Wings were very good, better than Birds Nest but Franks for the Memories in Mundelein is still the best. Teriyaki sauce was good however there was lots of sesame seed as an added sprinkle. Hot sauce was prefect heat - flavorful but not can't feel my tongue hot. Seasoned fries were delicious. Not sure if they have unseasoned fries. Gyros has potential - tzatziki sauce was good had some paprika sprinkled on top, pita a little over toasted, and gyros meat had good flavor but I got the dried - over cooked crusty outside. They had a donkey Kong jr arcade machine that worked and it was free. Pretty cool addition. Staff were friendly and order was completed fairly quickly considering wings were made to order. I'll be back to try other items

My boyfriend and I popped in for a quick midweek date. He was extremely hungry after work and I moderately hungry after work. The staff was friendly--the owner was even out and about talking to customers! The food, which is cooked in beef tallow, was delicious. The fries were crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The onion tanglers melted in my mouth. The smash burger was flavorful and cooked to perfection. The wings left a little to be desired in size and price, but the sauces they came in were delicious. Extremely hungry boyfriend ordered a 2nd burger (We split the 1st one!) and that one's patty was not as crispy and it was loaded with too many onions. The flavor was still out of this world without being too salty. Bonus points for unlimited fountain drinks! I would definitely go back, but for the "& Things," aka the burgers!

I decided to pop in after seeing a TikTok review online saying how good their food was. It's only a few minutes from my house so I decided to give it a try. It's cooked to order. I got chicken skewers with a side of fries that came with Pita & two grilled lemon wedges. The food was cooked well. The chicken was glazed in a honey mustard sauce that had a decent amount of kick to it. Definitely not spicy but flavorful. The portions were large for the price of the food. I spent Just shy of $20. All the food had a ton of flavor. I got my food very quickly. They take the extra step of bagging your food to keep it warm on your drive home.. so bonus points for that. I would definitely come here again. I heard their Smashburger's are excellent as well. Definitely will be back.

I paid around $17 for a smash burger fries and a drink. Totally worth it, they are very polite and the place was very inviting.

Simple menu with really good food. We got the smashburger, garlic parm traditional wings and fries and everything was so good!

My boyfriend and I recently moved to the area and decided to try Meetch's. The owner greeted us, was friendly and welcoming. He offered suggestions on what to order. We ended up going with the smash burger & the chick stix. Both were delicious. Price was average. We both left satisfied and full. Will definitely be back to try another menu item. Would definitely recommend this small business to anyone in the area!! Give them a try!

Popped into Meetch's on a Friday evening after hearing about it from friends / social media, and it completely exceeded the hype! Wings were a perfect. Crunch, size and flavor selection was on point. Now onto the start of the show. The smash burger hit on disproportionate levels that rocked my tastebuds so hard that it registered on the Richter scale. Two smash burger patties with onions sliced so thin you can see through them, 2 slices of cheese, Meetch's special sauce all brought together between two perfectly toasted buns. Honorable mention to the fries which were also insanely delicious, a paring that would rival Jordan and Pippen. The service was impeccable, love seeing a family run small business that packs a punch with every bite. If you are in the AH / Rolling Meadows area and are craving a top tier fast casual American staple, get in your car and floor it over to Meetch's!

