I received horrible, unprofessional treatment there. They changed the wrong tire, refused to own up to it and the tech was extremely rude and insulting and actually tried to tell me that I am old and have short term memory! And he can't even check the tire order or the tire itself. Customer service on the 800 line was long and arduous. When I finally got through I spoke to a pleasant woman who took my info and complaint and said she would call me back but never did. To top it all off, the brand new tire that they replaced already has a leak issue but I will never go back to that place as long as I live. My brother had the same issue with them replacing the wrong tire. I give them a big fat zero. read more

I've been a frequent customer here for many years, they've always been efficient and reliable. I hit a nail in the road and got a slow leak, so we called the shop (Granted on a Sunday afternoon and it was also Mother's Day) and they gave us an appointment at 4:30 to bring it in so they could patch it. I dropped it off about 90 mins early after filling the tire with a bike hand pump (try it sometime-- it's not fun) and I figured it'd be better to sit there and get flat rather than me having to do that again. When I tried to bring the keys in, the shop door was locked even though it said open until 5 - red flag #1. I stuck my head in the back area and there was loud rap music and what looked like a bunch of guys standing around - red flag #2-- I gave him my keys and walked next door to Oak Barrel to grab some lunch. We walked back by at 4:15 and they still had a lot of cars to service-- many cars with flat tires and a growing group of angry owners waiting nearby. We took a quick walk and got back at 4:35 where the only guy working was running around trying to do what he could. Rather than repair flats he was putting spares on to get people on their way-- that wasn't an option for me as Mazda doesn't put a spare in the MX-5-- he said the only thing he could do was to fill it with air so I could get it home and I could bring it back in the morning. The guy doing the work was super nice, so that's why the review gets 1 star instead of zero. I knew this wouldn't solve my problem because the tire would go flat in my driveway and I'd be back trying to fill it with my bike pump again the next morning. The next morning a friend came by with a pro tire pump, filled the tire and we took it over to a different tire shop on West Boylston Street (look for that review in my review section) and got on with my life. Sadly, I prefer to support these smaller shops, I know Tire Warehouse is part of a larger chain, but this is the only one I know of around here, but this recent visit has ended that relationship. This company is not reliable at all. I went to their website, chose the tires, made the appointment, and got an email confirming the price and the appointment. I decided to follow up with a phone call since they had reviews that stated my similar complaint. ) The guy I spoke with was super nice (Ron) and he was unsure that the tires were in stock. After we figured out they were in stock, the price I was quoted was questioned, so Ron asked a co-worker who took the phone and told me that they (Tire Warehouse) were having problems with the website and that the actual price was over $750! That guy was respectful and courteous, but that didn't change the situation. So frustrating. The upside of this inconvenience is: if you want to talk to nice people...call them. Had an terrible conversation with the manager Jeraldo Rivera when I called to discuss two issues after my four tires were replaced. First they were supposed to save the one good tire out of the four being replaced and to use it as a spare tire. He said they made an honeset mistake. I also addressed the issue of small lugnuts being put on the tire back tires and they did not match the two front tires. So I had to then spend extra money to get the correct matching lugnuts. He said he put on correct ones even though small. I was looking for a credit because of this and he said no. I told hum I will never do business with them again especially because he was rude. Each time we've received excellent customer service. For a few of the repairs the work was minor and did not charge us for the repair! Will never go back there again. First of all I had the misfortune of going there when every single employee was on a lunch break. Everyone had ordered food and were having a little party in the back. Instead of just apologizing and saying they were at lunch I got some BS story that they were having work done in the back of the shop so that was why all the employees were busy. Except they were all walking around chatting about drugs and shootings and not doing any work. I asked to have a tire plugged and they said they couldn't do it and wanted to charge me over $600 for two new tires. I declined and they copped an attitude with me because I would purchase the tires. I took my car to Town Fair Tire and they were able to plug it for $13. He explained what the necessary repairs were and he was the one who repaired everything. He was commutative with me throughout the process. One visit.. waited 30 minutes to be told they lost the tires Second visit... wanted me to wait after losing tires and suggested making appt for next day Third visit... arrived ten mjnutes early for appointment and wanted us to wait over an hour and told to get the tires out and over to the car... I understand mistakes happen but it's how you deal with them. I came back out 2 additional times to get poor customer service, zero communication and no service performed. There were 5 people all taking a simultaneous break on my third visit. So disappointing and a complete waste of my time. I will never go back to this business. Came here, to get 1 tire repaired, and come to find out about a month later, they put on the wrong speed tire. Although this was a temporary fix, the tire wasn't of good quality. Eventually I had to get my tires replaced and instead of getting 3 that I needed, I had to get all 4 done, due to the condition of the tire that I was given which in the long run cost me $150 extra. While there's nothing particularly wrong with this establishment, there's nothing good about it. It's filthy, disorganized, reeks if tires and cigarettes. The people working there don't seem to have a positive grasp of what it is to run a business. Making simple requests such as "don't use bead weights" are met with blank stares at best and annoyed eye rolls at worst. On more than one occasion I've had to have them remount a tire because they didn't pay attention to the direction. When talking to them, they fail to remove the cigarettes from their mouths when speaking to you. If you ask for assistance mounting a wheel, they casually gesture to the jack and answer "there's the jack". Not infrequently, they have non-customers hanging around in the lot fixing their cars. Apparently these are employees and or their friends. I caught them once trying to open my car. And that was the last time I ventured there as a customer. I am owed $106 for a tire price match. I bought 4 new tires from Tire Warehouse, Grove St., Worcester in November, 2021. I returned a week or so