Spicy Tuna Onigiri (Fresh)
Amani S.

Great service and bomb food! Loved the spicy tuna onigiri which had really good rice. Ordered a boba tea with and made the rookie mistake of not getting 50% sweetness but it was still delish.

Tried out this place on 12/16/25. This was one of the few places that was open late. After attending Enchant, we were kind of hungry, so my daughter found this place. Since it was pretty late, there was PLENTY of free parking in a shared lot. They weren't busy, so we took our time trying to decide what to order to eat and drink. Two of us chose the combo meal which included a musubi and drink. The price was great, but we both agreed the musubi didn't taste right. We couldn't even determine what type of spam was used!! The temperature of the musubi was very hot though which was great, but the taste was HORRBLE. My drink was HORRIBLE because I asked for less sweet. Maybe I should have not made it so less sweet. I hated my drink SO MUCH, I didn't even finish it!! Plenty of places to sit. Not nice looking inside, just okay.

Worst FAKE yakult drink EVER!!
James W.

I am rarely crushed by terrible drinks... But the yakult mixed drinks at Meet Tea are so bad, that I'm actually deeply impressed with HOW BAD it was!! I can't even summon enough energy to type out how bad it was... But trust me, it's super bad. UGH!!

Milk Tea and Fried Chicken Wings

Ordered the New Orleans Chicken Burger/sandwich ($7.75 after fees). Tastes freshly made but it was not New Orleans flavored. Just tasted like a reg stir fried chicken, lightly seasoned with cucumbers inside.

Friendly staff who offered us samples of their milk tea at the door. They had a BOGO deal going on for the osmanthus tea light milk and gardenia tea light milk. It was $3.99 for a big bottle and the regular cup is the free one. There is plenty of seating, including booth seats and tables. We sat there for a few hours and were undisturbed. They had a restroom for customers to use. Also had some board games to play too.

We came here for dessert and popcorn chicken after eating a nice large dinner in this mall at the Meno Jiao Club restaurant, which is across the mall by the Daiso Store. We bought a basque cheesecake and any flavor milk tea combo for $10.99 total ($9.99 plus $1 for the milk tea). The cheesecake with a berry flavored topping, was quite delicious, and the white peach milk tea paired well with it. We sat in the booth chairs near the front of the store and we enjoyed chatting away without needing to rush out. The lady behind the counter brought our drinks and food to us, she was very nice. I will definitely come again, they serve nice food if you feel like eating a meal with a milk tea. They also have specialty drinks and milkshakes. You shouldn't be disappointed if you feel like a milk tea on a sunny day, this is a place to try out with a friend, or by yourself for a quick meal.

Braised Pork Rice
Jenny N.

My coworker and I ordered food and drinks here through DoorDash and perhaps I was hungry and thirsty, but let me tell you I'm a happy camper. We ordered braised pork rice (rice, braised pork, one marinated egg, and mixed vegetables). We got two orders for $14.99. What a deal. I inhaled that thing! Flavor of braised pork and marinated egg was on point, not salty. My coworker ordered extras for her family and another coworker. We ordered sunset lemon (no picture as my coworker took the drinks before I was able to take a picture) and it was 2 for $6.49. What a deal. In addition, you get free toppings (boba, pudding, mango popping boba). Select one topping or all three. I ordered their fresh mixed fruit tea and I added two out of three toppings (boba and mango popping boba). Overall, I was a happy customer even though I didn't physically go in to order/pick up the food. I would get these items again!

Strawberry Tea
Braxton H.

Decided to quench my thirst by going to Meet Tea today! I ordered a Strawberry Milk Tea, which came out to be around $6.25, a very reasonable price. Service is very easy and convenient: it can either be through a kiosk or through the cashier. The Strawberry Milk Tea was delivered quickly, Taste wise, it was very good and had a nice consistency. Smooth with a creamy undertone. I really like the fruity flavor of the drink as it compliments well with the main ingredient, the strawberry. Overall, I really liked the portion size but I wish that there was more flavor for the strawberry and more boba. I would definitely come again if I'm in the Temple City area! Tip: They accept Apple Pay for those wondering!

Honeydew Smoothie
Miori I.