Our Burger Club finally made it's way to Jimmy D's back in December of 2025. It was a Monday night,…read moreand kinda cold outside. There were seven of us and we all converged from Buffalo Grove and Vernon Hills. Jimmy D's doesn't come up on your normal burger place lists in and around the area, but we saw a post somewhere and knew we had to check this place out, especially if it ended up being across from the future home of the Chicago Bears. We'd probably end up hanging out there and wanted to make sure it was a good enough place to hang and be a part of the action, whilst not paying for said action. Anyhoo, we all pulled up to find a nice parking lot next to/behind the restaurant. It's a cool place with a couple entrances (one in the lot and the other from the street). It's a nicely adorned building and has the requisite sports decor on the inside with plenty of televisions to watch many games at once. There was plenty of seating for our group as it was quite empty on a Monday night and there wasn't any game of note when we were there. We called ahead letting them know our numbers and they accommodated us with a reserved table. They were attentive and constantly refilled out waters and sodas and brought more beer when needed/requested. The service was friendly and attentive. We were there for the burgers of which there are four options: the House burger, the Fried Egg Burger, the Mac Daddy, and a Black Bean burger. However, stipulations for being in our club is that you can only order a red meat-based burger. We did order the buffalo sauced wings as an appetizer to share. They were sauced nicely, not too hot, and quite good. I would definitely recommend getting them if you visit. I also ordered the cream of chicken soup. It was a perfect option for the cold night and I rank it among one of the better cream of chicken soup options in the suburbs. While not a sommelier of cream of chicken soup, I do rank it quite well: I think it matches Jameson's Char House for quality, thickness, and flavor. Mama clearly knows what she's doing with her soup. I opted for the Mac Daddy burger. It's prepared with: black angus beef, boom boom sauce, house mac n' cheese, bacon, fried onions, sliced jalapeños, toasted brioche. I normally don't opt for the special/signature house sauces as I've been burned before by these so-called "recommended" house sauces (I'm looking at you, Lucky Burger, with your terrible "dijonnaise" sauce - ugh, don't get me started on THAT sauce). However, I was told it's a hot sauce for the burger and figured it wouldn't overpower everything else on the burger. The mac n' cheese was a tad creamy, but so what, the bacon, fried onions, jalapenos, and boom boom sauce cut into the creaminess a bit and it worked. And it didn't overpower the flavor of the burger, which I thought it would, but somehow didn't. I really liked this burger, the bun held up, the bacon stayed crispy, and jalapenos and sauce added a nice kick but not overwhelmingly so. I would get this again. The sandwiches come with housemade fries or tots, but I know that if tots are offered, you can (generally) never go wrong with tots (I'd point out Puck's Pub but they closed and did the world a favor in doing so). Everyone generally liked their burgers and would return again. In our 5 point scale, Jimmy D's District got a 4.25. They have a nice brunch menu and drinks to match and I want to try them out someday. Let me know if you're going and I'll meet ya there if available.

The buffalo mac & cheese truly surprised me. It's covered with an ale cheese sauce that is full of flavor and on top, there are buffalo chicken crisps! So good! The Greek Fries were my other favorite! It has a roasted garlic aioli, crumbled feta and oregano. I could eat an entire plate of it with no problem! On Fridays and Saturdays in the evening, there is live music but outside of the live music, the environment is lively, the service from everyone was pleasant and attentive, and there are TVs everywhere, like literally! I can totally see why this place is a neighborhood favorite and if you visit, you'll understand why too! Stop by and tell em that Bri from Planes and Plates sent you!

So it was off our list for a while. We've now started eating at the bar, which gets us away from much of the noise, and the food and service are still excellent. Today two of us came for lunch; our server Clarissa was very attentive to my guest's need for a gluten-free meal, and also cheerfully got the pounding music turned down so we could hear each other talk. If only there was a way to address the noise issue overall, I would be happy to give this place five stars...!

It seemed like they had it made due to beating their top selling plate. The chicken had a rubbery feeling, for sure did not meet the hype. We ordered it and it was served very fast. In the other hand, their "Pesto Cavatappi" was served warmed and you could tell it was just made. The chicken on this dish tasted very good and the texture was very different from the Chicken Parm. I would recommend this dish instead of their number one as it was told to us by the server. We ordered two cappuccinos and their Flourless Chocolate Cake. Both cappuccinos were very milky and not warm enough. The dessert was really good but it also took a while to get it. We were half way done with our cappuccinos. Price - I feel they are priced too high for a chicken dish and pasta. Although it is a good portion it is still chicken and pasta. It was $31 for the chicken parm and $26 for the Cavatappi. The dessert was $12 It was a busy day but they should still keep their standards and serve food with the right temperature. I will give it another change for sure.
