I had an emergency dental situation with a severely swollen wisdom tooth and unbearable pain, and I honestly can't thank Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry enough for what they did for me. I had called multiple places, but no one could accommodate me the same day. Most clinics only offered a consultation, and even after X-rays, I was told I'd have to wait a few days to see a surgeon. Meanwhile, my pain was getting worse by the hour. From the moment I called Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry, the experience was completely different. The front desk team was incredibly caring and understanding. They gave me a same-day appointment, and when I called again a few hours before my appointment saying the pain had become unbearable, they immediately asked me to come in earlier without any hesitation. When I arrived, I met Dr. Peyman, who evaluated my condition and explained that the wisdom tooth needed to be extracted due to the swollen gum covering it. Although the surgeon was only available after a couple of days, seeing the level of pain I was in, he took the initiative to perform the extraction himself. He reassured me that we could stop anytime if the pain was too much, which gave me a lot of confidence to proceed. What stood out the most was his expertise and care -- I didn't feel any pain during the entire procedure. It was smooth, professional, and honestly a huge relief after what I had been going through. After the procedure, not only did I feel immediate relief, but Dr. Peyman also personally followed up with me the next day to check on my recovery. That level of care is rare and truly appreciated. If you're ever in an emergency dental situation, this is the place to go. They don't just treat you -- they genuinely care about getting you out of pain as quickly as possible. I thought I would leave home with some kind of prescription she said just over the counter and told me I needed a lot of dental work and gave me an appointment for a deep cleaning on three of my molars only $269.00 ! and that the entodontist would need to see me also and that costs $125.00 I have no insurance! I asked her are you giving me pain medication antibiotics she said no antibiotics would do nothing , so I honestly don't think I got any kind of care I was told that I came in as an emergency appointment so I bas felt I paid $125.00 to be told I needed a lot of dental work and she couldn't pinpoint where my pain was coming from!! I was a patient of Dr. Fealy, DDS for approximately 30 years and never experienced billing issues until the practice was taken over by Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry. During a routine annual check-up, I was told that one of my crowns was beginning to recede and that corrective treatment was recommended. Because I live on a fixed income, I specifically asked the office to verify my insurance coverage and confirm my exact out-of-pocket expense before I agreed to any treatment. I provided my insurance information and was told the office would verify everything with my insurance company. After supposedly confirming coverage, I was quoted an out-of-pocket cost of $792.30, which I paid on the day of the procedure in reliance on their representation. Approximately two months later, I received an additional bill for nearly $800.00 more. I immediately contacted the office and explained that this was NOT the amount I had been quoted. The response I received was simply: "Well, that's insurance companies for you." That explanation is unacceptable. The entire purpose of requesting a pre-treatment estimate was so I could make an informed financial decision before authorizing the work. No additional procedures were performed, there were no complications, and nothing changed regarding the treatment itself. In my opinion, quoting a patient one amount to secure approval for treatment and then billing more than double afterward is deceptive and unethical. As a result, I filed complaints with both the California Dental Board and the District Attorney's Office regarding these billing practices. Patients should be extremely cautious and insist on detailed written financial disclosures before agreeing to treatment at this office. read more

Hygienist was great, periodontal surgery went well. What I didn't appreciate was the way a billing response was addressed. They took the time to reach out to Delta for cost of procedure and my portion. I paid in full with two payments at time of procedure. I understand that there are no guarantees, but it was a considerable difference that I was later billed. Their billing automatically sends you a statement that says you are behind, and received prior notice., which is not true. Also the receptionist on two visits, omitted my payment history and asked for twice as much as I owed at the time of visit. I corrected her both times and simply stated no, i paid you last time. I probably would have let it go, but my final visit today, again with billing wasn't pleasant. I simply stated that it was a considerable discrepancy, and was promptly schooled by the receptionist, that I'm a medical professional, and should know how things work? Then being greeted upon leaving, with a very highlighted explanation of benefits and stating to me, I acted like they did something wrong, was very unprofessional. I had already stated before going in that I had spoken to delta and understood the extra cost. Just wondering how you're going to respond to the concern, you seem to have no problem calling people out when they owe you money. I don't. I supposed to have an appointment with Dr. Peyman Kafri for a permanent dental crown but office made my appointment when another doctor/Dr. Rayan Kafri is working also "in case root canals need to be done during appointment as well". So, Dr. Peyman suggested before placing a permanent crown, Dr. Rayan will do root canals. I signed explanation of benefits that I must to pay one thousand dollars which I paid. But they failed to inform me that substituting provider/Dr. Rayman Kafri, was out-of my network. I went to this office because Dr. Peyman Kafri was in my network and my insurance covered a big portion of the payment. In one month I was told I must to pay additional $506.00 for root canals because my insurance did not covered this portion. They were clearly lying when i told I must to pay one thousand, which I signed for. The provider was switched without my consent, they did not explained even it can be cost much more and it will not covered my insurance at all. read more

Valencia Aesthetic Dentistry has completely gone downhill since Dr. Fealy left. the quality of care and honesty is no longer there. My husband was told he needed a root canal but was advised to wait until January for his insurance to reset, otherwise it would cost $1,100 out of pocket. When he went to his appointment on 1/6/26, the receptionist told him his co-pay would be $850. We have never paid anywhere close to that amount. When he explained we could not afford it and needed to cancel, they charged him a $100 cancellation fee instead of having the courtesy to call ahead and inform us of the cost. I personally we also told I needed a root canal, and my tooth has never been the same since. My son had a cavity filled, and the filling fell out within a few weeks. I even referred my best friend to this office, and she was told she needed a root canal as well. Thankfully, she got a second opinion and was told she absolutely did not need one. They will constantly blow up you phone with texts about scheduling appointments but won't notify you about future co-pays or costs. It feels like all they care about is money and having clients leave positive Yelp reviews. They even pay their staff to get patience to leave positive reviews. The receptionist is awful, and transparency is nonexistent. BEWARE. This place is not what it used to be. I would not recommend it. read more

From the moment I called the emergency number on Saturday since my tooth ache started Thursday but it didn't get worse until Saturday afternoon; Courtney returned my call ASAP and assured me that she will get me in Monday! Sure enough I was seen by Dr. Kafri and assessed that a root canal is needed for that aching tooth. I was immediately given an appointment for the root canal the next day! I was sweating it since I hate root canal but Dr. Rayan Kafri was really good and the process went quick - no pain. I then had my crown impression done and the team of Dr. Pham and her assistant, Sendy, was amazing! They work well together and they were in sink (spelling lol). I've been coming to this facility even before (formerly known as Dr. Fealy) and never had any issue. They really take care of me! I don't see that changing with the new owners, the Kafri brothers. read more

Dr K is communicative, takes the time to listen and explains procedures thoroughly. However, the reason for my recent visits is an ongoing problem with veneers that were applied by the previous dentist. Of the eight veneers, three have detached completely and one cracked.
