The food at Mediterranean Grill is 5 star. It is by far the best and most authentic Mediterranean food in Salisbury. The staff is friendly. The restaurant is a hole in the wall, and I do think it could use some slight interior renovation to add some modern pop. Overall, it has a warm feel, good food, and nice people. The hummus was fresh, the chicken was juicy and well seasoned, and the pita was phenomenal.

We were outside Salisbury and looking for healthy options for lunch. When my online search showed this restaurant, we thought it was a great choice. On arrival we found that they only do take outs and do not have table service. The owner was so nice and incredibly accommodating and suggested we could sit at the tables as long as we didn't mind it being served in take out boxes. Well, that was the most gourmet food I've had in styrofoam containers. The food was outstanding; very fresh and tasty and served in huge portions at a reasonable price. It was so good and even though we had lots of leftovers, we decided to order take outs for the next day. Will definitely go back. It's worth the drive for us.

We ordered to-go at the restaurant and the wait wasn't too long. We got the Mediterranean Medley which was a nice way to sample all the appetizers, the lamb kebab, and the Khoresht Ghormeh Sabuzi stew. The stew was the favorite for both of us, it was absolutely delicious. The lamb kebab was pretty good too but the meat and veggie portion was kind of small but we had so much other food so it was fine. The kebabs come with bread and we also got the Tandoori bread & Tzatziki Dip so between the two of those I'm glad we didn't order extra. Right now they're only doing carry out orders but the inside looked really nice when we went in to pick it up and once they have dine in again I'd like to sit down to eat someday.

Go here!! This review is long overdue - we've been going here for over 10 years? Since we went to Salisbury University as undergrads. We've since lived in Chicago (the best food town) and metro Detroit/Ann Arbor area (supposed to have great middle eastern/Mediterranean food) and we've yet to find a place comparable to Mediterranean Grill in Salisbury Maryland! The bread and the tzatziki - we just cannot find anything as good. We have to eat here every time we're in town. Some of our other favorites: the lamb wrap, the kebabs: lamb, salmon, kubideh, and the hummus. The rice is great. The spices are so flavorful. And the owner and his family are amazing and remember us even if it's been a few years since our last visit. Please give them a try!

Great place to go for a delicious home cooked meal. The bread is made there and served warm with the yogurt sauce. The entree portions are generous, meat is well seasoned and cooked to perfection. I tried the chicken kabob and the chicken soltani, and the lamb shank is so tender the meat comes right off the bone with your fork. I recommend this place.

Perfectly and properly seasoned kabob! Rice was perfect! Everything was so good. Service was great, guy was on top of it all. Don't let the appearance fool you, this Greek spot is worth it.

We came across this place en route to Virginia and I feel like we really lucked out! The place seems unassuming, and has a laid back feel as soon as you enter. The owner is patient and friendly and is around to personally serve customers as well. I wish I could give them more than five stars for the food. We started off with their mediterranean medley which includes hummus and grape leaves, served with their amazing pita bread/tahini. Their grape leaves are some of the best I've ever had, and their main course didn't fall far behind. Their gyros and lamb kebobs were delicious. They are reasonably priced and have good portion sizes.

Grilled seasoned fish kabobs with rice and veggies. The bomb!!

We ordered them both with the standard lettuce, tomato, cucumber, and white sauce. We both also added hot sauce. The servings were generous. The food was really good. the seasoning was tasty. The hot sauce just hot enough. The vegetables were fresh and crispy. The white sauce was flavorful. You can have a nice lunch with a drink (and some leftovers) for about $15. The service was quick. The ambiance was typical fast food. The place was clean. There is plenty of parking. Definitely tasty. I actually looked into a franchise since I can see this being a popular place and a nice alternative to the fast and casual options that focus on burritos and burgers. I will certainly stop in again.

I would not order the Wings (6 Pcs) again. The sauce was served on the side and not tossed with the wings like I would have expected based on the pics in the restaurant and online. They were also out of the sauce that I wanted, so I had to choose a different flavor. The worst part about the wings was 5 out of the 6 were the middle section and not the drumette.

Let me start out by saying that the place itself is not much to look at and the furniture could use an update. It's decorated nicely inside. The service was ok the night we went and it's usually better. They had a huge birthday party (about 15 people) that took a lot of their time. However, the reason to come here is the awesome food. They bring you out three dips and pita for dipping. Each one if fantastic. For my meal I started with the salad topped with Mohammed's spiced vinaigrette. The dressing is so good. For my main I got the Egyptian Flounder with veggies and couscous. It came with a side of tahini to put on top if you like to. The Flounder was moist and delicious. The veggies and couscous were also very good. The portion size is incredible. The attached picture shows my meal, WHEN I WAS FULL AND MY MEAL WAS FINISHED. It came with two big flounder fillets. My wife got the crab bisque as a starter and scallops with lobster sauce for her main. I was able to try both since we had so many leftovers. The crab bisque is probably the best I've ever eaten. My daughter got the salad as well and the lamb stew which she really enjoyed.

I spent every summer in this town, growing up, and I never discovered this restaurant until a precious friend brought me here a few years ago. It's a dated, though efficient, and charming, cafe with fresh dishes you might love. Firstly, if you plan on having lunch here on a Monday, make sure you are able to finish by 2:45 since they close by 3pm. All other days, they are open past 8pm. We started with the sweet potato soup despite the fact that the reviews for the lentil soup here are the highest. Yes! If it's featured: get it! The turmeric and coconut milk make this soup delightful. The herbs made it so fresh and there was just the right amount of sweetness and gentle heat. Parsley really adds to this recipe and I'm not usually a fan of this herb. The pitas are soft, thin and light. Love them. We needed to order more. I've never had such paper-thin pitas. Yum! I love love love the hummus, here. It is nothing short of divine. The flavors are fabulous and deeply complex. You can really taste the tahini. The olive oil is mild and delicious. I exclaimed, "the hummus was the best ever." And then 5 minutes later, I read a review by Yelper James H. where he says it's the best ever and, "... this hummus at Cedars of Lebanon might have ruined all other hummus for me forever." While I've had similar swooning feelings over the hummus at Lebanese Taverna in Tyson's Corner, this hummus is at least a top contender if not the metro DC area's hummus winner. The cucumber mint yogurt salad is nice, cold and refreshing. You can really taste the mint. I would order this yogurt salad with every meal. The falafel pizza is unusual and fresh. Straight away-- you can taste the tahini, parsley and couscous. The dough is grainy and natural. And there are radishes on this falafel pizza: not overpowering. For the $9 or so pricepoint, this dish is a true labor of love. To prep all of these vegetables, even with food processors, must take time. How novel of a dish! Put the yogurt salad on this pizza. You will thank me. And I only did it because I was watching someone else slather it on. There were at least 12 desserts on the menu. Meow. If we weren't so full of pita, hummus, tahini and fresh veggies, we certainly would love to taste a few of these. As well as the Turkish coffee, with an authentic ceramic and metal carafé presentation.

The restaurant has a small outdoor dining area with three four-seater tables, which was find for our two dogs. The experience overall was pretty low key, which necessarily is not a bad thing. Although there is waiter/waitress service, you will have to order your food at the cashier's counter. Actually, maybe that's only a thing if you are dining outside. The menu has a nice mix of Middle Eastern dishes. I went with a beef (or maybe it was lamb) kabob plate. The portions were fine and my meal was pretty good. It was not out of this world amazing, but it got the job done. I thought that the prices were pretty good for the area and the amount of food received. Although the food was fine, I do not think that I would go out of my way (e.g., driving more than 30 minutes) to dine here. Just be aware that the restaurant does not serve alcoholic beverages.
