Beautiful place and friendly staff. Nice bakery goods and good drinks. Street parking and some are free and some you pay by Park Chicago mobile app.

I stopped in this coffee shop after grocery shopping to just sit and take a breather. This is a hidden gem in my neighborhood. This place is so cute and cozy. The dining space is like a little living room. They have handmade jewelry and paintings for sale also. I got the Nutella latte and it was delicious. It was a good treat for a morning pick me up. They also have empanadas for 5.50. The staff is friendly and make you feel right at home. I will definitely be back to support this small business.

Have been coming here since I moved into the neighborhood. Cute coffee shop. Pastries and empanadas . Amazing service.

Salmon and Cheese crepe. Very good and very filling!

The salmon and cheese crepe was incredible! Coffee was incredible! Smoothie was just ok because it's ice-based instead of dairy-based, but that's just my opinion. Owners are super nice, the place is very colorful and inviting. Not "cool" like most coffee shops, more homey.

One of our favorite coffee shops in the city! Incredibly friendly service, comfortable, cozy, eclectic atmosphere... local artists display their works throughout the shop which lends to a one of a kind unique environment. They use locally roasted Metric coffee.. which in our opinion is the best in the city! We also enjoy the crepes and empanadas (sweet and savory)! Highly recommend starting a day here!

I found myself at MeLatte Coffee Shop, while running errands in Logan Square. The adorable cozy space was welcoming and the ambiance made me feel like I was sitting in a friend's front room. I had myself a Hibiscus Iced Tea to go and some flaky Cheese Danishes. The iced tea was super floral and really refreshing. A very cute spot to check out if you're located in the area!

Not the best picture but they have a bar and all types of comfy seating, tables which include all kinds of games books etc!

I can't say enough good things!! Undoubtedly the best iced latte I've had in logan square so far, the avocado toast was simple, light and absolutely delicious. I was greeted by the warmest, kindest people in a welcoming and comfortable environment. I'll absolutely be back to try more of the menu! I rarely post Yelp reviews but I couldn't keep this to myself!

Stopped by here one weekend and I'm so glad we did! I ended up getting a caramel latte. The empanadas looked really good and so I asked the owner which one she recommended, which was the Tinga. The empanada was delicious and I'll definitely be back to try the other flavors! They have a few outdoor small tables outside and a couple of seats in the back of the cafe. The cafe is following COVID-19 guidelines and all of the staff members were wearing masks. Definitely a coffee shop to go stop by at if you're in the neighborhood and/or if you're craving some delicious empanadas!

    So cute and eclectic

Such a cute, artsy, and quaint spot with excellent empanadas and drinks! Really enjoyed the cafecito and guava empanadas here and appreciated how MeLatte is pooch-friendly. There is also a chill lounging area and sweet staff. We had a great time and glad we stopped in!

Great assortment of flakey empanadas, good coffee and crepes! I had the shredded chicken empanada and a Nutella crepe... both delicious. Only open til 4pm sadly, but a great neighborhood spot. The interior has couches and a couple of tables and there are two tables with umbrellas outside.

