. One of my favorites in RPM!

Tonight I tried the lamb shish kebab lavash wrapped. You decide a falafel... Once again, the service is quick and the food was absolutely excellent.

Reno Market eatery Mediterranean Bae. Ordered a lamb with red sauce in a wrap form. The meatballs of lamb were very tiny. Like 11/4"x3/4th" they were also very tough. I am not used to tough lamb kabob balls. It was not worth the money I paid for it. 1/10 Service was ok Probably will not be back for the price and the quality of the food.

Lamb and beef gyro with tzatziki sauce on fresh pita
    Jim W.

Mediterranean Bae is a good choice at the Reno Public Market and I've made this choice before. The lamb and beef gyro is fresh , tasty and a full meal without fries so I didn't get them. Plentiful meat and the tzatziki sauce with the fresh warm pita was worth visiting again. My wife chose a platter with hummus, falafel, stuffed grape leaves and tzatziki sauce. She loved it and as it is a large portion took about half home. As good as the food is the woman taking the orders should be more polite. Asking a question about the bread options isn't a reason to be curt. Definitely will be back for a nice meal as soon as possible. Enjoy!

Located in a the public house, this cleverly named eatery is one of many diverse food choices. Having eat a lot of Mediterranean food in many states, I would like to like this place more but it just the basic flavor and nothing as memorable as I would like.

I've been wanting to try their food for a while now. Played safe and ordered a falafel, and I also tried their dessert, too. They cook to order, and like the other locations at RPM, they give you device that beeps once your food is ready. So you can walk around and check put the other places while waiting on your food. One suggestion is to order ahead. They have their online menu, which also has EXTRA items on menu to choose from. The food was really delicious and well balanced. The plate comes with a salad on the side and a portion of waffle fries.

    Beef gyro pita

Super tasty stop - my first time at the Reno Public Market. What a fun upscale food court experience. I got the beef gyro pita. It came with tasty sweet potato waffle fries. The tzatziki sauce was great and meat was well seasoned. I didn't see an option for hot sauce - I would have loved a bit on top. Service was prompt and ambience was lively but not crazy crowded or noisy - I think coming for an early lunch helped.

I asked the lady behind the counter to recommend something and she said the Gyro wrap Lavash style, with the tzatziki and hot sauce mixed. It was a great recommendation and I enjoyed my meal!

I have loved watching it evolve over the years,…read moreespecially the restaurant, which started as a small offering and has now really come into its own. We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.

You can build a bowl, salad, wrap, or anything in between. I was so impressed with the selection of toppings and proteins! You can do chicken, gyro meat, or beef, and load it up with all kinds of Mediterranean treats. I ordered a salad with chicken. The portion size is huge! I added feta cheese, cucumbers and tomatoes (those come together), peppers, Kalamata olives, and red onion. Then they allow you to choose a few sauces, and I went with cilantro sauce and a Greek vinaigrette. I was shocked by how fresh-tasting everything was, how huge the portion size was, and how affordable it was. This place is a game-changer, and I wish there were locations all over. I don't get to the Midtown location very often, but when I do, I'm glad I came. Located in a little shopping center off Virginia Street it's centrally located in the heart of Reno. Outdoor/Indoor seating is available offering a nice shaded and/or air conditioned dining area. When we arrived, we were seated immediately, which was a great start. The restaurant was busy, but no busier than many other places we've visited. After being seated, however, we waited... and waited... and waited for someone to even acknowledge us. Nothing. During that time, we watched our server attend to several other tables, clear dishes, grab items, and process payments. We also noticed two employees standing near the register. One of them looked over at our table multiple times, so it was obvious they knew we were there. Still, no one came over to greet us or let us know someone would be with us shortly. As we looked around, we realized we were the only Asian family in the restaurant. Whether intentional or not, it left us feeling overlooked, uncomfortable, and wondering if we were being treated differently. It was an awful feeling. Eventually, our server came to our table but never apologized for the long wait or acknowledged that we'd been sitting there unattended. By then, the experience had already left a bad impression. I was there with my husband and our three boys, and it was difficult trying to explain why we seemed to be the only table being ignored. Will we come back? NO I'm sure this restaurant has plenty of customers and won't miss one family, but every guest deserves to feel welcomed and valued. A simple greeting or apology would have gone a long way. As for the food, it was good. But good food alone doesn't make up for poor service or for making guests feel like they don't belong. Dining out is about the entire experience, and unfortunately, ours was overwhelmingly disappointing. I'm typically a very generous tipper because I appreciate good service. However, when a restaurant makes my family feel out of place and overlooked, it's hard to justify leaving anything. Respect and hospitality should be extended to every customer.
