Warm Kale Salad with tofu

This is an incredible health food restaurant in Reno. Our server was incredibly helpful and nice, and the food was fresh and delicious. In a city full of junk food this place really saved our day and gave us a nourishing meal. It's a funky interior, and the place has soul. We even got a few fresh draft beers from Russian River Brewing. It was priced very fairly as well.

Last Monday, friends and I had another delicious brunch at Great Full Gardens-Midtown. The restaurant is cheery and bright, the food is fresh and tasty (with So Many veg, vegan, and gluten-free offerings), and the service is always friendly and attentive. Monday we had Juli's Breakfast Tacos, Huevos Pupusa, the Pollo Taco Salad, and a Gingerbread Latte with oat milk. Everything was super delish and we'll be back soon!

Approaching a week overdue on this review. Jack was incredibly awesome to us last Sunday (12/28). The place was poppin, which is typical for Sunday brunch. We ordered the Chilaquiles and a Frittata.. Mimosas and a few more items. Everyone was stoked. No complaints. Oh, aside from someone's eggs being overcooked ((shrug)) i'unno. Highly highly recommend, per usual.

Visited GreatFull Gardens twice in 2 weeks and I am still loving them. Have had a craving for their plant based options, mainly the paleo bowl and Julie's breakfast sauté. Both options are very good with tofu. Had the mushroom latte thus morning. Nice uncaffeinated treat. The raw desserts are delicious and healthy. No guilt here!

Wild Alaskan sockeye salmon over asparagus

I stopped in for an early dinner on Thursday night after a long drive from the Bay Area in heavy rain. I sat at the counter, which wasn't the best choice for atmosphere, but the place came highly recommended by friends. I loved that they have a large menu with plenty of options to choose from. I ordered the wild salmon with two sides of vegetables, which were fresh asparagus. The food was piping hot, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Reno.

Best restaurant in Reno, best staff, freshest organic ingredients, undefeated vibes. There's something for everyone at Great Full Gardens, from health nuts to meat eaters. Literally every time I come in, the music is a mood, and it's always just the right one. The place is clean and bright and welcoming. We first visited Great Full Gardens when we were in Reno for vacation in April 2025. As someone with food allergies and celiac, it's the kind of restaurant I dream about. When my husband proposed relocating to Reno from the Bay Area, Great Full was a big selling point. We moved here in September 2025. Reno has everything we love, including this special spot, where you'll find us 1-2/week, minimum! As of March 2026, we've eaten at Great Full at least 50 times, always with great service, and I've never been "glutened," as they take great care with food handling. You already know from the zillion reviews that the food is fresh, tasty, and healthy. It's rare to find a restaurant that serves high quality organic food, and knows how to cook it properly. My faves are the frittata for breakfast, the warm kale salad or Bismarck Pizza for lunch, and Vatapa for dinner. The ahi tuna as an appetizer, or an add on to a salad is an entree sized dish, well priced and is incredible with the sesame crust and wasabi mayo. They have wonderful soups by Gino The Soup Man that you also buy frozen there, or at Whole Foods. Oh, and don't miss the dessert cups, to die for! What makes Great Full Gardens even more special is the staff. Everyone we meet seems happy to be there. Love and care goes into the food, and the way customers are treated. I have no doubt that the positive culture starts at the top. At the midtown location, we've had outstanding service multiple times by Jack, Chelsea and Kay, and most often by Tracy, who's kind of the heartbeat of the whole place, and makes us feel like part of the family. We love Tracy's sense of humor and attention to detail. I think he's been working here since they first opened, or close to it. Tracy, and the whole team are top notch, and always take care of us. Side note, thanks to the chefs for all my special requests! A big thank you to all the wonderful people that make this place hum. Great Full is a second home for us, and we hope they continue to have great success. I give them my highest recommendation.

Great Full Gardens is hands down my all-time favorite restaurant. I'm vegetarian, and I love that they have so many options for me, while also offering plenty of choices for my family and friends who aren't. Whether you're looking for something super healthy or a little more on the indulgent side, the food is always high quality and made with care. I usually come once or twice a week, and brunch with my family is my favorite time to visit. If you don't drink caffeine, I definitely recommend their mushroom blend drink, it's amazing! Or, if you're in the mood for something fresh, you can't go wrong with their freshly squeezed OJ. The servers here are pretty amazing... always kind, attentive, and accommodating. What really stands out is that both the servers and kitchen staff have been there for as long as I can remember, which says a lot about how well the owners take care of their team. The atmosphere is always welcoming and genuine. Check out their Instagram! Their staff makes some of the funniest reels, and it really shows the great energy they bring into the restaurant every day.

Stuffed Shrooms

I absolutely love this place! The staff is always so cheerful and friendly. They always make each visit personal. The restaurant is clean and bright with lots of seating options including a patio option. To drink, I ordered a glass of champagne and a glass of their made-in-house strawberry lemonade. I combined them to make my own ultimate mimosa. It was delicious! For an appetizer, I had the stuffed mushrooms. I had one with the vegan cheese and one with the regular cheese. These were delicious! They were large and flavorful. They weren't greasy like other stuffed mushrooms at other places. For my main, I had the Crabcake Benedict with quinoa salad. The crabcake was full of flavor and had little to no filler. The eggs were beautifully cooked for a benedict. The hollandaise was creamy with the perfect amount of acidity and spice. The quinoa salad was BEYOND DELICIOUS! If you haven't tried it yet, you are seriously missing out! I can't wait for my next healthy and delicious meal at Great Full Gardens-Midtown.