In need of a cool down on a hot afternoon and there was Meet Tea to the rescue. Located in a very busy plaza on Rosemead and Las Tunas, parking can be hard to find in the large lot. We planned to stop into several shops in the plaza, so we parked at one location and walked to Meet Tea. Walked into the brightly lit space and was greeted right away. The space was much larger than I had expected. A couple cozy booths to the left of the register and a multitude of tables to the right. This place clearly gets packed at some point with this much seating. This was our first time so we had to take a couple minutes to review the menu. We weren't really in the mood for milk tea so we landed on a Honeydew Smoothie. We were offered a cute tote bag for free and sat at one of the booths to wait. Within minutes our Honeydew Smoothie was on the counter. The first sip was heavenly. Surely hit the spot. The sweet, creamy melon flavor reminded me of the Melon pops. Loved it! Definitely know what to order the next time we are in the area.

Matcha Milk Tea, Brown Sugar Milk Tea
Simon L.

Really cool boba spot inside of a plaza with a good selection of drinks. Service was great and the cashier gave us good recommendations. We got the brown sugar milk tea with boba and matcha latte (custom as they don't have it on their actual menu) and it was decent!

Mango pineapple smoothie, nicely done
ra l.

Review is for their mango pineapple smoothie. They use real mango and pineapple for this drink. Good taste and not overly sweet. Nice friendly environment and friendly workers

Peach drink
Iris K.

We walked in here looking for a smoothie spot and found great tasting teas. I wanted to try the capybara mouse dessert because it looks exactly like a capybara but they were sold out so I got the peach instead! Delicious!! Def coming back whenever we head that way!

How is the braised pork rice?

Do you guys close on Veterans Day?

We are open on Veterans Day.

How is this business handling the re-opening? What safety measures are they taking? Are they offering indoor or outdoor dining or both? Any heaters for outdoor dining?

They open. I don't even know they are close? I work next door i just check in there.

Is it open for indoor dining right now ? Is the closing time at 12 midnight as written here?

Our tea shop is currently closed for renovation. We will reopen on 07/24/2021. We will have indoor dinning and for closing time please check our business hours.

Is there a milk replacement option like soy or almond?

Looking to be more waste conscious. Do they fill in drinks if you byoc (bring your own cup), offer discounts, or any of those sorts of incentives?

Do they offer Splenda as a sweetener alternative?

Not that I know, but we can always ask them to reduce the level of sugar use...that's what I always do.

This place has a great customer services and a great place to hang out with friends. The food is good?

It's far from average as far as taste goes and if you know what to order. Order any of the yogurt snow bubbles, they have mango, strawberry, or kiwi. Guaranteed addiction if you like yogurt. Service is also on point. For food, get the cold noodle.

While we tried each flavor, she described each of its components in great detail - something I truly appreciated!! Everything was delicious but I personally ended up getting the Mango Sago and Vietnamese Coffee (probably would not mix the two next time lol but delicious individually). The mango sago tasted like fresh mangoes and reminded me of a rich high quality mango sorbet. SO. Good. The perfect summer treat! Vietnamese coffee tasted exactly like how the drink would taste, which I was honestly surprised about since coffee ice creams are flavored a bit sweeter than the actual drink. It was perfect for me but may not be everyone's cup of tea because it does have bitterness :) The ambiance in there is amazing - details in every cranny and nook of the space. It's retro and very chill / relaxing! There are a very limited amount of tables but I did see stacks of plastic stools for people to sit on outside. Also there's a coin machine where you can purchase lactaid. A small gesture keeping the community in mind haha.

