One of the few boba spots that's open past midnight and is very spacious as well with plenty of tables inside that can fill groups and some outdoor as well. Parking - Free in a huge shared parking lot. Usually not too hard to impress as a tea shop but through my plentiful of visits, I've always left a disappointed. They always have only one staff member working. While nothing bad about the staff as I understand that they're working as fast as they can, I cannot fathom sometimes various staff would not call out orders that are ready and would take over 30-40 minutes just to get one order out. While that was a one time experience, my next experience was very similar. Orders did take just as long to come out, once again, one staff member only. Lights were also turned off, no AC on a hot day, and restrooms were practically unusable. The doors wouldn't fully close and the toilets were dirty as well. Not a great look overall. The only saving grace I'd say are the spacious tables and their quality of the drinks. My partner and I always get their Osmanthus Golden Oolong Milk Tea and it hits pretty well. It's refreshing and definitely one of their top drinks. Menu is extensive which is a nice look. Besides that, the astronaut/space theme is a nice touch as well, pretty unique design that you don't really find elsewhere. Overall, a subpar tea spot that's downgraded plenty, seems like they're doing a lot of budgeting which is understandable. This was a pretty fun place to visit. The glow-in-the-dark props throughout the restaurant created a unique atmosphere, and everything felt very clean. It was a little cluttered in some areas, but there was still plenty of space between tables, so it didn't feel overly crowed. My only complaint was the menu. The items had very unique and unusual names, which made it difficult to understand what some of the dishes actually were. Since it was my first visit, I felt a bit overwhelmed and asked for some guidance, but the person at the front wasn't very helpful in explaining the menu. Because of that, I ended up not ordering any food.Also the food I saw being served looked appetizing, the service was friendly overall, and the restaurant was clean and aromatic. L2 Tea Club is a decent boba spot that offers a variety of drinks and snacks. However, it's not a go-to spot for me compare to the other boba spots located in the SGV. Despite saying that I do find myself craving the Fresh Orange Passion Fruit Gardenia Green Tea, and would make the trip over for it. The reason for the 3/5 star is because the service is quite slow, with usually only 1 person handling both the cashier and the drink making. On top of that, I just felt like the establishment was a bit lacking in the cleanliness department because the tables were dirty and the towel they used for the tables smelled terrible :(. Came here for boba after day 2 of Head in the Clouds since it was one of the few shops in the area that opened late. Apparently everyone else also had the same idea as the place was packed at 11 pm. There was only one person working. She was super sweet but was definitely overwhelmed by the influx of people. She was running back and forth taking orders and making drinks. It ended up being a long wait but I'm not deducting any stars for that since this was a special situation. There were not as many options as I would have liked so I opted for a taro milk tea - classic, right? The taro milk tea was made with a powder and black tea, but unfortunately it just did not taste like taro to me. My friend ordered a fruit tea which was pretty good and refreshing. There are several tables and lots of seating inside. The lighting is dim and the place is decorated with an astronaut / space theme. Parking is easy as it's in the middle of a small shopping complex. Overall, a huge fan of this place. I mainly appreciate that they are open later than pretty much any other boba/tea spot I can think of in the area. Also, the service is outstanding, the seats are comfortable, and there is always plenty of available parking outside (especially during late hours). K-pop music videos appear to be played non-stop on the south wall of the shop via projector. The interior decor is on the charming, quirky, and inconsistently-themed side. I'd expect nothing less. I was admittedly not the hugest fan of the Honeydew Crystal Meteor (basically green super-frozen yogurt cubes). The Peach Blossom beverage was ok - I wasn't too keen on the fillings of the wonky "bubbles" inside. All that said - the Hokkaido Milk Tea was more than outstanding, and the saving grace of our experience. The only real downside I can think of this place is that even if you are enjoying your beverage inside, you will invariably end up as collateral damage to the hordes of chain smokers sitting outside - if the doors are propped open, at least (which they were, during my visit). That said - I suppose the casually carcinogenic environment adds to the authenticity of the experience. xD read more