So...not sure the food is good. I just happen to think the attitude is a little worse. Came with a group and someone in our party ordered the French Onion Soup and then a Croque Monsieur. No one else in our group ordered a starter. What's weird is for some reason they decided to course the soup with everyone's mains. Normal restaurants, including like....your local suburban Chile's, know not to do that but this place thought that was normal. So already, my friend is a course behind everyone because they didn't serve his starter first. What's worse is when he finishes his soup...he doesn't get his main. We actually FINISH our mains and he still hasn't gotten his. He makes a comment VERY NICELY to our waitress like hey! Just wanted to check on my meal! She responds, "all our meals are timed perfectly." What!! My buddy goes, "Okay...I've just been waiting for 15/20 minutes so I think I'm ready for my sandwich." She responds, "okay....let me alert the kitchen." Wait? You didn't even tell them he needed his meal?? We wait another 15 minutes. We flag the waitress again and ask where his meal is and she responds "everything is made to order so the kitchen needs some time." Okay. This is a Croque Monsieur. Are you....rising bread right now? What is happening? So I get frustrated and jump into this and say, "Ya but we've been waiting over 30 minutes for his main. We've all finished so now you're asking my friend to eat alone." She responds, "everything is served hot so what is the problem??" !! I get annoyed because up until this moment, we've been pretty nice. But this waitress not acknowledging any issue or trying to make it better and talking back to us like this is weird. So I just say, "Bring a manager over." Well...it didn't matter. This lady learned her attitude from somewhere and it was probably from the manager. The manager immediately is on the offense like, "you ordered a soup and we wanted you to have the soup hot. And we want your next meal to be hot. We make everything fresh and we clean our dishes in between." The heck? All we want is for my friend to be able to eat his main. So I say, now rudely, "just bring the food. We have waited 30 minutes now. Everyone is done with their meal. If you haven't made it, cancel the order and we'll go somewhere else." She responds, "we usually serve the starter first. If you didn't like that, then don't order a starter." SERIOUSLY!? What is happening!? I think about telling her that USUALLY even if only 1 person has ordered a starter, that gets served first before EVERYONE gets their mains TOGETHER. Instead I say, "listen, cancel the order or give us the food but we aren't waiting any longer." And she goes, "we can't cancel it. The kitchen has been working on it." So I say "this better be home baked bread because they've been working on it for 45 minutes by now." IT STILL takes another 5 minutes to get this meal. It is cold. It is an average Croque Monsieur. And they probably all spit in it. At the very end, the waitress comes over and says, "I see what you mean and there were coursing issues but we take pride in our food and we weren't going to degrade that so we could serve you faster." This place literally lives up to a Parisian stereotype, I guess.

My go to spot every time I'm in Chicago!…read more We love everything about this store and the specials they offer. When you arrive, it looks like a grocery store/food stalls with product specials right inside. It's always something different but great deals! On the first floor is check out and an area to grab quick bites including pizza, fresh sandwiches, and gelato. We always head upstairs to the grocery and wine area - there are also more food stalls and a restaurant. Our favorite is the fresh bread and then charcuterie section. This is a must stop in Chicago!

Considering this place is supposed to have some class, we were pretty appalled that they seemed to do the bare minimum for this event. I felt very deceived by how this event was advertised online vs in real life. It seems they intentionally left out details and was marketed as five tastings at five counters, but we receieved barely a sample at each sation. The website said 1. house made pasta - you have one option and it was three bites, no vegetarian option 2. roman-style pizza - only thing I won't complain about although still a small portion 3. Curated drink from Caffe Lavazza - this was a dixie cup portion of a blended Frappuccino 4. house made pastry - they gave you the option of literal bite sized dessert, not a whole pastry 5. the artisanal salumi and formaggi - pathetic, literally 1 piece of meat, three pieces of the same type of cheeses, three olives, and dry stale crackers. Honestly for what they offer this was a slap in the face and from a consumer perspective Eataly's attempt at a summer money making scheme. I would find it hard to believe anyone who rave about this event, in fact I imagine most left very underwhelmed and still hungry. Eataly itself might be a great experience but we did not have the opportunity. We enjoyed the spritz drinks we ordered for their $9 summer special but this event did not make me want to return at all. It unfortunately dangled everything they could have offered in front of us, but then gave us the lowest tier. Driving in traffic to do this was not worth the time, gas, parking or inconvenience and the best part of our city night was when we stepped out of Eataly.

A little dark but reminiscent of a European bistro. The walls, the floor, the space... and the food? It was everything we needed. The menu mentioned that crepes were a favorite so we ordered savory lunch crepes. It was hard to choose but i ended up with SPARTA crepes, and my SO ordered the BERLIN. They were both delicious. Sparta featured chicken, feta, spinach, tomatoes & mushrooms. Ahh. Berliners must like turkey, provolone, tomatoes and avocado... also amazing. The whole meal was super quick and I would have stayed longer if I had planned our parking situation better. That might be the only negative factor ... limited parking close by.
