Called at 10:37pm for a tow near Knott and Lincoln in front of Planet Fitness. Asked if he's available to tow a friend's vehicle for one mile. Quoted $100 up to 5 miles. I gave location and vehicle type and even texted location just to confirm. Waited 40 minutes before calling them back to ask for an ETA expecting someone to come. They did not pick up when I called. I texted asking for an ETA, no response. I called again, no response. Left us hanging for an hour and no one showed up. Could've just let me know from the beginning if he wasn't able to do it. I don't usually leave bad reviews, but leaving people hanging without any communication is absolutely the worst thing a business can do to someone who needs assistance. Wasted everyone's time when I could've called other people. Don't call them if you need assistance unless you like being ghosted. read more

My EV unexpectedly quit on the road when I was taking my baby nephew, Toddler niece, and parents to dinner. After calling emergency services, the first tow truck quoted me 75 min even though I escalated the need to get the kids off the side of the road. Had to call assistance back and they suggested I get another company to come out. Thankfully MegaStar took the call and came out in the time that was quoted! Faisal was awesome. I called on a Saturday to have a lifted truck towed to my mechanic. they informed me they would have a driver available in an hour which more than suit in my timeframe. He called right away and asked a few questions about my vehicle and said he'd call me again when he was close. If your car get lockout, don't hesitate to call this shop. They came to my house less than 20 mins although my place was 2 cities away from their location provided on Yelp. He helped me to open my door less than 3 mins. To be honest, their price is much better than locksmith. It is very reasonable if you explain clearly your situation before they come. He even gave my car a jump start for free. I've never seen any mobile service that is this nice. If in the future, my car got sth wrong again in the middle of the street, I will call them and recommend them to my friends and family as well. I just want to say there very responsive. The communications great. I had a issue with California Roadside towing very unprofessional. They said they could tow my car and put it in the driveway. They came out with a flatbed and said I needed the other tow truck. They contracted with Triple A. To confirm my tow California Roadside Towing called my phone and said Hey my girl said you wanted and tow at your residence mind you the car was down the street a little is wasn't in front of my residence. I said who is this she said isn't that what you told my girl. You don't call nobody phone like that and didn't tell me what towing company it was. The communication at California Roadside is very unprofessional. Call Farmers insurance and they had Mega Star come out and Sal put it right where I wanted it on a flatbed.
