The food was delicious, authentic, staff was super friendly. The food was made to order. Definitely recommend

    Falafel Plate and Vegetarian Plate

My friend and I arrived on a Thursday afternoon. Parking lot is on the smaller size especially being shared with a few other stores directly nearby. There were a few other patrons during our time there but the higher volume is geared towards their take out orders. Orders are placed at the register and they call out the order number when ready. My friend and I shared the Falafel Plate and Vegetarian Plate with drinks of our choosing. The falafels were small, fried well and made with lots of herbs. I enjoyed their fresh hummus, soft pita wedges, and bright salad. Overall, we had a good experience walking out full and satisfied. Staff were friendly and it was a comfortable and casual environment to just relax and take our time in. I would certainly come again to try more protein options from their menu.

I was craving Mediterranean cuisine, so I dropped by here on a Friday evening. Staff was great and I got my order in less than 20 minutes. I ordered the Falafel Sandwich, which included hummus and salad inside a pita, and a side of Greek Potatoes. Overall, the sandwich - although healthy - lacked flavor. The Greek Potatoes had zero seasoning. My partner ordered the Combination Feast, which came with shish kebab, kufta kebab, and gyro slices on top of a bed of rice. He said the portion was great for the price, but the entree in general lacked spices.

We ordered take out at work and my taste buds were delighted with the fresh flavors. The portions were filling and I was left with some food for dinner. The employees were very friendly when we went to pick up the order. I will definitely return!

Come for the Friendly service and tasty, fresh food! I enjoyed the business lunch special with drink included for dine in or take out. I chose the vegetarian plate which was enormous! It feels good to eat fresh food that is wholesome! I would have overlooked this location which is very close to the southeast corner of Piedmont Park. I usually go to Emory location! This is a great find if you are in the midtown location with private parking lot for this small strip of shops.

    The tidy dining room.

MG is the OG. Today's trip was a pleasant hike on the BeltLine from Ponce City Market down to Piedmont Park. It's a very popular route, both beginning and ending at a nice part of town. Wife and I walked peacefully down the path while our two kiddos jetted around the path on their candy colored bikes. There really is a lot of stuff on the Monroe/Piedmont corner, and the lunch lines at popular spots really show it. We had considered about heading over to Woody's for a sandwich (line too long), or over to Trader Joe's for some snacks (intense, elbow-throwing crowd with a touch of self-importance), or to Mellow Mushroom (while good, not feeling the Ben and Jerry-selling-pizza decor today). But, lo and behold our afternoon vibe was saved. Med Grill's midtown location is nestled in an oblong strip across from the park, with peaceful views of the football field. There are some other various food spots next door, but foot traffic is not overwhelming like some other spots in that area. MG is a known quantity in the Decatur area for their solid takeout that unifies the class strata of the Emory hospital corridor. Just wait in line, and behold the assembled collection of regular Joes, surgeons, professors, teenagers, and executive-looking types. Everyone seems to love the product. We love it too. I ordered (pictured) a nice chicken kabob sandwich, which arrived nicely nestled in pita with a Greek salad and some sauces. Wife got the tabbouleh with some kabob, kids dug into some fried potato chunks with a little chicken and hummus. While there was not a diversity of meats represented in our meal (all chicken for some reason), all dishes were as pleasant as could be. I was particularly happy with the tabbouleh, honestly. They were delightfully heavy handed with the lime and salt, which to me are the best and most precious components in that style of salad. Prices are totally reasonable, good value all around. When you're on that part of the BeltLine (or in Decatur!), give em a try. It's a good family spot that manages to be good all around.

$4 side order of fries. Come on, man. (Lighter for scale.)

We ordered the mini pitas to get a nice variety of what this place had to offer. Unfortunately they were very very skimpy with the meat and very very heavy on the onions. They included no sauce and the $4 serving of fries was absolutely laughable. I've been to and enjoyed this place in the past, but never again.