I was hoping to have my own AE86 built and ready when I finally stopped by, but maybe for the new location. As an honest critique of the actual storefront, the appearance and decor is very charming. In a very bright, Japanese themed cafe kind of way. But because this is an Initial D themed drink and snack spot, I can see this being a place where mostly guys use this place as a meet-up hub. Especially for a small car meet. Very niche right? Especially for the dying breed of 1980's 1990's - 2000's JDM cars. That said, how many guys in the city could you actually get to come here regularly for soy and soy-based accessories, drinks, and snacks? The dessert was okay, and I wasn't in love with the drinks. Light, tofu refreshing, but not captivating. Personally, the menu doesn't appeal to me, since I try to avoid soy since it tends to be a pro-estrogen consumable. I don't think they had to box themselves in into being a purely tofu-only cafe. They could sell tofu products, and also have something simple but repeatedly addictive; like In-n-Out, Wurstkuche, Howling Ray's, Tea Master Matcha Cafe, Savoy, Langer's, etc. The closest idea I can think of that would be forced into tofu would be like really excellent, authentic mabo tofu, agedashi tofu, or like a karaage or Tokyo fried chicken style fried chicken with a mabo tofu dipping sauce, heavy on the ma-la flavors. Hell, I might even stop by more if they imported more car parts, from like Impulse, TRD, or Apex'i. But the way the AE86 market is, it makes more sense to sell online to the global niche. Wonderful atmosphere and mood for the Initial D/MF Ghost/Subaru to Subaru fandom. It was fun just to follow on instagram and catch a glimpse of all the influencer personalities in the car community stopping by. I'll look forward to what their next Project T(ofu) looks like. See you next time, Space (cow) boy. Oh-oh-oh. I need you babe.

Each bite felt like a warm, decadent cloud. (Important Note: These Pancakes have a LONG wait. Each Jiggly Pancake had an expected 20 to 30 minute preparation time. Also, I recommend eating it dine-in. If you wait too long, these fluffy treats promptly get mushy.) I arrived at Motto Tea Cafe (San Gabriel) on Wednesday (11AM - Opening Time). Parking is easy. There's an underground lot for extra parking. Customers primarily order at the self-service kiosk. Customers must pay with card and insert phone number in the kiosk, but Customers can pay cash at the counter. Dine in customers grab a metal number that's stacked between the kiosks. Staff spoke limited English, but Staff is professional, diligent, and accommodating. My order took 24 minutes. As mentioned, I love the Creme Brûlée Soufflé Pancake ($17.50). It's plated and presented lovingly and seductively. It's memorable. With each motion, I bit hard onto its fluffy, lightly sweetened body. I savored how the creme brûlée's creamy sauce dribbled. It's layered, supple, and thick. I shake the plate. It dances. On ambiance, Motto Tea Cafe (San Gabriel) is comfortable. There's about seven interior tables and two counters. The music is slow-tempo and gentle. And it's clean. There's also a gender neutral restroom for customers. Overall, I created lovely memories at Motto Tea Cafe (San Gabriel). The wait is extremely long, but I found contentment at this journey's end. If you love wiggly pancakes & have plenty of time to spare, this is an easy recommendation. 4.8 out of 5

Souffle pancakes in different occasions always look so pretty, are the best everyone's ever had, some some flavor profiles don't work. Maybe that's why the menu sometimes changes. For example the yuzu grape was completely bland because the yuzu drizzle on top was a thin line i couldn't taste at all. At least put a spread between each layer or pour a lot on top like the others (eg berry or mango). The mint leaves was the most potent flavor in this dish. Over the grapes, blueberries, matcha powder, yuzu. Got the mango triple layer drink this time and if you drink it carefully, you can appreciate the contrast from the mango puree, the milk, the creamy salted matcha. If you just mix it up completely you won't get that affect. One thing that bothers me is because the menu changes I seem to always be unable to get something I'm thinking of from the previous visit. I recall last time I had some mochi and rice ball I added to a drink that was so damn good and I couldn't add it this time. Though I recall that drink being $11.50 from the add ons. The souffle pancake was $21... so place is $$ but again the quality is there. Service wise, never interacted with staff really. Kiosk to order. Drinks just sit at counter when done. Didn't call numbers. Oh they did bring the pancake, no words spoken.

It's not too sweet; rather, it all felt balanced. However, this is a VERY messy donut; I recommend eating this donut with a fork and knife. The topping with the tiny little rose is a nice aesthetic and definitely their trademark. The location offers retro and colorful style seating for 10+ customers if I had to guess . Patio seats are also offered outside. Also, OG Pac-Man arcades are available inside. My wife loved her Sesame Halva and my Pistachio Konafa with Chocolate Shell totally reminded me of a Dubai Chocolate type of vibe with each bite! The whole first time visit was positive and would make me want to come by again to try something else! Presentation on point! Flavors on point! Vibes good! Tummies happy! Come by and just try! Thanks, Kinrose Creamery! ( ^_^)b
