Wanted to see the new Superman movie and this theater was near my hotel. Overall a very clean and modern theater with lots of self serve ticket kiosks. A big space for concessions with seemingly a lot of snack choices beyond popcorn. The theater of my movie was clean, sound was good and the seats were comfortable. Some things that gave me pause...had a hard time finding parking for a 930 pm show...no recliner seats ?! And one main (non emergency) entrance and exit to theater/screening room. I wouldn't hesitate to come back to this theater when next I'm in the area. read more

You have a huge mice problem!!! There were multiple rodents running around. I had to pull my feet up and I was so disgusted. They were in the aisle and even ran under my seat. This is a huge problem. I saw traps outside the theater so perhaps they know. But inside the theater in the dark while watching a movie is the worst experience ever! read more

When buying tickets, my friend and bought some that was directly in the middle of the screen as shown on the app. The app also said we were buying Luxury seating. When we got there, the seating map was nothing like how it was in the theater so we were off center AND in regular, uncomfortable seating. Super disappointing. Staff seemed annoyed to be there and sarcastic when we were ordering. Won't be coming back to this location and will still with Cinemark even if they don't do the "throw back" films. read more

I seriously 100% LOVE Megaplex and will go to my grave saying it's the best movie theater ever. Here's why: All Megaplex Theaters have points you can earn by simply providing them with your rewards card or better yet, phone number. I haven't paid for popcorn or drinks for quite a while--not only because of the rewards I've stacked up personally but also the random emails and rewards they send out because they love their customers. All Megaplex Theaters have $5 Tuesday, which also correlates with cheap popcorn, drinks, and nachos. (Ranging from $1-$3). And the best part? If you use their app, you don't get charged any online convenience fee. WOOT WOOT PARTY PARTY. All Megaplex Theaters have delicious food and comfortable seating. Luxury Loungers? CHECK. D-Box? CHECK. Even their regular peasant seats (which I will happily sit in) are spacious, slightly reclined, and have plenty of leg room. I'd also recommend their loaded nachos with pork and a shake to wash everything down. Honestly, you can't go wrong with anything you choose. This theater specifically is located conveniently off I-15, there are tons of restaurants around if you don't feel like eating at the movies, plenty of parking, GREAT customer service, and excellent movies with a whole variety of times to choose from. Take it from me, Megaplex will not steer you wrong! TIPS & TRICKS: * Park between the dinosaur museum and the theater, when you're done with your movie you can leave out the back doors and it spits you out right there. This theater is nice and has a lot of movie theaters in it. That being said; my main reason for the 4 stars are because they still have the "old small seats" opposed to the newer or updated theaters that all have big recliner seats. I'm sure it's because they are able to cram more people in and sell more tickets, but I realized I haven't been to this theater in a long time because you do feel crammed in if you have to sit right next to someone, especially if you don't know them. The movie was great, the staff that I encountered was fine. The women's bathroom after the movie was packed...so you had to wait in line for a bit, but that kind of happens everywhere after a 2.5 hour movie. read more

Took my little family of five here to see Sing 2. We went on a Tuesday for the $5 Tuesdays and there was only one other group in there. I like that they have the kiosks you can order your tickets and concessions. You just take your food ticket up to the food court and they will get it ready for you. We got seats the row right above the main aisle that divides the bottom and top section which is usually nice but there were big open gaps with a rail where my 3 toddlers could easily fall forward to a 3 ft drop. After we tried to fill up our popcorn bucket on the theater side but even though we were noticed no one ever came to help us or even bother to tell us to come to the other side of the counter. I'm a pretty patient customer but I would have liked some acknowledgment of being there or direction to come around instead of waiting there for five plus minutes. So we walked all the way to the main food court and got a refill. read more

For theater atmosphere, this one deserves 5 stars! I love coming here, mainly because of the ambiance and vibe it gives off. I enter here and know I going to have an epic movie experience. Popcorn is great, the gelato and doughCo machines are wonderful dessert options and the soda machine just makes my heart giddy. All is well in my movie world, until I sit in my seat. I typically end the movie with a slight kink in my neck after. If I could buy the luxury seats every time, my movie experience would be complete. Unfortunately, I would rather go to a nearby theater for the same movie price that gives me a luxury recliner, and forgo the dreamy atmosphere just to save a few bucks. Sorry, Megaplax TPI. If only I could afford luxury seating more often or could get a Tuesday seat quick enough. Still a fan of the gorgeous theater though! read more

Not impressed. Very outdated, lots broken. Ordered food to "skip the line" but their machine was broken so it didn't print my ticket. Had to wait in line at guest services, they couldn't figure out how to print it so I was sent to the food line and had to wait to tell them my order and have it prepared. Waited in more lines. Bathroom doors don't close all the way and flung open, no hand towels. It was a mobbed and can't find parking. First and last visit, Won't be back. read more