I've been here twice so far, each time craving something cold & sweet after dinner & enjoyed the experience here. The atmosphere is out of this world with the quirky and eccentric decor. There's many astronaut installations/table pieces and bears, lucky cats, big bears, and added a robot recently. The seats are cute and comfortable. The lighting is kind of dim, but not dark. It gives a strange in-between feeling that's interesting but also slightly uncomfortable. Pictures come out nicely though So far, I have tried the strawberry daifuku drink, the rose lychee meteorite, and the mango ice bowl. The drink is a good strawberry drink, but not really reminiscent of a daifuku to me personally. I still like it! In fact. I tried to order it a second time, but the cashier forgot to put it in The mango ice bowl is surprisingly really good with bits of real mangos, fruit and little Chinese mochi balls of various colors and sizes. My favorite is the meteorite. Such a cute little store! I love that this place opens so late. Not many boba places open past 9AM these days. The ambiance is cute. It was a little messy due to it being the end of the night, but the lighting really creates a nightlife kind of tone. They have this cute little area to take pictures that we of course took advantage of. The seating is colorful yet minimal. Color scheme is fun and vibrant. The service was great, the cashier was a sweetheart, and our drinks were really good! I loved my honey lemon tea. The quality of the tea was decent and you can taste the osmanthus but I felt as if my drink had a bit too much milk and it was a bit watered down. This drink was $7.35 which is on the pricier end, and given the quality of the drink I would recommend going to other locations. There wasn't a line when I came, but when people started coming in there was a boba rush. I got the honey chrysanthemum tea with white jade, but was given regular brown sugar boba instead. Bobarista was swamped tending to other customers, so I didn't bother fixing my order. The drink was not very good. Chrysanthemum is typically light and floral, but it tasted very burnt and too bitter. I couldn't get myself to finish. The decor is pretty cool since everything is space themed and it was very cozy. The shop's interior is pretty neat with space-themed decor and plenty of seating with plush velvet chairs. I went during the afternoon on July 4th and there were a few occupied tables. Also, I'm unsure if this is normal, but the shop was really warm and humid - maybe they don't have AC or it was down? Just beware if you're planning to chill here for a while. The tall guy working behind the counter is very sweet. You can tell he takes care of the people in the neighborhood. Say what you will, but not everyone is welcoming in the suburbs. Take this place for what you will. Everything I've gotten there is amazing! If you don't know, just ask or try the Pink Planet or Messy Brown Boba. You can't go wrong with their favorites. Very cute decor, so many picture worthy spots. I was very excited to check it out and was hoping the drinks were good. We got two drinks and mine came in a shiny cup which I was excited about. The drinks were good. I got the messy brown sugar boba milk and my friend got the golden oolong milk. Both were good but we both liked mine better. Parking was great and it's right next to Phoenix, which we stopped in afterwards. The staff were okay, they leave the guests alone while at the seats unless coming to bring the drinks. I took a bunch of pictures before we drank our drinks, then one staff came to ask me not to touch anything behind the counter. #96 in my Teaholic Diaries. I'm clearly one of the outliers here among all the five star reviews, so I would suggest trying L2 for yourself. Maybe it was just an off day when I went. Either way, I didn't care for either of the drinks I tried, and I personally will not be returning. I ordered the honey chrysanthemum and the Rosy strawberry planet. The planet drink was basically sugar water and was way too artificial- tasting. It honestly tasted like it was at a 150% or more sweetness level compared to most boba shops. The honey chrysanthemum was better than the planet drink, but it still wasn't great or worth getting again, at least in my opinion. So for me, L2 Tea Club is a hard pass. Oof, wanted to give this place a chance, but my experience last night was just not good. Walked in at around 10:30ish, ordered the messy brown sugar boba. Took about 10-15 mins for my drink to come out since there was only one person (guy was cashier and making drinks at the same time). It could possibly be me still recovering from a stomach flare up weeks prior, but the messy brown sugar boba drink had me feeling "messy" as in it gave me an upset stomach half an hour after drinking it. I couldn't even finish it after drinking half of it. My gf ordered the honey chrysanthemum tea and it tasted just like bong water to be honest when I tried a sip of it.