later with a competitor's ad evidencing the price difference. I was told that I would receive a credit within two weeks. After four weeks, I had not received a credit so I went back and was told that I need to call the parent company, Monro. They gave me the telephone number. I called Monro headquarters and left a detailed voicemail as that is the only option available. After not hearing back after two weeks I left another voicemail. Unfortunately I guess it's pretty evident that the price match will not be honored. By the way, the tires and service were fine other than I had to stop at an air pump as none of the tires were inflated to within even 5 pounds of the recommended tire pressure? At the appointment time, they said that they had ACCIDENTALLY SOLD ONE OF MY TIRES!! They assured me they would get another one for the next day and I could come in anytime to get my tires mounted right away. When I arrived today I waited an hour before they even started on my tires and ended up being there for 2 hours. The manager was extremely rude, telling me he wouldn't put a "walk-in" in front of other customers, denied that they had sold one of my tired the day prior, but also couldn't explain why they couldn't install my tires the day prior. While driving on the Pike the inner wall of the front right tire of my Mazda 3 blew out. I pulled over, threw on my spare, but knew that wouldn't get me all the way to my destination. I drove to 4 different tire shops within a 4 mile radius and none of them had my size tire and seemed to be burdened by me even asking. I called the tire warehouse and was greeted by a friendly sales associate who told me he had my size tire and to come on by. I was in and out in under fifteen minutes and blown away by their service. Using the store's website, we booked the earliest available appointment on the next day. As expected, we received confirmation from the site after submitting the form as well as a confirmation email. So far, so good, right? Upon showing up for our appointment the next morning, we were greeted by a completely empty lobby. Ten minutes later, an employee appeared. Said employee then informed us that they "did not accept" the appointment we had booked. Yes, the very appointment that we had booked using their website and received confirmation for. What makes this interaction memorable enough for me to write a review is what happened next: ....absolutely nothing. No apology. No expression of regret or even acknowledgment that they had wasted our time in more ways than one. No explanation for why their appointment confirmations are meaningless and misleading (as they are apparently sent regardless of whether an appointment has actually been booked). No offer to try to squeeze us in, despite the fact that almost every time slot had been available to select when we made the booking the day before. We were probably supposed to be grateful that the employee deigned to book us an appointment for the day after. Lastly, if all of the above still hasn't driven you bonkers, you should call the store outside of business hours. Sit down and get comfy, because the phone is just going to ring...and ring...and ring... Oh, did you think there would be an answering machine? Or even a pre-recorded message acknowledging that you've called the correct number and requesting that you call back during business hours? What an amusing notion--either of those could be perceived as a considerate gesture, and I'm pretty sure that they are deathly allergic to anything resembling actual customer service. Although we have been happy customers of this tire warehouse for years, recently our experiences have not been very good there, This started with the purchase of four Cooper tires. In order to get the tires on the car tire warehouse had to break off the four wheel lock Lugnuts as they would not accept the removal tool anymore. I appreciate it them not charging me for this part of the new tire installation. However, before I got into the car, luckily I checked the wheels and they had not replaced the broken Lugnuts that were removed with the ones that I provided them. As driving without one of the five Lugnuts required by the wheels is totally not acceptable, I informed them that they needed to be installed! A couple of months later, I noticed that one of the new Cooper tires had abubble on the side wall. I researched this and found out it was a common problem with Cooper tires and certain models had a safety recall. I called Cooper and, of course, our model was not included in that recall. I had tire warehouse inspect the tire before I bought a replacement from them to see if it was a manufactures defect. The bubble, they informed me, apparently was caused by hitting a pothole. They told me previously that if it was caused by a defect that I, not they, would have to contact Cooper again to arrange a refund! Granted driving on Worcester roads this could be possible, so I paid $100 to replace that brand new Cooper tire. Even though I was not very happy about it and I still have my doubts that hitting some small potholes could've caused this. Not long after this a problem arose with another one of the Cooper tires. There was one tire that was causing vibration between 50 and 60 miles an hour so I brought it back to tire warehouse to have it re-balanced twice to try to solve the problem. After that did not work Tire warehouse informed me that I needed to take the car to a mechanic to have the front end checked out. I did this and the mechanic told me that the front end was fine and that the tire in question was "no good because it had run out." Strange that Tire Warehouse could not figure this out. So now my second Brand new Cooper tire needed to be replaced. I went back to tire warehouse and they told me again that I was the one who had to contact Cooper tire to have the tire replaced and refunded under warranty. When I called Cooper tire they told me that this was the dealer's responsibility to take care of a warranty refund and replacement, not the customer's. In the meantime we were so busy moving to a different part of the state that I did not have time to deal with them at tire warehouse anymore. I went to a local TownFaire Tire near our new location that also was a Cooper dealer and they immediately inspected the tire and told me that it was faulty and would be replaced by Cooper with a full purchase price refund as THEY called Cooper to arrange all the details. It did take over three months but I finally received the hundred dollar replacement refund about a week or so ago. I have never heard of a dealer who sold you a tire refusing to contact the manufacturer about a Warranty issue, saying it was the customers responsibility for a replacement or a refund. In conclusion, I will never buy a Cooper tire or buy from a Tire Wharehouse again! read more

Where to begin... this is the second time ive been there and once again the experience was poor. I was there at 8:45 with my 4 year old son thinking the doors would open at 9. Instead by 10 I was leaving with not one thing done to my truck. The only people who showed up were 4 employees, no manager to open the store up. While they were waiting they chose to smoke some weed right next to me AND my son.
