This place is RIDICULOUS!! My husband held up a pair of Arizona shorts for $20! It wasn't even new. I am disturbed to notice that they are price gouging donations, what a disappointment! Still 5/5 from me due to friendly staff and I always walk out of the store with something. Very neat place too. I believe my theory on my last post is 100 percent correct though about the pricing due to what happened on my most recent visit. I believe different people price the items and someone prices way to high, and someone prices way too low actually(which I don't mind :) There were two FILA sweater from about the 1990s era. They were both right next to each other too which confused me more. It was the same exact jacket, color, style, etc. One of them was $29.99 and the other was $3.99. Why is there a $26 dollar difference between the same jacket? Sure enough I took the $3.99. Ironically the $3.99 was even in better condition than the $29.99 one because that one had stains. I believe they should stick to one general pricing like Goodwill as follows Shirts $1.99 Sweaters and sportswear $4.99 Collared & Dress shirts $6.49 Jackets $9.99 Electronics vary on item. My first time visiting this thrift store. Upon entering it seems promising, however I quickly realised that the employees were super rude! HONEST REVIEW 2023 - You should come here if you want GOOD finds, you may find some stuff at a good price but most shirts go for $8, its a discount store more than a thrift store tbh. They have a wide and better selection than most thrifts but you pay for what you get, here you'll find SOMETHING, salvation army, goodwill etc. you probably will leave with nothing. This is a pretty cool thrift shop, it's bigger than any other thrift shop I've seen. They offer 10% off your purchase when you check in. This place is super organized, which is rarely seen in places like this. Like most thrift shops they have colored tag specials which makes the deal you're already getting even more sweet. They have all sorts of stuff things like bed linen, curtains, table cloths, toys, games, shoes, swim suits, clothes, purses, DVDs, CDs, dishes, baby items, the list goes on and on. Worse thrift store ever!! I love checking out thrift shops almost daily and whenever im in a new city. I was in a long line to pay for about 30 minutes to buy a ceramic item that was red marked at "1 98". The cashier said that wasn't the price and that it was missing a number after the 1. She said the person who marks prices wasn't there and couldn't sell it to me. That's ridiculous! They get their shit for free. Just give me a price or let me buy it at what it's marked. And by the way, the workers here love to get on the loud speaker and be rude and condescending to the 50 customers waiting in line. They announced to remove the items off the clothes while in line and something about not letting people cut in line. This place is horrible. Have been coming here for years since I moved to the area, and every time I always find clothes I really like at decent prices. But today I walked in, and the women putting clothing on the racks were not willing to be helpful or even say excuse me when they walked right in front of the area I was looking at. There is a difference between doing your job and trying to finish the tasks and blatantly treating a customer like they are in YOUR way. I will return for the clothing prices and the daily color deal discounts, but the customer service needs to be improved tremendously. This is where people come to spend their hard earned money and not break the bank; why not be kinder to people who are coming to support this business? The cashier in the front with the bangs is never nice to me and always handles my garments with such disrespect. I believe she is lead cashier or the manager? Furthermore, I was being followed in the store despite having spent more than $1,000 at this place within the last year. An associate was on her cellphone speaking about someone in Spanish: saying things like "we don't know about her yet. Me and you keep looking at her" and since I was treated rudely I somewhat believed this call to be personally about ME, I felt very strange knowing that these women are having personal conversations during business hours and speaking about people. read more

I was in the area and was looking for something to do, when I came across this place on yelp. After reading some reviews and looking through the pictures, I decided to give this place a try. I'm not usually a thrifting person, I just like to go to see if I can find any treasure items. A big thing for me when going to thrift stores, is cleanliness. And this place was just that. I didn't expect everything to be so organized and well kept. Everything had its place and were in the spots they are suppose to be in. I appreciate the employees working hard on keeping this place tidy and clean. As for their selection, the pictures from months ago showed that they had a lot of variety. I guess it depends on the donations that comes in. Other than that, they had clothes in every selection and sizes; they also have purses, shoes and things for around the house like bedding! They have a children section with clothes, shoes, and toys which was very nice. When I was going through the clothes selection, the price seemed fair. I've been to a few overpriced thrift stores but this one was not it. Though I walked out with nothing, my experience there went fairly well. As time was passing by, I noticed that it was getting more crowded and people were leaving with bags of goodies. It's a place I can tell people from around the area go to often. read more