Visiting from CO it's Brekkie Brunch time again! Got the Buffalo Cauliflower appetizer which was prepared naked which still had a great crunch drenched in tasty buffalo sauce. Served with homemade ranch dressing and celery sticks. The vegan brekkie burrito was just egg, vegan sausage, organic black beans, potatoes and a smothered in plant based cheese served on an organic tortilla with a homemade salsa. It was filling and tasty. The Breakfast sandwich was the clear winner of the plant based brekkie choices. The sour dough bread held just egg, smoked tempeh, tomato and spinach smothered in garlic aioli and vegan chedda served with tasty brekkie potatoes. Highly recommend adding the smoked Tempeh. Great service, foodstuff and atmosphere. A huuuge menu for everyone with lots of Variety. Stop in for fast service and great brunch!

Oooooo. The colors. Far out man.

Had a really enjoyable breakfast. Salmon Benedict. Plenty big for my usually ravenous appetite. Cooked perfectly. Big glass of apple juice was fresh squeezed. Saw other meals coming out of the kitchen which also looked delicious. Service was genuinely happy and helpful. Even though it was Saturday at the brunch hour we were seated immediately. Full endorsement. Definitely will return.

If you are "new" to the Reno dining scene like we were, don't miss this restaurant. The menu has so much to offer for meat eaters, vegetarians and vegans! So many choices! We were seated immediately on. Busy Saturday morning around 11:00 am. Very friendly servers and staff! Hubby had the salmon Benedict. Being on my never ending diet, I chose al a carte options. Perfectly poached eggs and toast and a side of bacon for protein. Fun interior dining room with some local art for sale on the walls too. Reasonably priced. Will return!

Kombucha cava wine cocktail.

Warm and inviting place with a great friendly staff. And the food, wow so healthy vibrant and nourishing, reco the warm kale salad with a poached egg added. The kombucha cava cocktails was excellent as well.

Hadn't been here in a while as parking can be a challenge but today found a close spot. Seated immediately and provided menus and water. We wanted to try something apart from our favorites so we ordered Turkey pesto on ciabatta with coleslaw, child's spaghetti and tritip burrito. Could not skip the cheesy bruchetta, however. May be my favorite appetizer in town. Homemade toasted bread, tomatoes, garlic and parsley drizzled with balsamic and melted mozzarella. Outstanding. The brewed iced tea was very refreshing with a hint of fruit, maybe peach? The turkey sandwich was freshly made and the ciabatta roll soft and perfectly toasted. The burrito was huge, lots of tritip with cheese, rice and beans. Greens, salsa, spicy!, and sour cream on the side. The child's spaghetti was served with garlic bread. Amazing food. Locally sourced and freshly made. Our server was very warm and friendly and responded to our needs. The restaurant is clean and brightly decorated with many interesting things to examine. Love this spot, just come early for parking‍

Would non vegans enjoy this place? I'm trying to find a compromise for my daughter who's newly vegan. My husband likes his meat and dairy and I'm struggling to find a place with middle ground. Thanks in advance.

Yes of course. They have meat and seafood options!

Does Great Full Gardens-Midtown have a Veterans Discount, and how much is it? Thank you.

They gave me a veterans discount the other day, but it was only off of my entree not the whole ticket. My entree was $17 (with my added ingredient) the discount was $1.50. I believe the discount is 10% off of the entree without add-ons.

We got the following: 4 Tacos - Mushroom Walnut Meat. In my opinion, the better of the two meals. Burrito - Also with Mushroom Walnut Meat; I guess we have similar tastes?!?! I am a light eater, but the burrito was smaller than expected. Decent flavors, but the salsa was needed. The salsa had a very slight kick. I also had to ask for a second salsa. Sadly, even as a light eater, I left hungry... For plant based food, I have learned that I actually need to eat a lot to get full. Or I will just have to eat a few hours later... We had to feed a crowd at home recently and Middle Eastern cuisine suited everyone's fancy, so naturally Aladdin's was the call. Using the online ordering system was simple, and the food was ready right on time. My only feedback is that the items don't all clearly describe what you get or how the dish comes, and so I added sauces thinking they came on the side but really came on top, and paid upcharges for things like pita, thinking they didn't come with it but then finding out they did and I just added a lot of extra. I ordered a few shawarma plates, an Aladdin combo, and hummus, falafel, and babaganoush appetizers. Everything was delicious, but some items were a bit surprising. The hummus is was a bit on the loose side, and we actually thought it was tahini from the look, aroma, and flavor. My guess is the batch was made with a bit more tahini than normal. Still good, but surprising. The Aladdin's Combo didn't look as pictured on the website, where it looks like a very sizable portion of meat, with chicken in a reddish marinade. Though the chicken looked similar to shawarma, it was clearly different in flavor, and both it and the koobideh were delicious. I ordered extra meat and had expected it to be outrageously large based on the menu photo of the standard order, but what came was more similar to the photo itself. It was still plenty to share, but I paid additional and didn't seem like I got that much more. The regular portions here are large, like easily feed two people sized. We ordered one plate per person, but in reality could've split them all. Again, I love this spot and chalk this up to learning. I think some folks could get frustrated with this experience, and I def did to an extent, but I enjoy this too much to gripe.

We were not disappointed! Here are a few things to know: - In addition to selling Mediterranean groceries, you can order at the register and there are several small tables so you can sit and eat. - I ordered the Gyro Sandwich, and my wife ordered the Chicken Shawarma Sandwich. Both were really good, and quite large...I, of course, polished my entire sandwich off and my wife took half home for later. - We've bought Greek cheeses, olives, bulghur, and spices at Aladdin's, both this time and in the past. It's the only place to find some of the things I need, and the prices are better on some things than even Amazon. - Service was really great. The person working let me wait to pay until after I had finished my grocery shopping, and she brought our food out to our table pretty quickly. Bottom line: Aladdin's is a go-to place for us...next time, we'll probably go again at a time which would let us enjoy lunch at the same time.
