He is honest, caring and does a great job with my and my family's teeth. He doesn't push unnecessary procedures or anyone and is very caring! His staff is just as amazing, and I have been seeing Amanda as my hygienist and she just plain rocks! They have televisions at each dental chair and let you change the channel and watch what you'd like. They give you a hot towel at the end of your cleaning which is such a nice touch. So let me just say I don't like going to the dentist. I get extreme anxiety. Dr A reviewed my X-rays and while a tooth extraction needed wasn't what I wanted to hear and was scary, his staff made it so easy with a payment plan that wouldn't put me in the hole. They were so understanding and he said it was more important to him I get it fixed and "the money we can figure out." He also said I needed a cavity filled that was on the brink of a root canal. I felt nothing during or after! And the most crazy thing is Dr A called me after my apt to find out how I was feeling from the cavity he filled. Wow! Never had a dentist follow up with me. Dr Abbassian was a godsend. I normally do not like dentists, let alone dental offices, and was a little nervous before I walked into his office. The moment that I walked in I knew I was going to be in good hands. I was having a good amount of dental work done, and he did it not only in one day, but in 4 hours and it was completely pain free. I not only pleased with him but all the staff was extremely friendly and just so caring. First, I will start by saying, I am terrified of the dentist. I have had surgeries, babies, injuries...I am tough. The dentist has always been so hard for me. I was referred to this office a few years back. I remember the first time I stepped into the office. The front desk person is super sweet. She made me feel comfortable right away. It turns out our children are friends! Because I was a new patient Dr. Abbassian came in to introduce himself before my cleaning. I explained my fears and he was so understanding. He told me not to worry and that he would make sure to inform the hygienist. The cleaning was no problem. She did a great job and made sure I was comfortable the whole time. I have had a few visits since and each time they are so friendly and supportive. I love the work the hygienist and the dentist have done over the past few years. I had my yearly cleaning this past week with Dr. Abbassian and his staff. I was impressed as to the additional safety equipment they have implemented due to Covid-19 with air purifiers and other equipment to catch any of particles from our breathing (Idon't recall the name for it!). They were concerned about my comfortableness. My teeth always feel so clean after my visits with them. even the x-rays of my teeth didn't poke my mouth that it has happened with other dentists I use to go to. After a horrible experience with George Koutsoukos DDS, I came to see Abbasian Mehran DDS for a second opinion, recommended by my OB/GYN. He was very professional, the staff was great and he didn't charge me ONE DOLLAR for a consult. He saved me from a ridiculous amount of unnecessary procedures ordered by doctor Koutsoukos while I was pregnant because he knew it was too risky for my baby. I went in to get my wisdom tooth extracted only because I had been to him before. Trusting his expertise I was sure he would of recommended me to an oral surgeon if he couldn't do the procedure. Unfortunately he took advantage of the situation considering I was a cash patient. He took matters in his own hands put me through major torture spend one hour and half pulling and aggressively pushing and tugging on my tooth to only remove part of the tooth. Reassuring me that it's completely ok to leave the rest of the tooth still in there. After leaving his office in agonizing pain I had to return due to major pain in my jaw and sharp shooting pain in my ear. Only in that situation he tried to get a hold of three different oral surgeons to finish the job he really messed up on. It took the oral surgeon 30 min to make an incision and pull out the tooth and stitch the gum. All of my pain and agony could have been eliminated had he referred me to the surgeon in the beginning. It's been three weeks I am still dealing with the damage caused by the procedure the pain in my jaw and ear. What he did not only traumatized me but my children as well. They watched me suffer for three weeks. I hope Dr. Mehran Abbassian pays close attention on a situation for the future to prevent another innocent patient paying the price of poor decision read more