I have 2 boys and they go through jeans like crazy! Mega Thrift helps me keep my kids in almost new, brand name jeans without dropping $25 plus per PAIR. I spend @$3 on average per pair, sometimes the tag color is on sale for 40% or 50% oFF! #SCORE Recently I bought a pair at $5.98 of literally BRAND NEW Levi Jeans! My daughter is a very tiny size, like 0-1 in pants and on the front sale racks she has picked out 2 for $1 pants and just a few weeks ago tops in her size for 3pc @$1! Justice, Forever 21, Charlotte Russe brands that easily would cost me $10 per shirt! I have NO CLUE who these cheapskates that think this place is overpriced are or what kind of garbage dump they are used to shopping at, but seriously, I spend a good $30-$40 every time and I always find a TON of great stuff for my kids. The place is CLEAN, clothes are CLEAN and there is always helpful staff and they have like 4-5 dressing rooms available - that takes $$$ to run, organize and that $ goes to paying real workers NOT volunteers like other charity thrift stores - who don't take time to organize or pick out dirty items before putting them on racks like MegaThrift does. Very well organized store and the employees are very nice too. However, everything seems to be over priced. Most likely you'll find a better deal via eBay. I believe whoever is in charge of pricing the items are basing the prices out of eBay and adding 10-20 percent more. My daughter and I have been shopping here for years. My daughter actually is handicapped and she loves shopping here with her mama. The two of us is always together as I am also her caretaker. She is usually well behaved when we walk and browse around all over the store. I have bought so many many items here, some are even new or hardly used. I've bought so many shoes, jeans, bathing suit, kitchen items, purses, rugs, stuff toys, jackets, a used luggage in good condition etc etc. I've donated many old stuff and used clothings here too since they're also a donation center. I would give zero stars to the thrift store if I could. For starters everything is way overpriced as they thoroughly go through the treasures or at least what they fail to be and slapped a highly exaggerated price on the items! On top of that the employees are extremely rude. When I got to the register the girls that were working we're standing around talking about a customer who had just left and making fun of him for questioning the price of the lighter. I asked to see a T-shirt that was hanging behind the register and when the girl brought it down she would not let me hold of the shirt to inspect it. They were asking $50 for a T-shirt that somebody had donated but wouldn't give me the opportunity to completely inspect it for wear and tear or even to check the size! It's unfortunate they price everything like it's it high end boutique. But treat customers so poorly. Very disappointing trip to the store I would advise to skip it.. All houseware & outdoor stuff was very presentable . Staffs were nice and professional & too top it off they had weekend sales on color tags that nocked off additional 40-50% the tag price . This place looked well organized. I was turned off by the pricing. Seemed way too high. I looked at a handmade crocheted blanket that was $25! I've seen crochet blankets go for under $10 at Goodwill and Savers. I also saw a dress that was around $20 that had a rip in it. These are not used item thrift store prices. After seeing those prices I left so I'm not sure if it happened to be a fluke that I only looked at high priced items or if these are their typical prices. read more

This place is everything I wish I could find in L.A. Most thrift stores are very unorganized and for the price, I really can't expect much. Was very very delighted when my b.f. told me about the sister store that we visited. This is how we found out about this location. So many goodies were surprisingly found. When we walked in, I was pleasantly surprised to find most of the clothes were organized by size. Big big plus! Scanned around and found a few items to try on. Among them some blouses and shorts. Fitting area is nicely sized with a mirror inside which was great for us! There was no one watching over you while you tried on the clothes which made the experience that much more comfortable. I've been reading some reviews of this store and its sister store. I guess this is what you have to keep in mind when you shop in thrift stores. Items are usually donated which means they have either been: new, gently used or worn the hell out. You have to make a judgement call on the item you want to purchase and take the price into consideration. Now, we also have to think that these locations have rent, utilities, employees to pay. So no, the prices are not dirt cheap, but they sure as hell are better than going to Ross, Marshall or any department store. If you take your time to really look through the items, you may be lucky and find things that are suited to your needs and likes. Prices seem to be on par with other thrift stores I've gone to. They are much more reasonable than Goodwill in my opinion. It was also much more appealing to shop here since they have discount ticket items of the day. Score for us! Will we come again? Yes! This place deserves 5 stars but gotta take 1 star away for the store being so damn HOT! They had fans going but honestly it was just too hot. I'm not sure how the employees are able to work in such environment. We wanted to stick around and look some more but I personally was sweating like there was no tomorrow. My b.f. even had to step outside to get some air. Gotta say, this place is super dog friendly which will always make this a great location in my opinion. We do take our dogs in a doggy stroller because leaving them in a hot car is no option to us. We either all shop together or we don't shop at all. This is a personal choice to us and in no way makes us upset if they aren't dog friendly. The fact that all staff were super friendly to them and accommodating makes us want to come back again.