The movie itself was fine, but that's about the only positive I've got. Parking struck me as insufficient--I think we found the only spot in the place and it was far at the back next to a random port-a-potty. I stopped off for concessions 15 minutes before the movie and we were still late into it because it took them so long (I ordered a popcorn and a burger). There seemed to be plenty of employees and not that many customers but the employees were running around like chickens with their heads cut off. It was extremely disorganized. On top of it all, the place was filthy. This was my first time at the Thanksgiving Point theater--usually I visit the Cinemark in American Fork, and I can see now that I'll just keep returning to that one. The AF location has default recliner seating (Lehi does not) and has always been clean and speedy. read more

POSITIVES: Came to this Megaplex for the first time on Fri night. It wasn't too packed, and the theatre seemed clean. The chairs were incredibly spacious, and very comfortable (they had power reclining and swivel trays). NEGATIVES: the prices are pretty steep (I only came to this theater because of an offer through T-Mobile). PRICE: popcorn bucket is about $16 with $1.25 refills. Movie tickets vary, but are upwards of $12 per person. Overall, it was good, but the luxury theatre is pretty expensive, as are concessions... I'd probably end up going somewhere local that is cheaper and has just as comfortable seating. read more

I can see this Megaplex from my bedroom window. If only they removed a few walls so I could watch the movies from my bedroom window too! That would be nice. This theatre always seems to be packed and honestly, good for them. I would imagine people are sick of holing themselves inside their houses all day like we did for two years, so people are finally able to support movie theatres again! Megaplexes are so convenient; I love it. You have the app that can earn you all kinds of goodies, you can have order pickup, and this specific theatre definitely has an array of amenities. Inside, they have a coffee machine-- I am absolutely not a fan of the coffee, it is watered down and worse than a gas stations coffee in my opinion, but it is still nice for people to use if they choose. They also have a little pizza area and the Coke Freestyle machines that allow you to choose over 150 different sodas (I don't recommend all of them in the same cup). This theatre does stand out as one of the not-so-fancy theatres in the area. Many other theatres in the area have the really nice seating, tray tables, and better overall sound. I have been to a few movies here and while they do claim to have Dolby Digital surround sound, it doesn't sound all that great if I'm being honest. I have seen movies where that sound has been put to the test too--with multiple horror movie showings and they do have a dolby announcement before the movie starts that will blatantly show you how good the sound is lol. I think all of us in Utah are just being spoiled with the REALLY NICE theatres hahah. Regardless, it is still a good theatre and I will continue to go when there is something I want to watch in theatres :) read more

This isn't a luxury theatre, but you can definitely have a pretty good experience. We went to see Top Gun: Maverick and booked the luxury seats for the 10:00 PM show. The seats are very nice--reclining and heat! Concession stand was pretty good--- I didn't realize you can access it on both sides of the ticket check in podium-- would've waited until I got through had I now that. Employees were super nice and everything was very clean when we entered the theatre. Movei quality and sound were also great. Restrooms very clean. Would definitely return. read more

Last night I went to a movie for the first time since Covid. It was a wonderful movie selection and I really appreciate megaplex giving out free tickets via the app to bring people in to show them how they are operating with Covid. As far as cleanliness and distancing it was fantastic. If you have any fears or reservations about movie theaters I would say you should go see for yourself and I think you'll be surprised. We were in auditorium two and throughout the whole movie there was a slight squeaking noise. It sounded like it was coming from the projector room and we were on the back row so it was very distracting. The movie got out at a late time and I looked around to see if there was any employees to just let them know but I couldn't find anyone. So the movie experience which is what we go for was a three star but The Covid prep was a five. read more

This is the closest movie theater to my house, and definitely love how close it is. The parking lot is probably the worst thing of the whole theater! If you come on a weekend night, it will take forever to get a parking spot or you have to park far away! The ticketing is easy and never busy, plus you can pre buy them online. The food court is large and has lots of options, though I just get popcorn and a soda. They do have like 4 Coke machines with all the flavors, so that is fun. I really wish they had more theaters with the reclining seats but then the number count would go down. read more

