Tea Brick has great tea, but the café itself was quite dirty during my visit. There was only one person working, and he seemed to be managing everything on his own. They have cute bottles here! They're reusable and the lid has an opening for the straw. I didn't know what to order so I decided to go with 2 of the top favorite drinks which are The Christine and Yummee Peachee Lychee. If you don't want the bottle, there's an option to just get the drinks in regular cups. The Christine has strawberry and mango bits on it. It's a bit tangy since the base is the passionfruit tea. On summer days, it's a refreshing drink. However, I like Yummee Peachee Lychee drink better. As the name says, it's a peach and lychee tea with lychee jelly, which I like! Also worth mentioning is the friendliness of the staff. Upon entering the shop, I was greeted by a man behind the counter who was making a drink but squeezed in a few moments to say hi and to call on him if I have any questions on the drinks or if I needed any help in placing an order. My husband usually gets one of their teas which are also good and mixed in with fruit pieces. One of the better boba shops around. It's at the end of a small plaza on a busy intersection: Duarte and Santa Anita. The parking lot can be tricky to get into depending on which direction you're coming from. Just beware of some bad drivers. Inside, there are some tables for 2 or 4. There are boxes stacked in the corner and the furniture is a bit worn. As you walk in, there are touch screen pad for you to place orders, and even add items and adjust sweetness. Pay for it there and they will call your name once your drink is ready. They also serve snacks like popcorn chicken or other small bites. I only come here for my kid. The drinks have been consistently good and the boba are fresh and even warm sitting at the bottom of the cup. I haven't ordered any food. It was empty when my mother and I walked into the shop and no one greeted us, we walked over to the kiosk instead to order our drinks. We had trouble deciding because there are lots of options. We got lycheeberry and dragonball. The dragonball unfortunately was not that great but the lycheeberry was delicious. We will def come back to try different drinks but service was mid. Was visiting family in arcadia when I impulsively stopped in after seeing poster for Delicious Coconut Coffee! It was spacious, clean and lots of natural light. You order at the self serve kiosk, which was pretty easy to navigate. They have huge menu selection of drinks and food. I went with the Iced Sea Salt Coconut Coffee with herbal jelly and OMG it was so good!! The coffee flavor was noticable vs being watered down. The Coconut flavor came thru and there was a generous serving of jelly. I wished I lived locally so I could support this place daily. Its so much better than Sbucks by far! I really like Teabrick ever since they opened. It's next to a high school so around afterschool on weekdays it gets filled with students and can be a bit more noisy than usual. I love they have cute container options, I used to always order them and collect the various ones they have. I had tos top since they don't stack well and take space but are very cute and each have a cap! My go to is usually their milk tea slush with boba and half sweet. I came today to get a regular milk tea with extra boba half sweet in honor of National boba day. I wasn't able to ask for extra boba online so I came in and ordered in person instead. Another week, another boba spot to try! This time it's Tea Brick, located in a small plaza at the corner of Duarte and Santa Anita Ave. It has a small parking lot and is currently having some construction right next to their entrance but you can still find parking near to El Pollo Loco. The store is cute, and their branding consists of many little corgi cartoons, an unlikely surprise when you think of the name "Tea Brick". The restaurant is clean, modern, and has a kiosk ordering system and a front counter where you can also order with their team member, who helped me out today. They were friendly and helped me order a Matchamisu with added boba. It was ready within 5 mins and the bottom boba part of the drink was HOT. So it was fresh, but I kind of wish it was cooled down before it was mixed in so the ice didn't melt so fast. The matcha was flavor was good, just a little powdery but it was okay, and we heard many people ordering food items more than their boba drinks so it's something we are interested in coming back for. The team member who helped us out today said their most popular items is the popcorn chicken but he loves the nuggets, so we appreciated the suggestions. Service is friendly, they also have sides for you like popcorn chicken which I've had and it's great and I've also had their wings. Place was clean, service was fine not slow or quick they had an ordering kiosk as well. Took a couple minutes but might take longer if busier. Guy at the counter was approachable. Their style of teas is lacking in sweetness not on their end but on mine the few places I have tried use a lot of sweetness so I usually get 50% here I got 50% and I feel like I could have just kept the sweetness at 100% wasn't hardly sweet at all. Which again every place is different. I just know for next time. We asked them to add more sweetness to it and they did it right away. And it tasted great. One of my favorite places to get fruity teas! I ordered the Yummee Peachee Lychee on their Top 10 list, which has peach and lychee tea, lychee jelly, and fresh fruit bits of peach and lychee. I ordered my drink at 100% sweetness and it was the perfect level of sweetness for me. Their drinks are a bit pricier than other boba shops, but they have the option to come in cute reusable bottle with fun corgi designs. I like that their cashier is a self-service kiosk, so it's quick and easy to order. The drink came out in about 10 minutes. There are a few tables inside to sit at, but I came at a busier time close to when Arcadia High School students get out of school, so there were a good amount of students studying at the tables. I've always been loyal to you Tea Brick. I remember my days as a high school student, running to get a fresh drink of jasmine milk tea, or thai milk tea everyday during lunch time, and running back to school to deliver it to my friends. You are and will continue to hold a special place in my heart. With that being said, I recently tried Tea Brick again, 2 years later. Staff was attentive, and I got my drink quickly through utilizing the self check out kiosk they have installed. They accept both cash and credit (ApplePay included). As for drinks, I ordered the Thai Tea with boba, with 50% sugar. Note: For sugar DO NOT CHOOSE MORE THAN 50%, 50% was already super super sweet on its own and I recommend choosing 25% or less. Drink came out in a very cute cup and I can appreciate the creativeness of their logo and drink cup. I still use the drink cup to drink my water :), it's become like my new water bottle. The only inconsistency I felt was the sweetness of the drink, but that's just solely based on preference, and my aging taste buds. The place is clean, they have a lot of small two-seater tables and a clean bathroom. I got 100% sweetness and thought it was just right. - The Vanessa, which was described as having strawberry & peach green tea w/ strawberry & lychee bits was similar to lycheeberry tea. My friend enjoyed her drink! - Peachee Lychee tea (peach & lychee green tea w/ lychee jelly, peach, & lychee bits) was similar to lycheeberry tea and my friend seemed to like it! - Hokkaido Matchamisu milk tea (creamy Hokkaido green tea w/ matchamisu) was great according to my friend! We ordered it in the "Beauty" bottle, which just means their cute custom designed plastic bottle that can be reused. I think it was like a dollar more or something. Definitely reusing my as a water bottle :) Only thing was that my bottle seemed to be from 2021 as it had a design of baby oxen for the year of the ox! Overall, I'd come back here to get their matchamisu milk tea because I'm a sucker for matcha.