Stopped by here for lunch and was not disappointed. I got the lunch special ($11) and I was surprised by how much food I got for the price. The food tasted really good, too!

Google pointed us to Yalda and I might be letting Google pick my restaurants for the forseeable future. Let's get into it! Location and Parking Yalda is located the bustling Aria Village in Sandy Spring, which is a small retail center that is home to quite a few businesses. Yalda offers valet parking or you can self-park for free in the garage. Venue and Atmosphere The restaurant was appropriately crowded on a Thursday night. It was warm that day so we opted to sit on the patio, which was almost full. The interior is beautiful. There's a semi-open kitchen - with a good view of the flames. The vibe teetered on between elevated and casual, either way you'd definitely fit in. Food and Drinks For drinks, my wife had the Mitra's Habibi which is a gin based cocktail and as always I stuck with bourbon had the Midnight Star. We started with the hummus and the Za'atar Labneh, both which were very good. The star of the show was the Soltani kabob we shared. It was marinated to perfection and cooked over the open flame. The basmati rice was fragrant and flavorful and paired nicely. We also shared the Shirazi salad, which added.a refreshing feel to the entree. Service Service was great. Our servers were professional and attentive. Verdict Always a lover of Mediterranean food, Yalda has definitely earned a customer in me. If you're ever in Sandy Springs pay them a visit. Until next time!

I'm really hard on Mediterranean food only because where I grew up it was easy to find Mediterranean food because so many people from that side of the world put roots there. Finding some good chicken shawarma was easy. I haven't actually found a lot of that around the Atlanta area but there are a few good ones. This one is solid and did not miss. I loved it and I would definitely go back. Chicken shawarma (platter) - so the platter comes with two sides and an entrée. Everything was good. The chicken shawarma was very good and flavorful and it was super tender and I love that because it wasn't like it was sitting there all day. It was something I would definitely go back for. I may even get a wrap next time but the actual platter served me really well and it was great. roasted potatoes - my first side was potatoes and it's hard to mess up roasted potatoes. You just season it and stick it in the oven I guess but either way they were very moist and you got plenty of them. They were seasoned very well Grilled veggies - the grilled veggies were pretty good. I mean I have nothing to complain about. They were vegetables and they were seasoned as well so nothing wrong with that but they were just vegetables. It's not like it was a main course kind of situation but for a side they were a really good side choice . Creamy chicken soup - now let me get to the star of the show. This soup is amazing to me. I don't know what it is about it. Maybe it has something in it but it is amazing. I could actually get a big bowl of it and call it a day. The soup is creamy and savory and has bits of the chicken in there so it's also seasoned very well. I don't know what it is about this soup but this soup is gold to me. In any event yes I liked everything I got, yes I would go back, yes the soup is amazing, all the things LOL. They have a rosemary chicken that is supposed to be the best seller but I didn't come for that. I would definitely try that next time. I was very satisfied with what I got!

Unfortunately, we did have a very disappointing experience regarding my daughter's Louis Vuitton bracelet. When we arrived, she was wearing the bracelet, and we later looked back at the photos we took that evening. The photos clearly show that she had the bracelet on her arm when we were seated. She never left the table or changed seats, yet in photos taken later, the bracelet was no longer on her wrist. Because it was late at night and the restaurant was closing, we believe the bracelet may have been lost at the table while we were dining. We contacted the restaurant afterward, but unfortunately, we were told that no one had found it. This was extremely disappointing, especially because when you dine at a reputable restaurant, you expect that if a valuable personal item is found, the staff or another guest will make every effort to return it to its owner. We understand that accidents happen and that items can be misplaced, but the fact that the bracelet was clearly with her when we arrived and disappeared while she remained seated at the table is very concerning. We truly enjoyed the food and the service, which makes this situation even more disappointing. We sincerely hope the restaurant will take another look into the matter and speak with the staff who were working that evening.