We used the stupid Atom 3rd party app for the gift passes. And they were walking us through it and because we were ten minutes past the showtime, we were no longer able to go to the movie. We wanted to use our pass for a later time and go in but they wouldn't let us. The theater was dead with four people in our showing. I've worked at a movie theater, the same company as a matter of fact, and I know that they were just being picky. A worker at this Megaplex came up to me just as I was about to enter the theater (after paying for a ticket, popcorn, and a drink). He said: "Hey ma'am, due to liability reasons it's against our company policy for you to be barefoot in here. So you need to put shoes on." I told him I don't own any shoes and that there were no signs or any indications anywhere that shoes were required. He looked at me in shocked disbelief: "You don't own ANY shoes?" I said, "no I don't." Then he said, "I've never had to deal with this situation before, hold on one second." Then he came back and said "You can be barefoot just this once, but you can't do it if you come back again." I said "Okay, you really need to put up some kind of sign or something, otherwise that policy is going to ruin the night of a lot of barefoot people and drive away customers." He said "We will update that right away. Thanks." And I watched my movie. Never going back there again though. So lame. Being barefoot doesn't make you any more liable than wearing shoes with poor traction... it's a poor policy that will drive barefooters and hippies away from going here, I will be telling the barefoot app developers to include this location in barefoot-unfriendly establishments. :( read more

I have tried to give this theatre the benefit of the doubt multiple times but every single time I go there are issues and I feel it's necessary I leave a review. To start it is always 90+ degrees in the theatre, also there is always 100 workers just standing around twidling there thumbs but never actually doing there jobs and helping people. The volume of the movie was extremely quiet and at one point there was a guy up with the projector on his phone and you could see see the reflection on the walls of the theatre. The kettle corn was extremely stale also. This is suppose to be a great theatre but I have gone 3 or 4 times and each time it has been awful. The megaplex in vineyard is 100 times better and its only 15 minutes up the road. Do yourself a favor and go to that one. read more

Came to megaplex to watch Black Panther and was astounded by the great customer service. I had a gift card that wasn't working and the employee quickly grabbed a manager to help me. ( I'm assuming he was a manager. 19, black Shirt, hat and glasses.) They quickly got the situation fixed and I was on my way. Had a great time. No complaints. read more

This is a decent theater, but Megaplex has better theaters just 15 minutes to the North and South. $5 Tuesday is a great value, but they don't have an IMAX theater and the Mammoth Theater has some of the smallest, fun-size seats I've ever had the displeasure of sitting in. Last night we were packed like sardines in there for Captain America and it was pretty miserable. As others have mentioned, the one-time buy Megamug is a great deal. After that it's $1.50 to refill for life. Just try not to lose the lid between washes as there isn't any kind of a lid only purchase (I tried). Concessions have the usual drinks, popcorn, candy, mini pizzas, nachos, etc. Nothing like the options at the Jordan Commons theater, but still good enough to get you through a movie. They also have the flavor stripe ice cream cones, but my girlfriends cone was soggy and dripping within 5 minutes of getting it. Definitely some cheap cones there. If you don't want to drive to the Geneva or Jordan Commons locations then this one will do. Otherwise make the extra drive and go elsewhere. read more

Really great theater. The original 8 aren't as new or big, and the sound isn't as good (IMO), but what they lack in newness, they make up for in pride for their craft. I filled out a survey once and mentioned a problem with sound levels. The manager wrote to me and asked for specifics so his team could investigate/correct. I wish there was better waking paths from the large West/South parking lots. You're always waking in the road when people are anxious to leave, then waking through their flower garden to get out of the way. read more

Interesting theatre for sure, where it is VERY steep so that you will not have any issues with the person in front of you, and a curved screen that gives a very interesting view of the 3D films they run. Primarily designed for kids to come through, which is strange that they do not have a better fitting 3D glasses for small heads of younger kids. This led to issues during the show, and ultimately is why I give it 3 stars. The price that they charge does seem high, so i would recommend trying to go during the week and to a matinee versus evening or even the weekend. read more

Nothing like late night movie club at Thanksgiving Point movie theaters. Love Tuesday night movies for half off. If you need a good snack check out Pizza Como or chicken alfredo, or cheesy breadsticks. If you need a Frozen treat and check out the gelato. This is the closest theater to where we live so we come here quite often. Luckily, our schedules are such that we can usually see all of our movies at matinee times and avoid most of the crowds, but every once in a while we get stuck right in the mess of things! This is definitely a nice theater to go to, well above acceptable conditions, which includes comfortable seating, clean, ample viewing angles, good concessions, good screens, and good audio. $5 Tuesday has become quite the hit in Utah and this theater is no exception to that wonderful weekly event. Hooray! We've recently discovered the joy of a MegaTub and now we can't go without one. What a disappointment. $12 for each mediocre seat. We saw an extended version of one of the Lord of the Rings. The movie was super poor quality with brown bands of color on the right side of the screen. The theatre had not been cleaned in between showings. My husband and I had to clean our own seats and attached tray. But we saw an attendant cleaning framed posters in the hallway. That's so much more important. Would never go here again. I'll stick with the $5 shows at FatCats in Saratoga Springs. Great seats and super clean. High quality screen and they even include an alcohol wipe at each seat even though they are thoroughly cleaned between each showing. We've seen several movies at FatCats and they never disappoint! read more
