DO NOT TRUST THESE PEOPLE A few months ago I brought my car for an inspection, to find out a week later a tire axel was about to fall apart and there was no note of that in the inspection. When I brought it to a second mechanic they said "the people who inspected this weren't doing their job." I didn't pay much mind to it and went about my business, assuming it was a fluke. Last month I discovered my brakes weren't working and sent the car over to have it checked up on. The team at Meineke told me it was going to be $700.00 to replace the master cylinder. A week later I get a call from them claiming that their repair didn't work and that they now needed to replace the ABS bringing everything to a whopping $1600.00! To make matters worse they kept my car for a month, failing to notify me of any progress. When I finally called them, they gave up and said "Bring it to the dealer free of charge." I brought it to a Ford dealer, dealer does a diagnostic, fixes a loose brake line and says the cars all set. The master cylinder was replaced for no reason and the ABS was fine. Avoid this place at all cost, the mechanics have no idea what they're doing and any money spent here is just being thrown away until you bring it to a real mechanic. read more

Girl at the front desk was very nice, I went in because they keep mailing me coupons, at this exact location, address is on the coupon. and the girl at the desk tells me the owner does not want to honor coupons anymore. so why do they keep mailing them to me? i was frustrated but did not want to go looking for another place to get my oil changed. so i got my oil change there anyway, everything else went fine. read more

I worked with Dave Unethical business practices Threats from the service staff Uncompetitive pricing(put nicely) Trash left in loaner car( literally) Loaner car had to be jumped to get back. Unethical business practices are as follows: The shop told me the job would be 800 dollars for a brake job and then after the work was done they told me that they did extra work for and asked for 1,2xx.00 dollars without my permission for any additional work. That's over a 50 percent increase in price. I asked for a price break and we were 100 dollars between what Dave "thought was fair" He threatened to take back any discount and only release my car when the full price was paid. He threatened to uninstall install my breaks and charge me 800 for labor. He was offended and pissed off when I told him that this is bad business. He was very angry over the phone. I need my car for work so I caved in and paid They charge 115/hr(a Toyota dealership only charges 90)for labor and refuse to disclose brands and part numbers to look up prices and quality On top of that see pics of the loaner car. Car broke down and needed a new catalytic converter. They took care of the work expeditiously and highlighted a few other items that I knew the car needed anyway, and they got them done quickly for a fair price. It made me feel at ease that the other items that they suggested the car needed done were things I already knew about - i.e. they were not making up random things to add to the job cost, they were legitimately wrong. These guys also have customer contact figured out well. As soon as the car came in they let me know when they would be doing a full diagnosis and when to expect a call, and they followed up repeatedly during the process. It was done exactly when they said it would be. Will definitely be going back. (Though hopefully not for major work for a while). read more

Had two jobs done here. First job was a disaster and had to be redone. 2nd job was a muffler and small piece of exhaust pipe for $625 on a 2004 Toyota Corolla. I have been bringing my car to this location for the past year with the goal of being a loyal customer. At the beginning, the service was great; my car issues were fixed without a hitch. However, the quality of service has since deteriorated. The TPMS light on my car keeps coming on, and it is because of the tire sensors. After several trips back and forth to this Meineke location, after waiting up to two hours sometimes, the issue has not been resolved. They fixed two sensors, but they don't have record of which ones they fixed. The problem is that they don't keep good records in their system, so they cannot pinpoint the issue; therefore, they could charge me for fixing something they originally repaired. They said the tires were rotated, so that was the reasoning they can't identify which sensors they fixed. However, they are the only ones that serviced my car, so logically they can go back and determine what tire has the replacement/sensor issue. To put insult on top of injury, they told me they do not track the information, item number, codes, etc. of the parts that they install. Information I could provide to a new place to make their jobs easier instead of taking all the sensors out and comparing all of them. Honestly, Meineke didn't seem like they cared to help. They also charge a lot higher for price for service. They told me to fix one sensor it would be $160-190 for parts (off market, not dealer parts) and labor. Visiting another place, I was quoted $118 for the same work but with a dealer part (1 yr warranty) instead of an off market part (90 day warranty) Meineke uses. For such a price difference, I expected better service...in the very least better documentation of work done to my vehicle so I don't feel so helpless when trying to resolve a car issue. read more

I've been going to these guys for years and they are reasonable with the cost and don't upsell extra charges. I just had my exhaust done and asked for an estimate on brakes - when I picked up my car they told me the brakes were fine they just needed to be cleaned up - no charge. And now they work just fine. Did what they said they would do, for the price they said it would cost, in half the time they estimated. Seriously, what more do you need?! Oh, they got that, too. Friendly, explained what was going on, showed me the worn out parts. My new go-to for car stuff. UPDATE: they did all the maintenance (AC recharge, new tires, oil change, etc.) for my relocation to Florida. Sadly they can't keep my car running great anymore... Florida is just too long a commute. As a female in my 20's I'm always nervous about going to a new auto shop because unfortunately you get taken advantage of a lot. I have been to this Meineke location twice and have had the best experiences! The first time I came in it was an emergency with a flat tire which they fixed no problem, fast, for only $20, and the repair has lasted! The second time I came in was for a strange smell when my car had been running a while and not only did Mike fix it but he called me himself to explain my options and what was going on, he also showed me under my car what exactly happened and highlighted any other possible problems that were beginning and gave me a timeline for each and many options. I can't say enough about this shop and these people! Definitely my go-to neighborhood auto shop. read more

I believe the person(s) who owns this place is a scammer. I brought my vehicle there when I found fluid under my car and it immediately began overheating. They called me and told me they could not find anything wrong with the car and that fluids had been topped off and the car had been test driven for 30 miles (yes, this should have been my first red flag). They told me I owed them $100 and I paid it over the phone (MISTAKE). After work, I went to pick up my vehicle only to find that it had been parked in the same spot for the duration of the day. The mileage was exactly the same as when the vehicle had been dropped off (It even said so on the invoice!). The car immediately began overhearing again. The shop was closed at this point, so I returned the next day and spoke to an employee about the car. He claimed they had performed a pressure test and that nothing was found. Meanwhile my car was at another mechanic who discovered that my radiator and AC condenser were damaged. I was refused a refund and treated poorly. Would not honor a $10 off ANY oil change coupon. Would not allow on basic oil change probably because they wouldn't make any money. It would have taken an hour anyway. When I told them false advertising they said get the F out. I glady left with some choice words of my own and went to Jiffy Lube where for $25 value change and no wait I was out in 10 min!
